Hi there,

[REQ] Diffrent type of wallpaper animation look

I know that there are some wallpaper animations out there, I would like to thanks developers for their hard work.
However
all the animated wallpapers have things dropping.
it will be nice if there is more to it, like sony psp lines animation, or some of andriod type wallpapers.
and my idea is to have some sort of liquid in the background that respond to accelerometer moment.

As of yet, no-one has actually made a custom animation. The ones that come on the device are a bunch of PNG files and a script that controls them. The custom ones you've seen have basically been copies of them, but with different PNG files. No-one has actually made a custom animated wallpaper yet, which is why they all look the same.
Until someone figures out how they actually work, we're stuck with that I'm afraid.

[Q] Live Wallpaper Background

I am pretty new into android development and have a couple questions I'm sure you guys can answer pretty quickly but have so far not been able to figure out. How do I have a set background in a live wallpaper besides just creating something from canvas, I have it already loaded in the hdpi I just need to figure out how to call it. Also, is it possible to have something appear enlarge a little bit in the center of the screen then fall off the screen? I'm trying to create a time lapse of a tree where it goes through all the weather changes. Any sites you could link me too or answers you would have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for anything you guys are able to do.

How to make a simple boot animation with just one picture?

Hi,
Could someone help/guide me through making a simple boot animation for HD2 Android? I have searched XDA and googled and so far all I have found is how to make dynamic boot animation with multiple picture sequels in a loop format. This is NOT what I am looking for. I need a very simple boot animation that will one show one picture that you want throughout the booting cycle until you get the start up screen...NO flying saucer..peeing on Apple or anything like that..just one plain simple image of your choice until the phone boots up to start menu. Your help/guidance will be highly appreciated. Thanks again.

Taking requests for boot animations, graphics etc.

So i just cracked my cs5 back open and started studying up on theming, I'm looking to get into doing full android design but figure let's start small..
Anyhow, any devs looking for designs for logos, signatures, boot animations, graphic elements for UI, etc. shoot me a PM, and any users with ideas, requests, etc, feel free to request on this thread, though I am looking to try and fall in with the devs, i will be open to suggestions if they become common requests, especially boot animations, i am looking to put something out there for people to use instead of bland Asus logos, they get so boring.
Requests are on first come first serve basis, and all work will be voluntary unless otherwise agreed upon.
Thanks!

If I had the original I could modify the images, right now I'm not using any 3d rendering software so I can't make that kind of animation from scratch without downloading a few more applications..i guess I'll get on top of that, but until then I can really only produce 2d animations with proficiency.
Thanks for the link though!
