Database Info

This does not make sense for me at all...

Greetings XDA'ers, i owned a Samsung Galaxy S Plus (i9001) with everything stock on it. And i updated it using ODIN to another firmware (from i9001xxkpj to i9001xxkqb) and then flashed a custom ROM (MoonRom) on it. But i didn't like the rom, so i flashed back to stock. But then i noticed something wierd, the phone touch dial tones from the custom rom was still there?? (Those sound when you press the numbers on the phone)
I tried to format, wipe cach using CWM and Recovery, i flashed another stock roms. But those dial touch tones didn't want to get away. What is wrong with that device. I am still confused and i gave the phone to my mom.
This is a rather small thing, but my OCD kills me. I just want to know if you guys/girls have any idea what can cause this?? Or maybe some of you have a I9001.
And im now affraid to flash roms on my S2 cause of this.

Upload again I9001XQB by ODIN instead of the Recovery.

[Q] Samsung galaxy s showcase (need stock everything)

i had 4.1.1. jelly bean installed
i somehow had a backup of SGS UPDATE
restored it and ran it . it asked for super user. so i allowed
it restarted and stayed at the samsung logo .
so i tryed to get in to recovery. no luck
flashed something with oldin . no its stuck in clock work recovery. 4.0.1.0.
i try to install zip from sd card
acts like its working then when it gets to checking bml/mtd or something like that.
and then shuts off and restarts and goes right back in to recovery

i got 4.1.1 installed on it before but it was a C-spire network but it worked find accept for mms

[Q] switch back to stock rom galaxy mini

i have flashed cyanogenmod 7 on my galaxy mini s5570, but not satisfied with the rom. it restarts often and slows down sometimes. now, i want to switch back to my stock rom for galaxy mini andoid 2.3.4. (my back up always shows md5 mismatch.) but i dont know how. can anyone help me, tell me what to do. can i go bac to my stock rom without any backup? how pleeeeaaaasseeee!!!!

Guys I just downloaded a custom rom available and flashed it through odin...every thing works fine...but suddenly it switches off and boots again and again only with the samsung i5801 startup screen....the process is random....I tried flashing with about 5 to 6 roms I downloaded,tried factory reset,wipe cache...what not I did everything...but problem persists...plz guys provide a solution...very well thankful:good:

Try again and flash an original firmware from http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/. I'll wait for an answer

Which rom did u flash. Try flashing stock using it for some time and then reflashing the other rom. N follow all instructions properly. And random reboots may happen sometimes bcos of too many apps r evn battery problems.

[Q] Stuck in Samsung Screen

I flashed my gt-i5801 with kyrillos 10.6. Now when I wanted to switch back to good old froyo(2.2) after flashing via odin,the phone doesnt go past the samsung screen.Please help.

Try and flash a custom rom because the partitions need to be reformated. Try with kyrillos 9.7 and wait a bit more at the boot logo

I am using kyrillos 10.6 now.. but i want to switch back to 2.2..how?

I have try to go back to stock 2.2 but it never work. If you want 2.2 only, try this:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1230801
The last rom on my i5800 (2 years of use without problem)

Try removing the Battery and Reboot ....
If it again Comes ...
Try Flashing Custom Rom >>>>>>>>>
