I have managed to get the Sense 3.0 M10 to work with the Sense 3.5.
The Rosie doesn't get skinned but all the others Sense widgets seem to work fine so far.

The solution is to take your M10 Sense 3 file and put it in your Sense 3.5 fusion.apk under one theme (i.e: burgundy) and then apply this said theme
PS:
=> after 2 days testing, i can confirm that all widgets get properly skinned, the Rom stays fast and stable.
=> applying the Sense 3.0 M10 file into the fusion.apk default theme doesn't work properly, it looks like the M10 file has to be put into one fusion.apk theme other than default
=> the battery doesn't seem to be affected by this workaround
You can see the result is my own Rom (look at my signature) and apply bluesky theme

Did you apply the bluesky theme? You know like it clearly states in the OP. The default theme isn't it.
Yes i had to preform super wipe reinstaled rom i love the skinned theme on android 3.5 ..thank u but there is an issue when using browser for internet the top part the task bar i think is called where battery bluethoooth signal time icon appear looks funny when using browser .browser is forced under the taskbar please help

Good questions...
The M10 file for Bluesky and Burgundy are placed in fusion for our Sense 3.5 for Sensation. Just get the fusion.apk, replace the M10 files that are in bluesky and burgundy, rezip, sign and push/flash back.
The other way is to get any skin that do not have ots M10 file in fusion, replace the original M10 file with the one you like, sign, and push/flash back and the job is done

Lockring can be themed this way. Lockring exist inside the theme m10 file. Once you a apply the theme Lockring changes, now I noticed that some times a reset is needed for it to apply.

Yep did that yesterday. And there was nandroid restore...... Sense was crashed.
It would be nice if Steve be so kind and make some step by step tutorial including also tools he is using (winrar, m10 editor, Sign Apk??)
You know something like:
- take sense 3.0 skin .apk
- extract/decompile it with .....
and so on

08/28/2011: V2.8 This is the final version of this theme. I will put out another one when 5.0 drops but I think I might change the color of blue. In this version I have included the newest version of Gmail and the Marketplace. I used B-Boy's Market and just did the xml edits and used my blue png's. I used Fernando-Sor's inverted blue gmail. I have also changed the icons in the settings.apk file. Hope you enjoy it.

Thanks, but all I did was put the theme together using other people's .png files. All credit goes to them. I have them listed in the OP. I did do some of the theming...the wireless signal and the lock screen's I themed myself other than that I used other people's work.
I tried to install this ontop of skyraider 3.3.3 by saving it on my sd card and using rom manager. That didn't work. What is the best way to apply this theme. It looks very nice.

You need to have the Uncommon addon for this to work. You can flash it via ROM Manager or via recovery.
Man i just hate to ask this because it gives me a newbie complex
been modding phones for almost 7 years but just kicked Windows Mobile (but ALL HTCs cause i like them for some reason) and went Android.. but i'm sometimes more confused because I have enough knowledge to brick my phone in a heartbeat, but not enough to sometime do the easy stuff so all that said... how do I apply this theme... do i need Uncommon SkyRaider? or use a recovery manager to apply it?

Yes download SR3.3.3 install it..then download the uncommon SR addon pack and install it...then take this theme and put it on your SD card...you can either install it via Rom Manager or via recovery.

I do not know anything about that MOD..I am not a very good themer. I just put this theme together from two others. I can do simple things only. Sorry.

No worries. I am ecstatic you took the time to do what you did. Now, if we can get the xml edits needed to change the green progress bars (volume, sliders, etc) all will be well with the world. SkyRaider SHOULD be blue IMO. Fantastic work so far... from EVERYONE.
This looks awesome. Couple questions. Can this be ported to straight uncommon sense? Can the bar at the top be made clear like in riptide9?

Yes I think you can use it on his ROM. I am using his framework.res, com.htc.resources and Rosie. I have not tried it. Not sure about the bar at the top. I am only using some .png files from Riptide9's ROM.
I try it out on uncommon and report back.

I have the XML edits needed I belive from the original theme maker. I just do not know how to get them into the theme and compiled correctly. At least I think that the ones that he gave me will do that. Dunno.

I have a version that I did for the uncomon rom a while back. The only problem is that you get a FC on the default input device. No clue how to fix that.
Can I just flash over your update if I have your theme installed already?

yes thats true I removed them from launcher2.apk..its a whopping 7+mb with them and less then 1 without, besides in 0.11.5 you can pick any wallpaper you like for the lockscreen and background
People should really flash this theme BEFORE installing their apps, or they'll have to do what I have to, uninstall and re-installed 139 apps to get them to match the suave hd icons.. still, it's worth it!

Actually...all you needed to do was delete the custom icons folder from /data, then flash.
how come when i flash just the icons. only the icons in the customized folder flash and not the phone, messages, contacts, etc icons?

Because those icons are located inside the framework so you would need to flash the whole theme.

There is no need to do that anymore because there is a metamorph available for it..Just download the metamorph file and then download and install metamorph from the market..It will apply the animation to your framework file for you

Where would it be? I no longer have any default wallpapers, and don't see a folder anywhere.
It seems that a lot of people like my battery icons, every time I post a screen shot somewhere someone always asks "what battery is that?"
So...
These are MetaMorph themes and they work with the latest Sense builds. Your ROM must already have the battery percent on your ROM already for these to work.
NOTE: These have been tested on the following ROMs:
Skyraider 3.0 and above
Wes342's Super-Z
Nils Business_Sense_Desire-Z
I will do some more research and find out what other ROMs are compatable.
The ROMs above use a folder in the framework named "drawable-hdpi" some of the other ROMs use a folder named"drawable-hdpi-v4"
I am currently working on these for the Virtuous 3.1.0 Rom.
I can't express enough how important it is to do a nand backup first, you are modifying system files! Be forewarned, I can not be held responsible for anything that goes wrong.
I have had hit and miss luck with MetaMorph, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I have had a couple of occasions where it has locked up my phone and I have had to restore from a backup.
Alternative method:
If you are familiar with modifying framework files you can also modify your framework-res.apk file and use adb to push it back to your phone.

These are not flashable zips...
They are MetaMorph themes, you need to use MetaMorph to install them.
These are not working in metamorph..
The wifi or battery files didnt apply on virtuous rom. Installed.with latest metamorph. Rebooted and no.changes.

Hopefully you done a backup first.
I done some research and Virtuous Rom has a different framework than Skyraider 3.5 and SuperZ ROMs.
It looks like I should have done some more research before posting these.
Restore from your backup and then try this file for the WIFI, it should work for you.

Well I got it to work using ninjamorph by manually inserting the wifi pngs into the framework.apk. What I noticed about the battery pack is that your script isn.t inserting the png's into the right folder. The icons look great though good work.

You have in your instructions that they work for Sense roms but I just installed the Red mod. battery on CM6.1 so like you said metamorph is funny like that.
I can't get the wifi one to work.. running Uber Z sense rom..
Different ROMs use different framework structure.
I just checked the UberZ ROM and here is what you need to do to make it work.
Go to the theme folder and rename the "drawable-hdpi" folder to "drawable-hdpi-v4"
Then it should work.

I cannot flash this.. I think that this is not even flashable zip: it not include android sign's.. Can you cimpile this for me? I am using HTC Desire HD phone with Android Revolution 2.0.3a. I will donate you if you success port Fancy Battery Green for me!

It will add different icons to Default Lock screen like in Screen Shots ...
Since You guys Started Taking some interest.. I will Give you a guide on how to do it..
1) Download and Install 7zip application HERE
2) Extract framework-res.apk from your ROM located in system/framework and copy it to Desktop for easy access..
3) Download this SampleTheme_SilverGOLD.zip ... You will know by the names of PNG files what each do.. Incase u dont know check screenshots in next post..
Modify the sample PNGs according to your taste. You can use this to Edit. For Editing you can use ONLINE TOOL or use your Own PNG Editor. Remember to keep image file size (162 X 162)
4) Once You have edited PNG Files, Open framework-res.apk by right clicking and Open Archive with 7zip and Paste the PNG files in res/drawable-hdpi folder by directly dragging files to it as its easy way..
5) Copy the Modified framework-res.apk by
Pushing via ADB
OR
Copy to SD card and using Root Explorer or ES File manager copy to system/framework folder and change permissions to R-R-RW
6) Enjoy!!

Man... i wish i was as good as you are... ..
i don't know what's the taste of people...really hard to guess... I spent atleast 5 hours to look for icons on web and resize and incorporate them coz i was totally new to theming stuff...
well i m it out of it for now due to lack of positive feedback ....
atleast it will open doors for others who want to try themselves...
Will upload source files and method of how to do it so that people can do that themselves...

I do appreciate the work that you have done so far.
Taste is different on each person.
Neutral ones are always nice for a lot of people.
A method would be nice so that some people can make that special ones.

How come everytime i put the framework file in te framework folder my phone restarts and then get stuck at the rom logo.
I then have to flash my rom again to get my phone started.
I did everything you said on the how to.
Maybe you know the anwser.

i hope you are not using framework.res.spk file from some other ROM.. Extract it from the ROM you are running... incompatibility issues can cause it
Secondly, makes sure it's png file format... find the files in my sample zip inside your framework file with same name... Use them as your base and edit them... Don't resize any png file and save uncompressed.. Should work easily...

I just had the same. I thought I had previously had it working with a 4.0.3 based ROM but maybe not ...... re-flashing the ROM now
And don't forget to set permissions correctly...

Looks good and is running well with OrDroid 2.0. Thanks for the theme. A nice battery % mod would be cool and a center clock mod would be money bags, but I realize these things aren't so easy to do. Much appreciated.

I tried to make the zip....I failed XD when I flash says install aborted...
SO I put manually the systemUI in system/app
the statusbar is right there but I have no toggles and no aosp settings menu
I think I messed up something...this is just a statusbar mod, not for the settings menu
And will be updated fashion with Advanced Power Menu?
