[Q] Lost the ability to root - Milestone XT720 General

Hi!
I have updated the superuser app. By doing this i've lost the ability to root all my app. I can't even update the outdate su binary with superuser.. I'm with bravo rom with all the update. I has try to root again with superoneclick but it has fail.. Any idea to resolve the problem?
Sorry for my very bad english..

Manage applications, uninstall updates. Then to update su grab the update.zip from androidsu.com

[Q] BIG Problem with Super User Permission!

Okay so everytime i open an App that needs a super user permission, a notification shows up saying my "#su binary" is outdated. So I tried updating it but it fails. I researched and read somewhere to update is manually. So i downloaded an Su Binary and replaced the old one with this new one. It worked and all but heres the problem. The old apps that are granted Superuser Permission is no longer in the list. When i open them it says "superuser not granted" and doesn't give me the option to allow or always allow.
So here's my question, how to i allow superuser permission again?
You have to get busybox from the market first then u can update superuser

T_T It was denied superuser Access, also rom manager is denied superuser access. How do i fix this
Sorry for double post but after using the Root checker, i found out my phone was no longer rooted. So i used oneclickuser again and rooted it. It returned it to Su Binary v2.3.1-ef from v3. The build and the baseband version are still the same. Yay, i think i just messed up on replacing that SU file instead of actaully updating it.
Well I hadthe same issue then installed busybox and it fixed it. But deleting something something u need someone that can help more than me lol. All else fails start over ...... I just learn by xda what I did wrong and if that don't work I start from scratch lol. Hopefully. Someone will help u soon.

lost root in tweak

Hey guys.
I lost root access after flashing tweakmod coming from Gummy.
Root check seems to think I have it, SU apk is there, I just can't grant access. I tried updating busybox with no luck and SU didn't have an update.
lil help?
Try setting settings (lol) in the su app to "always allow" and see what happens.

This has been an issue mentioned a number of times across a number of threads - the best solution seems to have been to go to androidsu.com, download the superuser zip, and flash it.
Also, I would force the binary to update in the superuser app.
Go to Prefrences>Binary then update, and it will tell you that your binary is current, but update it anyways.

superuser or superSU?

Which application is better, superuser or superSU?
Now I have installed superuser, if I install superSU, I can delete superuser without problem?
Thanks for the answers!
The SuperSU suppose to be better for ICS. I upgrade from Superuser to SuperSU on my tablet without a problem.
Install SuperSU, install the binary then delete Superuser.
I got SuperSU. But that was only because my brother who likes to tinker with his android installed it for me.
Don't they both do the same job ? Im not fussed as lng as root apps have to ask for permission

I has bought Superuser for my Desire. Now with my One S i will unlock and root in next days.
But have anyone a clue why SuperSU (2.37€) can be better as Superuser?

[Q] How can I enable root for apps if this ROM has no option for it (ADB is fine)?

Hello all,
I have an old Allwinner A10 tablet, I've been trying to install something newer than ICS and have found some ROMS and firmwares. The most awesome is an ASTROPLUS firmware (Android 4.2.1) working great in my old tablet. Nevertheless, I can't manage Superuser or SuperSU to work. I have the app installed, I have SU binary updated but I can't use'em to grant root access to other apps. When using ADB I have root, but the main problem is this ROM has no root access options in developer (or any other) options. So, my question is, how can I change root access for ADB+apps without the option in GUI? What file/option do I have to modify? What command line order do I need to use to have the get desired behaviour?

Attempted root on my Casio but have a odd problem

Hey guys I have a very odd problem, I'm hoping to find the solution if possible.
I'm running gingerbread 2.3.3 with the latest update to build150 I attempted a one click root method for the Casio from android forums it failed to chmod on the attempts and failed. A couple of times I thought it rooted but the one click root method installed es file manager and universal unroot I installed super user( which is now a system app that I cannot remove) titanium back up fails to gain root super user fails to update the binary at gaining root permission super user has been denied permission.
So my question is even after a factory reset I still have a super user app with no root access and no way to uninstall the app I have super user app in the system with no root access so even titanium backup can't remove it does anybody have any ideas or suggestions?
Sorry if this post is confusing guys thank you again
