ARHD 4.1.4 Sense 3.5 - Home Panels Keeps Switching - HTC Sensation

Hi there,
Have tried to find a solution to my problem but haven't found anything.
I've currently got 6 panels on Sense 3.5 and have my most used apps/widgets on the main panel which I would like to have come up when I press the home button.
Now this had been working fine for since I got the phone but just last night my home screen changed to the panel to the left of the one I want. On top of this the wallpaper changes resolution and I lose the stock battery widget.
Very odd, everything else is easily fixed but can't for the life of me figure out how to set the Home Panel back to the original one without deleting a whole panel of apps/widgets and moving the ones from the original to the new random home panel.
Hope that all makes sense, any help is welcome
Thanks.

Home panel changes in Sense 3.5 ARHD
I don't think anyone replied to this person's question, but I came across it as I was looking for a solution to the same problem for my rooted Inspire 4G. However, since I couldn't find any other info on it, I just re-booted the phone (which is what I should have tried in the 1st place). The home panel reverted back to normal, and everything is vanilla.
Hope this helps someone else..

[q] android notifications bar

I am having problems with the swipe down Notification bar on my Desire HD. I would have posted it in there, but this is a general problem, as I have seen it on several android phones in other forums. However, the ones I have seen are all HTC. Whether this is a manufacturer related issue I do not know.
Put quite simply; it won't slide down in portrait. But when I switch to landscape it works perfectly fine.
One of the suggestions was to use Draw Pad and see if there were any deadspots on the touchscreen. So I go nuts, and find a bar about half an inch on the top of the screen that isn't responding, unless I flick upwards quite quickly. But it's not a deadspot, as when I'm using that part of the phone in landscape it works perfectly. I can also swipe down in landscape from the corner (top right) perfect as well. So I would say it can't be the hardware.
The last time the notification bar worked was when I was in Tweetdeck, and swiped like mad through a load of tweets to class them as 'Read'. I've since uninstalled Tweetdeck, restarted my phone (both by using Restart and by removing the battery), and returned the phone to Factory Settings, but nothing works.
I understand that I can install a ROM as a last resort, but I am pretty sure that there must be an app that can reset the touchscreen calibration or something similar, to reset the dimensions of the screen when it's in portrait, or a hidden setting that can reset it. My phone isn't rooted, so I would much rather fix the problem, rather than overwrite it to save the extra work when I wouldn't really appreciate a rooted phone with a custom ROM.
I am running Android 2.3.3 with HTC Sense 2.1. My Kernel Version is 2.6.35.10-gd2564fb | htc-kernel(at symbol)and18-2 #1. The build number is 2.50.405.2 CL87995 release-keys.
(The (at symbol) is because I am new and outside links are forbidden for new users)
My phone isn't rooted, however I am not averse to doing so if it helps solve the problem. I have minimal experience with the Terminal, however, so if it is required, I could do with instructions rather than 'do X and Y'.
Thanks, and sorry for the wall of text.

[Q] Sensation Lock Screen Issue

I posted a while back on how my Sensation with ARHD 3.6.7 had an issue with the lockscreen where it wouldn't show any of my shortcuts or the clock and it only showed the ring. I superwiped and flashed 3.6.7 again and it showed all of my lockscreen but when I restarted the phone, it got rid of the shortcuts and clock again. Any help?
Mine is doing this too, but with InsertCoin. Truly odd.
Sorry to bring this thread back to life. I have seen a few videos on YouTube. I think there was a specific Sensation model that often had this problem. Resolved now, through OTA.

Screen problem when locking/ unlocking *not usual touchscreen issue*

Hi All,
I have looked around for a similar problem but could not find anything.
I have a problem with my screen on my HTC Sensation. I was using Virtuous ROM but when this started happening, I wiped with superscript and switched to Insertcoin ROM and the problem actually became worse.
When I lock my phone with the Power button, instead of the screen turning black instantly, the bottom and top of the screen slide up and meet in the middle (like a transition that you put inbetween chapters in a home made movie).
The same happens when I unlock the phone.. and it's very annoying and of course very slow.
I can't work out if it's hardware or not. I just recently edited the build.prop file (only removed the '#' from the screen capture line- which worked, didn't touch anything else)... and now when I unlock, the font and app icons seem a little enlarged and blurry.. then once I slide between screens and back it goes to normal.
I'm a noobie and would appreciate the help.
Thanks
Ginox
I always thought is was on purpose
No, this is very exaggerated and slow. Usually the phones screen goes off reasonably quick when you lock the phone (and vice versa with unlocking).
It sounds like you are describing the CRT animation for locking and unlocking, like an old TV turning on/off. Some ROMs include this by default. If the phone is running slow/sluggish it can look poor and cause other issues like the funky looking icons.

Hmm, it doesn't seem like that kind of problem... my phone runs reasonable fast.
Here's a video of it:

Can't direct link, please copy and paste.
Yup, thats the CRT animation, that's what its supposed to do. It must have been included with a ROM you installed by default. Like I said, its meant to look like you are turning on or off and old tube type television or computer monitor. Someone might have a flashable file out there for you to remove it, I don't know. At least now you can search "remove CRT animation" or something and see what you can get.

Oh really, thats interesting as I was pretty sure it done something similar on the previous Virtuous Rom.
Does anyone else out there have this feature on their Insertcoin ROM? (I've only ever had stock, Virtuous and Insertcoin).
I will have a search but if anyone knows the fix, please let me know

[Q] Anyone has fix thw sabsa rime 8,5 home screen number issue?

Till now rom runs good, with no issue at all, just the known one before, the fallout menager works onley on quck setings on status bar, nothing else, i
Can not see Why can not be fixed home screen number issue , the the Fall out rom has allredy work home numbers from 3 to 9, exept you can not manage wich h.screen will be your default, does not work two finger option to see all home screens and add or remove option,
Fallout has sense 4a from HTC one v, sabsa prime has sense 4.1 (lite) from desire x. If you don't see why it can't be fixed, why don't you fix it?

[Q] Wallpaper glitching?

Hi there,
I searched for this but could not find anything, so my apology if I overlooked it somewhere.
Just bought my Galaxy SIII through Verizon, Android version 4.0.4 ICS. Everything is still stock except for changing the wallpapers on the homescreen and lock screen (both different). Here's my issue and it seems to be off and on. If I hit the home button, regardless of whatever app or screen I am on, the wallpaper will glitch and seem to "offset" itself for a brief moment. This results in some blurred/granular stuff on each side. So far I've turned off the animation and transitions in the developer option, and turned off S Voice wake up when hitting the home button twice. I also tried reverting my wallpapers back to the stock wallpaper. Nothing has seemed to fix this problem as of yet. It's not lagging the phone performance, but it's annoying and look like ****.
Anybodye give me some help on how to address/fix this issue? Thanks in advance for any help.
Tom
Anybody??
