Hi guys, just tried to install this mod for the evo3d, 3.0sense rom. Not on sense 3.0 still flash without errors, not sure if its working or not i , but didn't see any beats icon or settings, im on 2.2 stock rom with x99 kernel, and i think its sounds better but not sure, any help would be appreciated thanks

Well your in the shift forum but from the looks of the op you linked here, there should have been some beats icons installed so maybe something didn't go right

the issue its because this mod is for 2.3 ginger 3.0 sense and my shift is in stock 2.2, sense 1.0, but still it flashed tru recovery ok, and i think the audio sounds better but not 100% sure and no signs of icons or beats app or something. also read on original thread samething happen to somebody else with other htc model and he confirmed it work ok , so i guess its working, i just wanna confirm if its working with other shift users

hopefully you can get someone willing to test, i just have other fatures built into those files and dont feel like breaking them features right now sorry man

I haven't read the OP linked just going off what I have read in reports. but even if the mod worked you wouldn't notice a difference unless you had a pair of beats headphones (im assuming you do)
I have beats headphones but didn't plug them in I don't see any icon or options in music for the beats is it just enhanced or should I notice an icon or setting somewhere?

edit: had to change the updater script, but all i get is a force close. Tried the FC-fix zip also and it still force closed. I'm on MikG 1.76 but it will probably work on NFX's Kingdom port, possibly Strapped's Supreme Sense
Read original thread and saw that it won't work on odexed roms and I think its only sense 3.0 music player, not sure which is included in MikG or supreme sense but both roms are odexed so a deodexed sense 3 Rom is what I've concluded you need for that mod

I have a question I am trying to find answers trying to learn.
I see different sense 3.5 Roma that have a different looking phone, app launcher and personalized button.
How would one pull that from one Rom and and put it in another Rom? (of course give credit to whom evers it is) but I don't post screenshots or anything.
Is it really hard or what. Thanks in advanced

i know it needs more then just the rosie.apk thats why i posted this i'm trying to find out what files need to be used to do this.
I know it can be done, i have seen roms that have done this.
Such as? I've not seen any ROMs taking Sense 3.5 onto a non-3.5 ROM. Seeing as The Bliss launcher is moved onto other ROMs I'd imagine it can be done BUT it's be a ball ache. Why do you awnt to do it anyway? Why use a newer Sense on an older Android build?

I'm not sure if you read my question wrong or we are confusing each other. I didnt say anythign about taking sense 3.5 onto a non 3.5 rom.
I meant that the bottom bars on some roms look different some are transparent some are darker some just look different all together and then you have the bliss launcher.
If i wanted to take one of them from a 3.5 rom and put it to another 3.5 rom what files would i need.
Ah right! IIRC then it is just the rosie.apk that you need, pretty sure I took a transparent one from LeeDroid for my own ROM when I was using 2.3.4. Might be wrong, though (might need some libs as well)

Well, did you bother to flash the add on that actually makes beats work? I mean I know you took the time to read the IC thread and thus you know its an add on and not included in the basic ROM. Do have headphones plugged in?

i tried to flash beats but i dont see any beats for 3.0 only 3.5 so i got into bootloop.

[MOD] Battery Percentage for ICS 4.0.1 AND 4.0.3 XE/non-XE "Senseless" and Sense ROMs
I know that a lot of people have been requesting this, so here it is.
I made the percentage using the Roboto font for good theming with the AOSP ICS taskbar, and the colors match the rest of the theme. I think it looks pretty good.
Let me know if anything doesn't work, and I'd be glad to test and fix it.
There is one file for the Virtuous ROM, and one for any other Senseless ROMs.
The "Senseless" versions will ONLY work on true "Senseless" ROMs, NOT roms which have been themed like AOSP ICS.
Make sure that you flash the correct version of the MOD for the version of your ROM base, 4.0.1 or 4.0.3.
They are NOT compatible with each other.
Also make sure you flash an XE or Non-XE version depending on which ROM you are running.
Battery Mods for the 4.0.3 Sense ROMs, for some reason, must be flashed after the initial boot and initialization of the ROM for the first time.
Battery Mods for the 4.0.3 "Senseless" ROMs will be made available once a senseless 4.0.3 ROM is released.
"Sense ICS Battery Mod" has been confirmed to work on ICS versions of:
ARHD
Insert Coin
RC Mix ICE
Elegancia ICS
Megadroid ICS
Will POSSIBLY work for ANY ICS Sense-Based ROM out right now. Please let me know if this is not the case.
The Sense ICS Battery Mod versions are themed like the stock Sense battery, but with percentages added.
The percentage will not show if your battery is at 100%, so if you think there may have been a problem with the flash, let your battery go down a bit from 100% before reporting.
MAKE SURE YOU NANDROID BEFORE TRYING ANY OF THESE, JUST IN CASE.
Clear Cache and Dalvik after flashing.
Enjoy.

ARHD Mod has been added to the OP.
Sadly the new AHRD version still hangs me at the Beats boot animation.
For me it's working great... Sense one...

I've tried it and it works fine. Some things to make sure of... since the updated file is the same filename as the old, broken one, make sure you aren't accidentally flashing the old version by mistake.
Also, make sure you clear dalvik and cache after flashing.
Lastly, make sure you are actually on ARHD. If you are running their non-sense script, it may not work properly.
Looks like it may be working now, I redownloaded it and reflashed and now it got past the Beats animation....cache loading....fingers crossed....whoo-hoo, thank you!!

Try the ARHD mod first.. there's a pretty good chance it'll work fine. Make sure to nandroid first.
If it does work, please let me know.

Actually, that has nothing to do with me. Anytime you apply an AOSP SystemUI.apk to a Sense rom at this time, you will get the network bars stuck at full always. Right now there's no workaround.
It's pretty much the only pitfall of having the AOSP notification bar.

Well, I would first get very comfortable with what you are doing and learn how to recover from any mistakes you might make. Make sure you are rooted and have clockworkmod recovery on your phone.
Also, the mods in this thread only work with Ice Cream Sandwich versions of the Sense software. If you don't have an ICS version, then you can find battery mods for other versions of ROMs HERE.

I am looking for a leaked sense 3.0 ruu.exe for the inspire 4g. I don't want a custom rom. I saw somewhere a ruu for sense 3.0 on my inspire. I have googled everywhere and can't find it. can someone please give me a link to it. thanks.
As far as I know there is no leak for the Inspire 4G. Closest we have is the 2.3.5 release for the Canadian Telus Desire Hd our identical twin.

He is, was, and it is working well. But although it is the Sense 3.0 ROM that the inspire should get, it is still not a RUU.exe and you will need a rooted phone to install it.

for your informatiion I have rooted my inspire before, but I don't like it because the sense roms aren't any good. zooming in the browser is buggy. I liked miui wp7 themed, but.... it's just. and all the ics roms aren't fully... which I understand, because it's something new and people have to work out all the bugs. but still my captivate i was constantly flashing roms, but I've messed up imei on it. and when I go to cm 7 it's fast but I end up missing sense. and I would love to have sense 3.0 or sense 3.5 rom, but they are buggy. the zooming in the browser isn't great. and memory runs out.
Well if you are rooted there are many Sense 3.0 and 3.5 ROMs on this forum. I am using the WCX Sense 3.5 v2.7 ROM and I experience nothing of what you speak. It looks like stock but is highly tweaked.
But as MMM-BACONSTRIPS mentioned, Gene Poole has the most stock version of the 3.0 Sense ROM available. It is closest you are going to get to what would be the stock 2.3.5 Sense 3.0 for the Inspire.

You can't botch up the efs partition on these phones without deliberately clearing the memory of the efs partition.
A Sense 3.5 ROM can be very quick if it's built right.
I'm looking to add ON / OFF Toggles into my notification bar for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc... I have already searched the forum and can't find exactly what I'm looking for, but know I've seen it out there before.

yep simple flash in 4EXT...but i recommend wiping cache + dalvik cache first

So yesterday I attempted to flash LeeDroidTweaks to upgrade it, come to find out the version in the link above is for Sense 3.6 and not 4.0. Not the best idea to flash it either, after installing and a reboot... my phone was stuck on the Elegancia boot screen for like 15 - 20 minutes or so.
Looks like the copy of LeeDroidTweaks thats in Elegancia is from the HTC One X. As it seems that it will no longer be published and has been removed for download. I believe it's only going to be supported if you have the One X ROM thats LeeDroid puts out.
Luckily I had a copy of the ROM still on my SD card, cleared cache and devlik... reflashed the ROM. After reflashing I was as good as if it had never happened in the first place.

Since those features aren't integrated into LeeDroidTweaks for the One X yet and since LeeDroid is no longer going to distribute an update for it w/ Sense 4.0 support...
Is there another tweak or tool that can place these toggles in my Notification bar that is compatible w/ Sense 4.0?

there is a working EQS on coindroid (its sense 4 Rom too)
you could try that...
but just in case do a nand backup
