i Need Froyo Beach Live wallpaper . i have tried all apk but can not open its shows Force to close & dont load so please help me . i have Samsung Galaxy Ace 2.2.1 . thanks

I was stock ROM, S-OFF and rooted...Clicked yes to install OTA when prompted..Phone reset and then that came up and its doing nada...
Am I screwed? What should I do?
Can I do a battery pull? Am I bricked?
I pray someone helps me and doesn't flame. I know there are some good people in here still.
I appreciate any help I can get. Thanks.

You are not bricked you should be able to do a battery pull and boot up normally if that doesnt work since you are rooted get a tmobile 2.3.3 ruu and runn that..

I believe your mistake was doing the OTA WHILE being rooted. Good news is, is that most people here tried the same as you and all are fine now.

Doing battery pull now. Will update If any more problems.

It's not root that kills the process, it's the custom recovery.
I assume you have CWM Recovery?
You need the stock recovery to make the OTA work, hence you have to use the RUU to get it back. Instructions are here:

After that, you can re-gain root by reading here:

just flash the one that birgetime prepared for us. running it right now. get same as ota.

I did...I'm all set now.
This is why we are the best online community. I appreciate it everyone...I flashed BirgerTime's Stock/Rooted ROM and its booting now.
Is there a way to change the thread to closed or change the title to solved??

Just change to mods please close and when they do a clean sweep your thread will be closed.

Extended Power Menu

I am looking for just an EPM for the ROM I am currently using. Anyone have one extracted?

You can't just install an extended power menu....its a lot of work with PNG and XML files imbedded in the framework....if you Google it there are guides on how to do it...but like I said...a lot of work

I wasn't wanting it to catch on. Just not having luck making one for Numas. I keep trying though. Lol. 10 flashes today, testing the framework.

Very practical! Very funny!

After i fix and release my update image make a how to thread on EPM ....so everybody can try it...it requires editing the android.policy.jar, framework.jar, framework-res.apk , 4 global action smali's, shutdown thread smali , strings.xml and public.xml ....not to mention adding the png images...lol..

Lol yup. I wanted everything working properly. Lol it was bugging me.

Please forgive my ignorance for this but you say save my apns for when I flash the modem in case of no data so I can restore them. I went to the apns and saved them but where does the save file go in case I need to restore them?

Proud to announce... successfuly flashed sky kernel-009v, cwm-supersu-v0.7.3zip, doomlord-ics-aplaa-wi-fi-gsm-enabler-v010zip...have no signal after flashing radio-rl-1727rvxxj7zip..could someone suggest a fix?..i restored back with cwmtouch to point before radio flash and everything is fast and smooth...aquired unlock codes and searched all day for purchase of sim card kit..no T-Mobile store in my area...other options?..also created a dump file to help support my rocket to run Odin mobile...does anyone know or have info on future odin support for rocket?..i knod ghis should be in q-n-a...but already typed it and dont have a clue on how to use my clipboard where it says its saving everything too.....
.....never give up...the answers are all here somewhere..made me a beleiver..thats for sure..thanx again.

The Skyrocket is already has Odin support. Most custom ROMs and devs don't use it though.

Ha......classic.
As for a ROM suggestion, Silver's ROM is quite solid. I don't run on T-mobile at all, so I would stick with AT&T.
