[Q] htc hd2 spb diary not changes small weather icon in today (spb diary) plugin - General Questions and Answers

Hi,
I looked everywhere, but could not find a solution. Hope for help here.
I have:
HTC HD2 Win Mobile 6.5
Spb Pocket Plus
Spb Diary
Spb Weather
(Spb latest versions)
Problem:
When I tab a configurated City in Spb Weather Plugin, everything works, but the small weather icons in Spb Diary Plugin (Calender View) don't change.
They only always show the weather of one city, I configured at first.
Tabing on a different City in Spb Weater Plugin does have no effect on the small icons in the Diary plugin.
Thanks for helping.
Thomas

Hello,

HTC Touch Diamond weather modification

I want to be able to access my own city in the weather xml that comes with the touch diamond. There are not any cities close enough to mine that have similar weather. Is it possible to modify or upgrade the HTC weather program to have custom cities?
I downloaded SPB weather plug in but it does not open the program without downloading the spb shell. Is there a workaround for that issue?

anyone using spb mobile shell and sbp weather?

Odd thing, but I've got both of these apps on my TP. I do love the funkyness of TF3D but it's just not functional enough for me so I've installed the above.
On the Now screen there is a weather indicator on the top left corner. which today shows as cloudy. On the weather application on the main screen (5 day forecast) I get a different forecast. Surely they should be the same??
can anyone else with these two apps confirm if they see the same thing.
thanks
I have both running and have integrated SPB Weather into the the SPB Tab. Maybe you need to have a look at SPB Mobile Shell settings --> Tabs tab and make sure Spb Weather is there.
It could be that it is using some other old data from another Weather application ?
I actually use both together too, I think mobile shell has its own weather utility for which you can set the location and it is from this utility that the information displayed comes from. I have never tried to get the now screen to access the info from spb weather.
Personally speaking I also prefer turning tf3d off and use a combination of today plugins, i.e. spb pocket plus, mobile shell, diary, weather, devstate etc. This combination suits my needs better but each to their own I suppose.
hmm..odd....hopefully I explained correctly as I can't find any other settings
I have weather integrated on the SPB Tabs, (not realy much point in doing this though as the weather is displayed on the today screen and I don't need a tab to access it).
So, on the Now screen when you turn the phone on, across the top I have a small weather forecast, and then the notifications for email text and phone calls.
below this is the time date and then below this appointments etc.
if I close the now screen and I'm on the today screen, I have the date, then 4 tabs, then appointments, then my 5 day weather forecast.
I just can't work out why the two forecasts are different. I only have one city set up so I can't see it getting this data from anywhere else
What about in the Customize Now Screen, is SPB Weather ticked there?
As billu said, Spb Mobile Shell might have it's own weather and therefore this would explain the difference in reports, seeing as one is updated and the other is not.
Sorry just checked, I gave duff info in the last post, the now screen does take the info from spb weather. If you touch the weather symbol from the top left hand corner of the now screen the weather application comes up as you say. Then click the icon shaped like a gear near the bottom right (i.e. settings) and voala, spb weather configuration menu comes up. If you have multiple cities configured the topmost selected will be displayed. You can move cities up and down through the list. On my device the now screen weather info is consitent with spb weather's.
My reference to to mobile shell's own utility only applies to a tab available in mobile shell's today plugin.

How can S2U2 show spb weather 2.x

Is there anyway to make S2U2 displaying weather information from spb weather 2.x?

Start " S2U2 Settings " and scroll down until you see : Today's Weather forecast from : Select Option 1, which is Spb Weather
didnt work for me.

From S2U2 v1.62 FAQ:
"S2U2 only supports Spb Weather 1.x (not 2.x; not Traveler; not Shell), Weather Panel, Pocket Weather, HTC Weather,
User-defined Weather and HTC Manila 2D & 3D Weather."

Yes, but please don't lose spb weather 1.x
SPB weather 2.x sure, but please don't lose 1.x -- 2.x is a memory hog and I reverted back to 1.7

Can someone explain how to get S2U2 to show weather?
I've enabled the setting in the software to use SPB Weather 1 (I use 1.7) and also I believe there is a registry STRING key, UserWeather, that has to be created?
Please help someone?
Thanks
Wayne
Same problem... I use SPB Weather 2.3
Can we use 'user weather' to get the information from SPB Weather 2?
If so how?

[Q] Spb time clock to mobile shell lifestyle?

Hi
I have spb time and spb mobile shell, and i am wondering if i can use some of the clocks from Time and put them to the homescreen lifestyle on mobile shell?
I think the clocks on time are so much nicer than the default clock on lifestyle.
Would be nice if anyone can help.
