GSM version of Galaxy Prime - General Questions and Answers

The Tmo bands for 4G are 1700/2100, correct?
Would this work on 4G on Tmo USA?
http://www.wirelessgoodness.com/201...a-nexus-prime-for-690-from-negri-electronics/
This would certainly be anyone's guess. But would anyone be willing to give their best guess as to when Tmo would come out, if at all, and if this would be before?
Thank You
Eric

Thank you in advance. I heard from a place in UK that the unlocked version comes out the week of 11/7
I would love to get but i am hearing that if I get a discount especially, the SGS2 is better hardware wise and in several months will probably have ICS?
Thoughts on that with whether it unlocked will work on Tmobile AND then also ATT if and only if the merger happens.

Where can I find Nexus S i9020A AT&T compat. version?

I want to buy a nexus S that will work in Europe. I am in the US so I want to buy it here. I am pretty sure I need the i9020a which is compatible with AT&T 3g. I simply cannot find any at a reasonable price. I found many tmobile versions that are good. For example, amazon has one listed for about $400.(i am a knew user so can't post links but its easy to find).
That has the i9020t code which means tmobile. However the people who ordered claimed they got random versions. So it seems that it is all a mess. Other sites will claim tmobile version but then have the AT&T bands listed which also makes no sense.
Also, I want to get the version with super amoled. I think the i9023 is lcd.
So please, if you know of somewhere where I can get a nexus s that works on AT&T 3g and has superamoled, please let me know. I would love to pay $400 but anything below $450 is of interest.
Thank you very much and I hope this thread is useful to others as well.

the i9020a just got announced for AT&T, this Sunday is the release date.
Give it a little time after that, and you should be able to get good pricing in the US.

GSM nexus phones aren't sim locked so they work anywhere that they are network compatible. As long as the one you are looking at is a i9020t you are fully good to go with uk 3g speeds but if it a i9020a you will be stuck on 2g speeds.
If its a nexus s 4g dont bother that's sprint cdma/wimax ONLY.

Any idea about Verizon Note Edge!!

Hey guys anyone heard any update on verizon note edge. Its passed through FCC about a week ago and still no update from Verizon:crying: . thus anyone heard anything on when we can get our hands on it.
Also for someone who is really impatient like me, can i buy a mobile or att edge and run on verizon ( Provided i unlock it) and ge LTE. I know samsung has both gsm and cdma radios but does it also support Verizon lte spectrum ?
Hopefully we get an update from verizon soon

From another post they said maybe looking mid Dec. Who knows though. Verizon is last on everything! I've thought about jumping ship to sprint and getting unlimited there for 60per month but I hear bad things about the CS there. One verizon rep told me the other day that they were improving the battery for the edge to compete with the droids battery life. He said if that's true he was waiting to get the edge. Hopefully just a couple more weeks cause I've been waiting on this phone for about 2 years now. Samsung is supposed to be releasing a bendable display for 2015 http://www.phonearena.com/news/Sams...eils-5.7-unbreakable-bendable-display_id48046
Dammit. I have the 4 already, but will get the Edge. Hurry up Verizon...........
With all the phones sold over bkack friday weekend and a 14 day return policy I doubt we will see it before mid to late December as already stated.
Just an educated assumption.

U.S. Cellular

I'm planning on pre-ordering the phone very soon, but have one question: will it work in America? I'm going to Florida - for 2 weeks - in December and while the phone won't have any issues with cellular bands in UK, I'm not sure if this can be said in America.
Possible carries are Verizon, Sprint and T-Mobile. Can someone answer this for me, so I won't have to worry about getting a budget phone just for the trip there?
Hi
I can suggest you should go into the link and i will hope you will get your answer .here is the link(http://www.amazon.com/Sony-Unlocked-International-Warranty-Original/dp/B00AXXOXKW ) . Thank you

[Q] Verizon S7 on AT&T

Not sure if this should be here or in the the Verizon S7 forum. I have an offer for a Verizon S7 at a really good price, but long term I think I want to stay with AT&T for compatibility reasons. Does anyone know if the Verizon S7 can be set to make use of all of AT&T's bands? I've seen conflicting answers on if it would be possible or not. Then again, maybe I should just bite the bullet and switch carriers, but I'm not quite ready to do that.
Any input would be appreciated. Thanks

All of the US phones have the same chipset which means all of the phones should have the same bands available . It is up to the carrier to decide which one to use and I believe there shouldn't be much difference between carriers, although I don't live in the US so I may not be 100% correct. So the best place to post this thread would be at the Verizon forum, because this one is meant for the international version.
From what I've experienced it's not to terribly bad, and from what I've read verizon doesn't have support band 12 and 29, which AT&T uses band 12 predominantly which sucks but what are our other options at the moment?
