Unroot failed, now phone is stuck in Fastboot loop - Android Software/Hacking General [Developers Only]

Hi Guys,
my HTC Desire GSM is stuck in Fastboot and won't boot into the ROM. The background to this issue is that I installed S-Off and then ClockworkMod and flashed Cyogenmod 7 to see if it would fix a reboot issue on the phone. The damn thing just reboots itself when the CPU is used heavily...
Anywho, after realising that Cyogen wouldn't resolve the issue I flashed the standard Virgin UK rom back over it and upgraded to 2.22.351.2 via the system update feature. The problem was that ClockwordMod was still installed and I had to get rid of it to sent the phone off for repair to Virgin!
So I did further research and found that I could flash HBoot via the AlphaRev.nl downgrader tool. I downloaded it and popped it into the root of my SD card and it flashed the bootloader back to Hboot 0.80.0000. That should have been it, but all of the sudden the phone no longer boots into the Rom. All it does is to power on and then go into Fastboot. That's it! When I try putting the standard Virgin Rom back onto the SD it tries to load it and then says "Main Version is older!" "Update Fail!".
How do I get around this now? The phone doesn't boot, so I can't re-flash S-Off and start again, not am I able to run the stock Virgin Rom within Windows because it complains about the versions.
Is there any ways around this situation? I just want to get the phone back to stock so I can send it to Virgin and get it repaired.
P.S. I *have* used the search function and spent the last 4 hours testing various things but I'm now stuck.
Cheers Guys!
Mich

[Q] G1 with original SPL, no recovery and wrong network provider, what now?

Hi everybody,
I did something stupid. I had a Cyanogen 6 running on my G1 for about 2 weeks. Today it suddenly started to reboot itself without my ingerence. It went into a boot loop. I wanted to go to recovery and flash a different rom but it didnt go to recovery just hanging up on the g1 logo boot screen.
Now the stupid part:
I read somewhere that I can go into bootloader and flash a different DREAIMG.NBH to run the recovery again - I did that. I flashed RC7 and now my SPL went to original and the recovery is gone.
I boot up the phone and it seems to be some 1.5 I think. The problem is that it wants to connect to T-Mobile while its not available in my country and it doesnt let me get pass through the google account setup. I cant sign in or create a new one since T-Mobile is not available in Poland.
I can't use the phone.
What can I do now? How to fix it? Help.
Thanks,
Chris

[Q] T-mobile HTC HD2 ROM issues, lots of details.

Hey everyone I am having some trouble with my friends HD2.
He installed HSPL3 with 2.08.hspl
Then Magldr 1.10
Then installed android 2.2 ROM
Everything worked fine, made phone calls, texts, all that except 3g didn't work but I am assuming that was because he didn't install a radio?
Now, heres where I am stuck.
He told me he used the phone for awhile without 3g.
Yesterday he turned off the phone before school and turned it on after school.
-The phone started to fail to boot up in multiple ways
-It sat at the stick together screen
-Got to MAGLDR 123456 go go go (would get stuck there sometimes)
-Got fully booted up and would search for a signal and freeze
-Or it would fully boot up and work normally until he had to restart it again
Now he told me this is what he did when he got home from school
-He opened magldr and did a usb flash
-opened bootloader and tried to reinstall android
-got two errors
-could no longer boot passed Magldr
I recommended he switched back to a shipped ROM from t-mobile it was the (3.14 update)
He told me he tried it, got to 8% and failed, and now he gets an error along the lines of:
-software update failed please try again
He gets that whenever the phone started up.
Now I said oh lord that sucks, now I have the phone.
-The phone is still on 2.08 hspl
-magldr 1.10 still installed
-Just did a USB flash
What do I do? I have tried looking at guides to install android but seeing as how there is no ROM on the phone anymore I can't do an SD install.
How do I tell if my phone is 512mb or 1024mb?
Is the phone bricked?
I currently have the Android 2.2 that my friend installed on the phone installed on this computer should I continue to use that?

[Q] Stuck in recovery boot loop HTC Desire GSM ~ ASSISTANCE APPRECIATED!!

Severe panic!!
I rooted my Desire which was running 2.2 Froyo on the O2 UK network using unrevoked and it worked fine without any issues. Custom recovery by ClockworkMod.
The next day I then decided i needed to turn S-off so found a guide and tried installing unrevoked forever from a zip on the root of the SD and i got 'installation aborted error 42'. Tried again the next day but before i got started i decided to give myself re-assurance that i wouldnt lose anything on the device so i entered recovery and chose restore.
Big mistake! My handset then rebooted and got to the O2 splash screen. It wont move from there. Pulled battery out and tried again. Same. I assume i havent bricked the device and it is just stuck in a boot loop?
Since then i have removed all my user data from the SD card and 'cleared storage'. Tried installing an miui rom and again 'installation aborted'.
Can anyone clarify why this is happening and point me in the right direction?
I am a noob and would appreciate any help on this.

[Q] HTC One S stuck on logo screen

I tried to upgrade my phone to 4.4.2 TwistedKat, but after a while i decided i didnt like it and deleted the zip file from the phone completely and attempted to reboot my phone. I tried to relock it but when i did the phone never turned back on. When i unlocked it again it would go back to TwistedKat and i really just want my old JellyBean back. Now when i turn the phone on it stays on the logo screen with the red writing saying this build is for development purposes. I could not really find any RUU to use and im still searching but having no luck. Please help
EDIT: Its a T-Mobile HTC One S. I can also still go to the hboot screen and
clockworkMod Recovery
Ok i ended up being able to bring back the TwistedKat 4.4.2 version, but i would still like help in returning my phone back to the OS it was. Can anyone help?
if you are s-on, did you flash boot.img ?

Softbricked Falcon XT1032

Hello guys.
I apologize for making yet another "my phone is soft-bricked" thread, but I have been through at least 20-25 of the other threads, seemingly tried everything, and I can't get past my problem. Also, most of the other threads I saw are pretty old and not really active anymore. A few of the tools there can't even be downloaded anymore because the links are dead.
Anyway, here's my story.
I have a 16 GB US retail XT1032 that I bought mostly to give tech support to my parents, whom I also bought a 8GB each. Theirs, I left untouched. Mine, I unlocked bootloader and rooted right away. All went well for a long time.
My parents kept receiving OTA's and it took them all the way to Lollipop. Me being rooted, I got stuck in KitKat somewhere (I'm not 100% sure whether that was in 4.4.2 or 4.4.4), but since it wasn't my daily driver, I let it lie as stock rooted KitKat. Recently I wanted to go to Lollipop in order to keep seeing "the same things" as my parents, and I installed TWRP in preparation to flash a "stock enhanced" version of Lollipop. TWRP flashed fine but there was something funny all along: I could use ADB or a root app to boot into recovery from the ROM, but I could never manage to get the phone to go into recovery by booting into fastboot (vol down+power) and then choosing recovery. Screen would go black and recovery would never load.
So I copied a "stock" Lollipop image and booted into TWRP from the ROM and wiped everything and tried flashing the Lollipop ROM. It got stuck somewhere part way, and a few hours later there was no more progress.
Ever since then, I am stuck in fastboot. Fastboot seemingly works correctly, recently I was able to flash an OG animation to get rid of the nasty "your bootloader is unlocked" warning. I can flash recoveries (TWRP and/or CWM) without error on the phone or the computer, but when I try to then boot into recovery using the bootloader, I get stuck on the black screen and go nowhere.
As others in the various threads have commented, when I try to boot "normally", I get the boot animation and a vibration and then it gets stuck.
I have tried so many things by reading different threads I couldn't tell you anymore what all of them were. I've gotten errors about downgrading, I've gotten stuck in fastboot reason: "failed flash", I've gotten flashing errors about the size of recovery or boot or gpt. What I've never managed to do again is to boot into anything other than bootloader. No recovery and no ROM.
Could someone with a bit of experience please point me to some working links and/or when you have the time, help me look at a couple of logs or something that can help me figure out where my problem lies and how to get out of it? my daily driver phablet died a gruesome death and I wanted to go back to my trusty moto g, to no avail.
Thank you very much to whomever can help.
Ruben.
Try to reflash full stock firmware for your device according to your bootloader version. Hope it helps....
Try typing in fastboot devices
