I personally use Ubersocial for android. Another alternative is twicca. Both of these apps have tons of customized settings. However twitter for android, is the best because the app syncs data like a Gmail account. This means there is less battery drain.

the normal Facebook app doesn't do this for you?

I've been trying to solve this problem as well. If you're just trying to get pics you can use syncmypix from the market. If you want numbers the only solution I've found is to use cm7 if you want gb and Facebook sync.

Ya I want my fb contacts to be in my actual contact list. I suppose I will wait for a better cm7 to come.out. thanks guys

Everything else is syncing (like twitter and Google) but Facebook won't let me. Any suggestions

From what I've read in the development section, if you're running ROMs based on ICS syncing doesn't work for Facebook because it's not updated for ICS yet.

I LOVED this app for all my daily android and gaming news, but the dev is no longer supporting it and no longer streams the different news to it. Any one found a good replacement for it?

Try Flipbook. Add whatever content you want... Android Police to Google + pages and follow Twitter accounts... I use it daily for what you miss in an app....
