I would be grateful if you could help to solve my problem...
I 've updated my pda's Rom S100 to a russian version 2.04(magician)..
Thought that was lighter than the previous..but the language it was a little problem for and also hadn't many fictions, i;m used to..Anyway.
I would like to install back the Qtek Rom which i have but i cant find a way that
it will works as a downgrade...(Qtek Rom version 1.1.13)..also does anyone how can i unlock the rom in order to install the first one???

hi, i have a problem,
i've flashed the device, but it hangs on while booting, when it says " tap the screen to setup your..." it seems touchscreen does not work.... or its driver is not the right one,
if i flash my qtek with original rom, touchscreen works perfectly... so no hardware problem.
my device is a qtek s100 64mb
any suggestion??

You should wait for ROM Generation 9.5. It will have this issue fixed.

no,you're not alone.
many CHS user have the same problem,happened at HW3 with Samsung LCM.
Cotulla have already fixed this issue since CHS_O2 and I have device tested and passed.
But now Cotulla have disappeared for several days........

This hotfix is about the wrong placement of GREEK characters on HTC SMS MESSANGING CLIENT on STOCK ROM 3.14.482.2 ELL
(Last Official ROM for GREECE) and now for 3.14.405.2 English/WWE
It's Unofficial but I received it directly from HTC GREECE-CYPRUS.
It solved my problem 100% on my Stock 3.14 GREEK ROM.

The Hotfix seems to be working only in Greek (ELL) 3.14 Rom. WWE 3.14 Rom gives "not compatible with your device" message.
thanks for sharing this. but may i ask you what problems did this hotfix fixed? right now, i only have problems if i use 3rd party sms apps and don't encounter any with htc messaging.
There is no problem with the English language.
The problem is with the Greek language when you typing sms (shuffled characters) and maybe on other languages except the English language.
Do not try it if you do not have problem when typing sms.
This hotfix is safe only for the Greek language and the latest official Greek ROM (3.14.482.2 ELL).

Those who have corrected the problem (except the 3.14.482.2 ELL that we know it's working) please indicate what version of ROM they used in order to help more people that have the same problem with their own language.

Sorry, but no good newz from me for the 3.14 WWE Rom after the test from member cagrotis.
Try to contact your local HTC support with e-mail form at HTC website. This is what i also did and i recieve the unofficial Hotfix. (after 2 months of waiting with the "Greeklish" sms...) Don't forget to mention what rom version and radio you use.
If you have good news from HTC, inform all the others here.

On my HTC with ROM: 3.14.482.2 (04666) ELL, it fixed the problem with the greek characters shown in wrong places, but I still cannot type in small greek letters. Only capitals. Any ideas

What should I do now? May try any rom from this forum? I need simple functionality as messaging and calling only - which szhould I use?

Just get eOS FiRE
After so many years it is still the best in stability and usability!
There is nothing useless in eOS FiRE because he didn't cook anything that's not necessary, while so many other roms are sooo outdated today with their old apps that are cooked-in and you can't remove. I think I flashed each and every rom I could find here and I always came back to eos fire, trust me on that if you too want clean and really stable rom.
I really cannot remember when last time I hard-reset my eos fire, 1-1.5 year ago or more
Go read entire rom's thread and you see from last version there are no problems with it at all, actully someone just posted thanks after 4 years hahahaha
edit - eOS FIRE supports Polish language too: (lol, I didnt knew!)

Hi guys, today I found the tutorial for begginers, to install froyo on omnia I8000, I allready have instaled froyo, I`ve used the automatic instalation package...I read on the tutorial for begginers runs better...
Do I have to hard reset before install froyo by this tutorial?
