Is there any app or tweak to control screen color, contrast, hue? I know cm7 had the color overlay which changed the entire screen color, but couldn't that concept be used to sharpen colors?

I believe chainsDD has an app that does something to that effect. Search chainfire 3d in the market, pretty sure that's what it's called...

Hey guys just thought of a real cool idea for web browsing after viewing this web page. Is there any mod or tweak that can produce the black backgrounds with white text. This would save battery as the super amoled display can display darker colours and would probably result in smoother scrolling.

Here's a link to the site with the black.
I don't know what ROM your running but on CM7 in the browser there's an option to invert colors so if its white background with black text just invert colors and problem solved

Anybody have any custom notification icons they would be willing to share? I've only changed my battery icon

how did you change your battery icon, and what did you change it to? I'm interested in changing mine, but can't find anything on how to do it.
I downloaded the icon from droidpirate.com and applied it with metamorph. I did have to do some editing though. The intervals that the stock icon goes in isn't the same as the icons I found so it would switch from stock to custom. I posted a screenshot of what it looks like

If your are talking about the phone # text on the contact card, that's your accent/tile color. Accent/Tile color also is the color of toggle switches & the volume bar. Just change your Accent color. There's numerous threads about how to make a custom color via registry tweaks or a few apps that do it for you.
The op wants black tiles but the other accent color items to be a different color
It would be better to create custom black tiles and chose an accent color you want.
To create custom tiles/icons, go no further than to ask mr drkfngdrgnlrd above...

The very early versions of Advanceconfig had a bug where it changed the tile color but not the text color. If we could figure out how to do this "trick" then in theory this can work without the long and complex process of making special tiles that often break the app or require you to questionably obtain said app.
Some of the apps don't change the text color when I change the accent colors using the accent color app
the XDA app does this.

I'm on 4.4.2, and I have really ugly color banding on my wallpaper. Apps look fine. Is everyone else having this issue? How about with 5.0.1?
Try to use "Native" color space instead of sRGB.

That's a darn fine idea. However, it did not fix the issue. Strange that it only seems to happen on wallpaper.
I should have mentioned that this is only on live wallpaper. I have tried every combination of things I can think of in the Shield Power Control menu also.
Screenshots?

Here is the live wallpaper from yowindow vs. the same image as seen from within the yowindow app.
I'd try getting a live wallpaper on your display that throws up that image (with some dynamic scrolling effect or something). That might be a one-off.

Hey everyone. I'm using a materials wallpaper on my note 5 and I noticed the color of the wallpaper seems to be lighter on the lockscreen but when I unlocked the phone, the colors become more rich and vibrant. For example. the darker sections will be a dull grey-ish color but when I unlock the phone and I'm on the home screen, those same sections will be a rich black-ish color. Any one else have this happening to them?
Are you seeing the lockscreen color? The lockscreen itself has like a gray film over the wallpaper so it will appear as darker colors. Does it on all Samsung devices.

Not sure what you mean by "lockscreen color" I do see the color of the wallpaper on the lockscreen but it's not as rich as the wallpaper color on the home screen.

Imagine like a film covering a window, like tinted car windows, this is what the lockscreen does to newer Samsung devices. It did it on my s6 edge as well, if you have a lockscreen it's colors are just a little darker than your normal wallpaper. It's normal across new Samsung devices.

There anyway to change the lockscreen? I downloaded a theme, and although I like it everywhere else, I do not like the image on the lockscreen.
Touch and hold the home screen then select wallpaper. In the upper left corner tap home screen. A drop down should appear letting you choose home screen, lock screen or both.
