Try search for LG UTC-100. I fount it somewhere as accessories for P500, but on another site P500 missing in compatible list. So I'm not sure about this.

I don't know if it's standard micro USB, but if LG have standard micro USB, than also this cable will be.
The LG UTC-100 is for the LG cookie (KP500, which you may have confused with our P500) and the viewty etc, and these have a different connector. The one we're looking for is the LG UTC-200M, which does have micro usb.
But all of this is irrelevant, since nowhere does it say (to my knowlege) that the optimus one has any TV-Out capabilities, and if it doesn't exist in hardware, there's nothing you can do with just software.

There's an almost 200 page service manual posted on a development thread and I just read through it.
No mention of TV-Out, and if it was anywhere in the Optimus One, it'd be in that manual, IMO.

this cable "LG TV Out Cable UTC-200M" is available on the official LG mobile shop site ,
http://www.lgmobileshop.co.uk/go/ac...ble?NAVID=5B495D07-3005-8DAD-198D7C7F2ACBD2C8
and the computable devices are : KT770, GW520, GD900 (Crystal), GT500, GT505, BL40 (New Chocolate), GM750, GD510 (Pop) and GW620 , but no optimus one, but some sites say that utc 200 compatible with optimus one like this one
http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/lg-utc-200m-tv-out-cable-p22989.htm
so i think no , it will not work !

I agree with your views.
not possible, as tv out feature requires special hardware in phone to output the video signal.
Look for the Twonky Media server app in the market. May not be exactly what you want, but I think it streams media to DLNA tvs
i try the nokia n85 tv out cable and there's no luck.
so it must be the missing hardware or software.
Maybe the best way is to play them through dvd player

If anybody else wants to stream via DLNA or UPNP, try also Skifta. I've been able to stream video to my DLNA-enabled LG tv via Skifta Haven't tried streaming music and pics but since it can already do video, I guess it's not to hard for Skifta to stream music and pics
I think its not possible as of now.
i also wanna know the answer..............

these adapters might be standard usb adapters (like here).
The chipset specification (msm7227) says it has limited USB OTG (usb host) capabilities, but it has been shown to work on other phones (at least with keyboards/usb sticks), such as ZTE Blade.
There might be problems also with providing power to the usb "slaves", but up until now I haven't been able to connect anything and have it work. I have tried keyboards, mice, memory sticks, digital cameras.
Haven't tried (yet) a proper USB OTG cable, as for the rest (hardware) I have done it: hacked usb otg cable, hacked external power, powered usb hub, etc..
Hope someone smarter will find a solution (maybe missing kernel modules+ some kind of USB power hack?).

No Driver is required
WTF ???
edit : can they prove that this cable works without any driver ? and kernel support ? how will this work without kernel support ? fishy...
it doesn't deny it. it DOES say "compatible mobile devices". if the i9003 isn't currently compatible, then it won't work, but if it is, it will. that's the way people do things without getting in trouble because they warn you that it only works with COMPATIBLE devices. a clever way to sell things without getting into trouble
so, does the seller actually claim, word for word, that it WILL work on an i9003? if not, then just take anyone's word for it (that knows what they're talking about) when they say tv out doesn't work on our device at this time
"no driver is required" is like my camera. nothing has to be installed for me to view pictures on my tv; it's programmed to work using the rca cable

dont mind :- 1 tip for u alwayz try to tell simply n with short sentence so that with poor english can understand like me........
I don't know how bad google trans mangles things converting all languages, but try this:
the seller does not claim it works on i9003 unless they say "it works on i9003". I will not buy it just to see if it works when others say it won't without a modified kernel.

product description is very clear. They have said that cable helps to show audio & vdo contents on tv. Means if u have mp3, vdo files then only it will show on tv. In real term its not a tv out. Tv out means porting mobile screen as it is on tv.

I tested with car bluetooth (blue5) & I could play video with sound on car screen.
does this bluetooth gadget use the 3.5mm jack? no. will it be helpful so people won't worry so much about tv? YES! do all tv's support bluetooth? NO!
provide a link to the bluetooth device and put it in the marketplace for those that want tv out now, and if they're desperate, they can pay for a bluetooth-supported tv too
for everyone else, a refresher AGAIN is that tv out uses the 3.5mm jack. if only audio is connected ON THE PHONE SIDE of the jack, only audio will be put out, so tv out won't work. I believe it's been said that's how our phone is set up currently.
Are you sure about it ? I'm going to buy one next week , any way I'll feedback
I don't think it's fake, i've read about it in a serious magazine.
These cables are available at your Local Electric shop at a price of 100INR or so.
What these cable to is, port over your MP3 to a sound system.
Or your Video to a TV system.
And, TV-OUT technically means that it should be able to show ANY screen ( Be it games, Apps or homescreen) to you Television set.
And, It needs a kernel which supports it!
One can not just od it without drivers.
If it's so, I would not mind paying a $200
So, This is not Tv-Out, This is only Music & Video out

You can play video with sound.
But, You cant play games which is seen on the TV.
And, I dont think it is worth $5!
You get it for $2 in any Indian Electrical shop.
Obviously, If you use the skills of bargaining wisely

I found a thread on the OnePlus forums that states there is no mention of aptX support for the One. I know that has something to do with Bluetooth streaming but that's pretty much all I know. Does this mean the OPO may not be able to stream music via Bluetooth in my car? Is it more dependent on my car's hardware? (I've got a 2011 Hyundai Sonata, for the record, and I've tried to google it with no success.) If it can't, even at $350, I'll have to pass. That's a non-negotiable for me. Can someone with more knowledge on the subject please chime in? Thanks.

Aptx is a new codec for Bluetooth audio. Most devices don't even support it right now. As long as as A2DP and AVRCP are supported you should be fine. I don't think cm supports aptx but aptx isn't related to whether or not you can steam music in your car.
Sent from my One using Tapatalk
Yeah. Probably even your sonata sound system doesn't support aptx codec.
A bit more info.
http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/AptX
I would be curious though if the oneplus one supports aptx. I'm thinking probably not.
Sent from my One using Tapatalk
According to the Oneplus Forums it doesn't. However my 3 year old HTC One X does, so APTX definitely isn't that new.
This is going to make me rethink about whether I actually want this phone or not....
Google isn't bringing up any recent information on this topic here, other than a general consensus that the opo *probably* doesn't have aptx. But some mentions that it might be add able? Any ideas on this? Or further information that my Google-fu missed?
I didn't really care before, but I've got a high end Bluetooth speaker coming in the mail, it supports aptx, and so I'm curious thanks all!

That's pretty cool! Yeah the Bluetooth should work fine for most things, but what's being discussed now is higher quality Bluetooth, a special codec called 'aptx'. Bluetooth should work fine without it, but just standard quality only.
To clarify things Herr.
Aptx is a propyitary codec by CSR. BT devices supporting aptx also work without.
However Theres a major difference in audio lag and quality.
Aptx is way supirrior over regular BT IF your sound device is good enought or you wanna watch movies.
On cheap speakers you probably won't hear much difference. On high end headphones you will never go back to regular BT once you had aptx.
That said only a handful of manufacturer support it. Also cyanogen doesn't.
Its not only software but also hardware.
BTW its not just a codec running over the a2dp its a replacement of a2dp
It has almost not lag so watching movies sint a pia and the lowlatency aptx variant has practically no lag
Aptx was initially for pro. BT devices like wireless mics and monitor phones on a production level (studio, concert ...) and sadly there's no alternative right now even close to its performance

Generally it's implemented in software on the phone (or PC) and hardware in the receiver (headphones, car, etc.) really depends on the processing power available on either end. With that in mind it is technically feasible to deploy support to existing phone, it just needs to be licensed and coded into the platform.
There seems to be aptX working on Oneplus One but you have to use Lineage 14

Hi Guys,
I've had this In-Dash Navigation for several years now and back then, almost everything was only compatible with iOS. Now that I own a nexus5, the only way I can play music is through AUX cable. Does anyone out there own this In-Dash Navitation and know of a way to stream or play music with any Android phone?
I know this is way off topic but it's been driving me nuts and the XDA community is awesome and knowledgeable.
Thank you,

I too hope someone has a solution for this, I was really pissed off when I realize that the tablet could only output Stereo.
Why make a tablet that can double as a Console/Media Station and not support DTS or Surround.

i was thinking about getting one, but if it cannot do DTS, then there is no hope for DTS-HD then
Streaming to plex gives also only stereo out. Very bad.
This is typical with nvidia its same when using hdmi on their desktop GPU's
Just search online nvidia HDMI 2 channel
Might want to bring it up on their forum

Ahhh for real I just got a shield tablet lastnight and im running XBMCHUB install right now so I didnt get a chance to try it yet. But I cant believ this wont be fixed soon even ouya updated to allow passthru a few OTA's ago and nvidia is sooooooo much more capable then ouya. Ill keep my fingers crossed, otherwise im loving this tablet. But my favorite part of a new device is always the initial setup/tryout phase I think I have more fun optimizing and solving problems then I do actually using these things.
I tried brining this up on the forum, but a lot of people defended Nvidia saying it was the App developers fault?!
Saying the fault lied with Netflix, Plex and others. Even though these apps work fine on other devices...
One person claims he was able to get it to work with MX Player.
I have a hard time believe that, as I've also tried MX Player, with AC 3 and DTS file, none of them worked.
Could there be some truth to this? If the Tablet manufacturer decided to cheap out an not included hardware decoding for AC 3 and DTS, could Software manufacturer patch it in software?
Though, since I paid 300$ for the damn tablet, I don't see why it would be up to every damn app manufacturer to have to pay for the DTS and AC 3 license and could see why they would never do...
Perhaps if my tablet is rooted, I could install something to cheat this...

i dont belive there is, i belive its a license the nvidia may not want to pay.
HTMC was released on the play store and it seems to support DTS.
Playing DTS is not the problem, DTS and AC3 (Dolbly Digital) pass through is what this thread is about. Being able to connect your tablet to an av receiver and have DTS come out instead of stereo.
