[Q] Making the jump??

Ok I'm not a noob when it comes to flashing ROM's or using Odin to restore my Mesmerize at all. And i have been running the "unofficial" "ofiicial" Ec10 Froyo on my Mesmerize for a few weeks now. I have the Combo ROM installed with Voodoo installed. I want to know..is the new superclean ROM worth making the jump for or should i stay with the Combo ROM??

Only you can decide that. Personally, I am a big fan of the touchwiz launcher, so I will stick to touchwiz based roms.
If you are a fan of the AOSP (or any other) launcher, then I'd say your best bet is to make a backup and give it a try. If it turns out you like the combo better, it only takes about 15 minutes to revert.

Ok thanks..with the superclean ROM, is it completely AOSP? Or does it only have the launcher??

I'm pretty sure that it's just the launcher with some screen lock mods thrown in there. Not 100% sure on that though.

I always wanted to say that. Is this Rom the gingerbread rom with the EE03 modem? Could you make it a Ext/4 rom? Are you good with Kerneling if so will it have a custom Kernel as well? The stock Kernel always suck. Or will you work with somebody who does custom kerneling for this Rom. Let do it big!!!!! Could you make launcher pro the default launcher. Launcher pro is super fast and customizable. Also add these as well: No CIQ, CRT Overscroll/Screen Of Animations, GT Video Chat & Gps fix. Could you remove the bloatware and add some goodie just like Rob from the midnight rom. Thank you for all your hard work and working on this awesome rom!!!

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1089481 as the stock launcher instead of the market app. Not sure which one you used before, but I know the market app from Eugene373 is like grainy and not as cool on my phone. not sure if it's incompatibility with ee03 or what cuz I never tried it until I flashed it.

No New Themes

So, is it time to upgrade to the Galaxy S II since the themes and roms have slowed down? I love my phone but love themes too! Hope someone gets started on making new themes soon.

I think RaverX3X's octane 2.x Rom is based off MIUI, so flashing that would prettu much leave you with unlimited themes. I'm not sure if I'm right since I'm not using the rom.

We aren't done, yet. I know that krylon is working on cm7 and a gb based rom. Raver is workin on a brand new rom right now. Airfuip and the other devs also have some projects their working on. Even though its been dead, there's still hope.

Honestly I don't know if he'll start it up again or not. The amount of crap being slung in his direction today was ridiculous. Hopefully when things calm down he'll give it another go. It'd be a shame to see his miui work end end like this.

I've always been interested in a vanilla Froyo ROM for the phone. Since I know you're working on the CM ROM (great job, BTW) I was just wondering if that would be possible at all on this phone.
