Hell no. This phone is sooooooo much better. Better processor, has keyboard, bettery battery life, better camera. Its a superior phone.

what about for the s2

I would trade for the T-Mobile S-II in a heart beat.

I would keep the phone for you. I just traded the mytouch 4g slide for sensation 4g. And I like it but I also like the mytouch 4g slide also. so it was a hard decision to make cause really there the same phone inside so your not losing much there. Just think about it do what's best for you. Tell you the truth the guy that I traded with also wants the sensation back but I don't like Indian traders. It's only a phone so do you and get back to us and tell us how it's going

Hahaha epic Fail to start they both run the S2 Soc quailcom 1.2Ghz CPU and the sensation owns the Mt4gs Sensation 4.3 Qhd vs 3.7 wvga Sensation Gyro vs no Gyro now the one thing is the Camera on the MT is Killer but if someone is dumb enough to trade there sensation for your MT dooooo itttt asap.

I have had both. They actually have the same processor. The screen on the sensation is a lot better. Also stock 3.0 is better than mysense 3.0

I saw an ad in craigslist that is a trade my phone (mytouch 4g slide) for a g2x plus ill get a hundred dollars

Yes g2x has better support and actually costs more. Its all up to you id do it because I like the games....
But the support can change just sucks for the moment as far as the mt4g slide is concerned.

Yes that is worth it. The g2x had most of the hardware and software by now. My wife is getting the g2x tomorrow. It has awesome dev support and i will be deving for it as well now that my wife will have it. And it has access to NVIDIA tegra zone for games. Im actually jealious of my wife. LOL.

LG has quietly fixed most of the hardware issues and gingerbread fixed most of the software related issues. The g2x is a beast now with most issues finally fixed.

My fiancee has the g2x and she loves it. I need to install cm7 on her phone though . I love the my mt4gs because it has a full keyboard, the camera is awesome, and its fast . I like the g2x because of nVidia lol

Check the date it was manufatured. If its an early build Run for the hills. If its a later build like my wifes new one then buy it. If its used its probably an early build.

U have to take his word. Even some of the newer ones have problems. It's better to get them off the marketplace then someone who will be impossible

Black mytouch 4g slide for sale or trade?!?

Its in new condition with screen protector and black hard case. Its rooted but doesn't have a Rom on it. Will trade for an Amaze 4G, T-Mobile Galaxy II, Or Sensation 4G.. Or will sell it for 380$. I don't have the box for it

I'm talking about Samsung Galaxy S II and the HTC amaze. No one would ever trade you for those devices. Sensation is a different story.

Actually its fact. Both those phone a superior in every aspect vs this device. If someone would trade you the device is most likely stolen or broken. So ya. Who knows one idiot with no techinal knowledge might trade you. And I almost forgot, for sale items in general section is against xda forum rules, mods have been notified.

I guess I'm getting a Sensation

Went to Tmo today to talk about the screen blacking out on my girls phone and her optical pad is done too...u may have seen me taking about it on here and how I reverted it back to stock but could not get s back on...
The guy offered her a Sensation as an upgrade and asked if I wanted it too since we on the same plan...at first I said no because I love this phone but before we left the store I changed my mind hope I'm not dissatisfied with it...
Tomorrow is my last day with my Mytouch4g I will have to revert to stock and send it to HTC its been great guys. Thanks to all the devs and all the help...I'm already thinking of rooting the Sensation I hope its just as easy as the MT4G is...see ya on the other side.

I'm not really sure I was chasing my daughter around the store while my girl was at the counter with the rep...I did a early upgrade a year ago from Blackberrys to the MT4G so I thought I had a year before we could upgrade...
I asked her what they told her and apparently they are replacing the Mytouch4Gs that are having issues. Both phones are red. But there is nothing wrong with mine so I'm not sure how he did it for my phone as well.
The paperwork printed up as a warranty exchange and charged us a $5 fee for each phone that will be on our next bill.

Sensation is a great choice, lots of support and different roms to choose from and will be getting ICS soon as an OTA. This is supposed to happen within the next couple of months. If you end up not liking the Sensation I will definatly trade you my red mytouch 4g if you are feeling nostalgic

I might talk to a rep soon. My optical pad won't click anything. I can scroll but nothing happens when I click.

While it's not a worse phone spec-wise, that phone is such a significant downgrade that they should pay you for doing that.
