Anyone bought this 32 gb Micro Sd Card from ebay. I just got in the mail and so far so good my transfer rate from PC to SD a 360mb file is 4.60mbps while the regular sandisk 8gb is 6.20mps. Its cheap so wasn't surprise . Anyone else

CAN SOME MOVE THIS TO THE ACCESSORIES SECTION ,SORRY
i think Its cheap coz the class less than 6
maybe 4
the most important is the class
class 10 will be the best
its class 4
I bought one and got ripped off. It was labeled 32gig but it was only 4.

lol that sucks
but anyways, 32gb, whatever class it is, for $29 isnt bad
class 4 is good enough for a mobile phone. If you just use it to store mp's/photo's.
Higher then class 4 is only interesting when filming/photographing on a high resolution and thus need a high read/write speed.
Anyway, $29 for 32 gig is a very nice price!!
Still... don't know why this in the dev. forum

I bought a SD card and a thumb drive. Both turned out to be fakes from China. The 32 GB thumb drive only held 14 GB of data and was flaky at that. The SD card was slow and was also unbranded. I would be very careful about what data you save to it. It might just go south on you.
Keep an eye on sales ads. I just got a 8GB class 10 micro SD at bestbuy for $19.99
**This is in the dev thread because it was a mistake on the OP part. He asked for it to be moved, but the MODs have not done so. I suggest sending them a PM bro. Might get a better response.
There are free programs, like h2testw, you can download to test the sd cards and usb drives. I purchased one a while ago that was supposedly a 32gb, and windows detected it as a 32gb. I tested it and it was really 1GB.
BE REALLY CAREFUL INDEED,
I bought exactly the same 2 weeks ago on Ebay, same packaging exactly, about same price.
It was a fake that was only 2Go, with a ridiculous transfer rate of 2.2Mo/sec with downs to 150ko/sec
So I bought another one 32Mo, branded, class4, more expensive of course! (I also think we don't really more than class 4 unless your're really impatient when transferring big files from your PC to your SD card. Class 4 is already enough for the Sensation HD recording, and having class 10 wouldn't speed up any app except for some benchmarks that take SD card write/read into account)
Check microcenter. I picked up a 16 gig class 10 today for $28+tax... Well worth the price.

I took a chance on one of these. The seller has 100% positive feedback and has sold a ton of them. So hopefully it works out. He also will fully refund my money if it doesn't work. So reward outweighs the risk.

Sandisk is good. I've had one thats about 5 years old and it still works like a champ!
I bought a 16GB SanDisk class 4 on Amazon for $26. If you're going to transfer a lot of HD video back and forth from the SD card, then I suggest something higher in class, but for everything else class 4 is A-OK.
I like Adata, have my class 6 from them for a while now with no errors or anything. Going to get a 16GB class 10 soon.
I got a 16GB and I keep 6 movies on my phone and still have plenty of room. Also I have a Few mp3's.

Check out my thread in the Sensation Accessories forum

I have several 8GB and 16GB Class 10 cards from AData and I love them, all of them have great performance, average transfer rates of 14MB/s...
Just picked up a Patriot on ebay, class 10, 16GB. Writes @ 12Mb/sec Reads @ 7Mb/sec
Best is the lexar class 10 32gb sdhc.
Little pricey at around 90 but well worth it. Had mine since may. Fast read write and no errors.the cheap ones can get errors and burn out.
Sent from my LG-P999 using XDA App
I also have the Lexar class 10 32GB...super fast and tons of space. Paid about $100 for mine at Microcenter but you can probably find it cheaper elsewhere...I'm a big fan of instant gratification lol.
Sent from my LG G2x using Tapatalk
Another lexar here. I think I got mine for $85. There was another thread like this going a while back that had a link to it. I'll see if I can find the website. Phone runs great. I have 10gigs of music and use torrents alot. Haven't ran out of room yet and don't even really need to worry about it. Plus with the mod roms most stuff is a2sd now and the phone runs better with class 10 sd
I thought anything higher than a class 6, you are pretty much wasting your money since most phones don't support class 10.
Sent from my LG-P999
I think 32GB is too much, then again, that's just me. I personally use an 8GB Class 6 SanDisk MicroSDHC Card. Got it for about $13 on Amazon

I've used their memory in a couple computers I've worked on and none have died
Class 10 cards are frequently on sale for like 5-10 dollars more. I'd get the class 10.

Just a tip in case others haven't thought about it....
My oldest wanted an iPod touch for music, apps and what not. He wasn't old enough for his own phone in my opinion so instead of shelling out 180 bucks for 4th gen 16gb touch we got him a phone like mine (Virgin mobile HTC one v) and a 32 GB SD card/nice case for 100. I just didn't activate it but he can still get apps on wifi plus use the beats audio to pump out tunes. A much cheaper alternative to the smaller mem can't replace the battery iPod touch.

sounds like a good idea. I myself am doing the same thing with an LG optimus net that I got for $20. The only problem that I run into is having enough on board storage for apps, as apps do not typically install onto the sd card by default and many are not capable of being transferred over.
If you live near a Fry's, which sadly I don't
This is a UHS 3 card Pro+, not Pro. This card is over $80 most places, and is one of the fastest cards on the market.

Anyone found a good deal on 128GB sd cards in the UK?
Most of them I found are all 50+ quid. I should've bought the Sandisk card when it was 38.99 last month.
How good of a deal are we talking here? I found these two cards on Amazon with similar specs for the same price or cheaper. Curiously, I don't see this Samsung card on Amazon.

UHS 3 typically means it will actually reach and maintain theoretical speeds (e.g. 95/90 MB/S Consistently) this will be great for Android M and photo taking and 4K videos.

So is the Samsung card linked in the first post. Look at the Fry's website. It says UHS-1 grade 3 (which is what the U with the 3 in it on the card must refer to). But the two I linked on Amazon are also UHS-1 grade 3.
According to Wikipedia, there is no such thing as UHS-III or UHS-3, but there is UHS-I grade 3, which is what I think you're thinking of and what these cards are. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Secure_Digital
