Hello everyone i just started flashing my htc hd2 phone and it was doing ok but when i got to the part when im about to put the rom on my phone my laptop froze and i took my phone off from the usb and took off the battery now when i turn my phone on it goes to mgldr and its not sync to my pc and now i don't know what to do please help
i just realized that i posted this thread on the wrong discussion and im sorry because i was freaking out gonna go post this on the right one because i don't know how to delete this thread <-----noob T_T
Try doing a factory reset from magldr and see if that helps. Otherwise, look into flashing a ROM directly from your SD card. There's plenty of help about that in the HD2 development forums...

Just select the Android or Windows Phone forum - whichever is relevant - and do lots of reading in there.

Take johnc's advice. Also make sure u always have a backup no matter how little a change your doing to your phone. These phones are computers and you never know what can happen.

Hello Guys,
I have a Commtiva N700 which is dead. I mean completely dead, no boot.. nothing
When I press the power button I hear a buzz sound and then nothing happens. I am guessing its a software issue.
I was wondering if anyone could tell me about a compatible ROM to install on it.
Thanks in advance

Hey guys, I'm new here, so I hope I'm posting this in the right section.
I have been following steps posted in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2609560
I managed to reach point number 8, but when I try to restart my phone, it won't show any "FOTA set of red messages" neither Badadroid logo, just regular Bada 2 gets succesfully loaded. I have no idea what am I doing wrong.
So far I have been trying 2 Roms:
http://www.file-upload.net/download-9315108/cm-11-20140802-wave-poweroff.zip.html
https://yadi.sk/d/C1iIRo1tSVyVF
With both of them I copied related zImage to phone root directory and the whole zip to root directory of SD card.
Then I flashed BOOTFILES and FOTA using Multiloader, both succesfully (using this tutorial http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1732287)
https://yadi.sk/d/Yz7_dfpkC6TkC
https://yadi.sk/d/W4RjnjQRC6TfP
It still doesn't work, when I restart, just regular Bada loads. What should I do? Please help me, I am kind of new with this. Thank you in advance!
EDIT: OK, so I figured out that you have to hold END CALL + VOLUME UP to reach CWM. According to tutorial Badadroid logo should remain on the screen for like 5 minutes, but it's just a matter of second till I reach CWM. I installed Rom succesfully from ZIP, but when I restart the phone, it's Bada again :/

Hi,
You've provided me with all the links you need, so asking your questions in the relevant threads you need help with would be what to do now.
XDA Assist is here to help members navigate the site, not support. And you've navigated it already. ?
Good luck!

TY for reply, I didn't know that. I would like to ask in the specific thread, but I'm not allowed to since I am one of "New members (those with fewer than 10 posts)". :/
The way it works now... If you post in a development section, an automatic Q&A thread is created in the Q&A section.
So you can post there. ?
Thank you. Thread closed.
Hi, I recently bought a Sony Xperia Z2, at this time I'm very happy with my purchase, it's my first time with Android System, but I have a few questions
1. Which are the benefits of rooting?
2. If I do the rooting incorrectly I can restart to factory settings my tablet?. I mean I always had Apple's iOS, and if you do incorrectly the jailbreak you prees 10 seconds home button, then 15 home button and sleep button and the device automatically enters a mode that you just plug it to your computer and reset from iTunes, here with Android is the same?
3. If the thing above is possible, could you please explain me?, please
4. And at last also explain me how to root my device
Thank you, sorry for all my questions but I'm new in all these Android World
