Plz help me remember the name of an app (to do list integrated with maps) - Android Apps and Games

It was an app that let you create your to-do list along with locations and then it would map out the best route for you to take. I searched for it in the Market for quite a while but to no avail. The important feature here is the fact that it maps out your route for you. I remember it had been on a major "top apps" list but can't remember where. I got this app called "BestRoute" but that wasn't the one (battery hog).
Thanks in advance

[APP REQ] Navigation Assistant

Hello everyone! I am hoping I can either get some ideas on what I could install, or maybe inspire someone to develop an app
I am a frequent traveler and I started out in my job always bringing my phone, mp3 player and gps. I started consolidating and with my old Blackberry and ditched my mp3 player. When I got my Motorola Droid I was excited to ditch my gps as well!
The problem is I am so used to using my Tomtom. I would click navigate, find a destination either by entering in the address, or going to a point of interest and either searching for it specifically (like target) or looking at a list (like food).
With Google Navigation is there doesn't appear to be a defined "front end". I can use a massive amount of apps to get me there, like Yelp, YP, Where, Google Places, or just a Google Maps search it self.
What I would like to see is a front end application that allowed me to search points of interests either in my current location or a defined location. Let me save these as favorites, show me a history of where I have been and let me search for a POI along my current defined route (ie, finding food along my route between the airport and hotel).
There is a free app on the market called App Launcher and while it has some great ideas, it isn't it. Am I missing something obvious? What does everyone else do?
I use telenav for this. I get it free from Sprint. Otherwise there is a fee for it.
I prefer it better than google maps for this reason. It also makes it easier to control the route I wish to take to get there.

Google Maps and it's permissions.

I recently downloaded LBE Privacy Guard. It is a nice app that let's the user control what permissions your apps have. One of the features it has is that it can keep a log of the apps. I noticed in this log that google maps is accessing my location a few times an hour. I'm not sure what I should make of this. Is this something I should be concerned about? What do you guys think?

I wouldn't be concerned with it. Google's servers keep in contact with your phone for multiple reasons. Overall it is very non invasive and millions of ppl use it.
If I've helped you, please hit the THANKS BUTTON
Tasker is what kept maps looking up my location. I have a task set for when I'm at work. It kept looking to make sure I was there. I took that location out of the task and 'poof' maps didn't show up on that log any more.

Discover cool apps which fit your preferences/hobbies!

I've found is handy app called Appcurl and it basically finds the apps that are right for YOU. Instead of going to the Top 10 list of Google Play which has nothing to do with your preferences and needs it shows you the relevant apps to your lifestyle and preference instead. By the way, most of the apps in the Top 10 lists you already have installed anyway probably. This app shows you apps where you have probably not heard of yet and which will fit your lifestyle and hobbies.
I have discovered many apps for my fitness training and animal apps which I have otherwise have never found.
Thanks! Here are the links:

App Manager in Google Play still useless, any idea?

I have searched this forum and the web, still surprised about the poor integration of multiple devices in Google Play.
Can anybody tell me if there is any easy and fast way to transfer most of your app's to a new device?
I am amazed the lack of usability in this matter? Why is there not a column based page with all your registered devises from left to right and all the app's downwards, then a box to "tick" on each device to install or delete multiple app's in one go??? How hard can it be???
I know you can use Titanium but you need to be rooted and still go by each app individual or take all in one go, this do not make any sense since a newer device might not need all the app's.
On Google Play I can see all my app's and then install them one by one with a confirmation box for every one? long and boring task.
A column based set-up where you choose which app's to be installed on what device you have registered seems like a "no-brainer" to me but I have not been able to find anything that resembles that??
Does it exist and am I a knob or is this a major oversight by Google???
All suggestions are welcome.
Robert
The key here is you need to tell Google to restore your phone once you install an OS. If you did this, the Play Store automatically downloads all your previously installed apps.
Also, in Titanium you have the checkboxes on the side as you're asking for, you just deselect the checkboxes besides the red apps pretty much...

How can I make an app exactly like google earth, but can store saved locations?

Hello. My name is Marshall. I am completely new to programming and making apps, but I have decided to make an app.
I want to make an app that uses google earth, but can save locations with notes.
Would it be best if I used google earth for android and edited it so I can save my current location with notes?
The use of this app will be for foraging. Picture yourself out in the forest, and you find a large flush of choice edible mushrooms. I want to be able to pull out my phone, save my location, and add a note of what I have found, where I am. This way I can look up where I found it, and return to the location later. It would be supper cool if I could add photos to this saved location, and maybe even share the location with others?
I need to pointers as to how I would start to build an app like this. Would it be a google earth addon? Or a completely new app? Can a brand new app access the same 3D maps as google earth?
Any advice or answers would be greatly appreciated. I am good with computers, I just need some direction with this project.
Marshall
