Verizon’s latest minimum advertised pricing (MAP) list has added two devices that are no doubt on everyones short list for the holidays. The fan favorite has to be the Galaxy Nexus (Prime), but the HTC Rezound (Vigor) is no slouch in the specs department and HTC certainly has a loyal following amongst the Android faithful.
Considering what these phones have to offer it will probably come as no surprise that they are grabbing Verizon’s top pricing at $299.99 on a 2-year contract. We had a nice run there when $199 was the worst they would do to us, but clearly those days are gone for now.
Does $299 seem like a fair price for these devices to you? How does the November 10th release date sit with you? Should they have pushed to get it closer to the iPhone’s release or is just making sure it is out in time for the holidays good enough?
AWESOME
I just hope its same price for T-Mobile ... :0

Actually, the Map period is when advertising starts. It does not mean that is the release date. It can be released anytime after that date.
Also, does this post really need to be in this forum. It is afterall, the MyTouch 4G General section
MyTouch 4G. CyanogenMod 7.0.3

Thanks NetNerd! Can you post pics of the sides to see their relative thickness? Looks like the phone itself is not much bigger, but 0.3" screen difference is huge.
I'm itching to get the Inspire now...

Official?? Don't think so...
Not even remotely a teaser video. Just some dude you ripped out some Transformer footage and stuck the Google logo at the end.

If this thing only comes out for Verizon, I will be so disappointed. I will not buy.

It will come to other other carriers eventually. I too am worried that Verizon snagged some 2-3 month exclusivity deal. I really don't want to wait 3 more months to get this beast on tmobile.
I'm really excited to see what this will be. I think it's a good opportunity to capitalize on the iPhone 4S debacle. You see the fanboys over at the Apple forums? They're going nuts.
you're late to the party this was out a long time ago

I posted this on the Nexus 4 Forums and figured I would also share it here:

This tool is for those of us that are currently under an AT&T contract and thinking of purchasing the Nexus 4. Since this phone comes shipped unlocked and without a contract, we might as well consider switching carriers to maximize our savings. I put together this Excel spreadsheet to do the math automatically and figured I would share:

In my case I would break even in about 6 months after paying the ETF and then save around $70 / month. My savings per year is equal to about the cost of 3 nexus 4's..

I is depressing that you are considering switching over to the Nexus from the hox. The nexus will not even have LTE. I know it gets Jellybean but even if you loose root you will be able to get it back sooner or later anyways.
Cool tool.

What does everyone plan on getting for their next phone?
I'll probably get a Nexus 4 or to spite LG for never updating the O3D and giving up on it, I might hold out and go Galaxy Note 3.

Note2 1jaar contract waiting for note 3 all for the pen or better
Maybye 3D+pen
Apparently, LG will not be introducing any new 3D phone this year, so it's safe to say that we'll never see that official ICS ROM...
I will not buy LG phones for years to come, unless they're Nexus phones. I'll stick with BlackBerry 10 phones and downgrade my O3D to Gingerbread so that I can take 3D pictures. If 3D cameras get cheaper, I might get one .
My contract is allmost over now,but im not gonna biy anything special. Im gonna take probably ZTE Blade 3,just so i could have a spare phone. And then in august or september im gonna get the nexus 4 through the Pocket Change reward system.

Not sure about US but in Canada so far we do get a pixel stand as a gift with pixel 3 order.
Yeah, I was under the impression that here in the US we were just getting however many months free of YouTube Music. Which I don't qualify for since I've already had a free trial in the last two months or whatever lol

Verizon is the only US supplier offering the stand as a free gift with P3 purchase. But I thought it was only for pre-ordered units. All others can take advantage of the BOGO offer if you add a new line.
My understanding the free stand was for pre-orders on launch day only.
I pre-ordered the day it was announced, but didn't hear anything about this offer. So a nice surprise today!

It's was free with on line pre-orders only from Verizon.
