[Q] Refuse ROM crashes on a MMS? - Samsung Infuse 4G

Hey guys, first time posting here so please forgive if this is in the wrong place
I just installed the Refuse 1.7 ROM on my Samsung Infuse 4G running red CWM 2.5.1.3. So far it's amazing and I love it, but there is one huge issue: every time I open my messaging app and try to view a picture message, i get the message "Sorry! The application Messenger (com.android.mms) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again." I've fiddled with the settings every way I can think, and nothing's working.
Thanks in advance if you can help
Edit: forgot to add, I'm on Android 2.2.1 Froyo

Reboot, retry. If that doesn't work boot into recovery wipe and re-flash.

You could edit your first post change title to [solved] and maybe something more meaning full than PLEASE HELP!!! (which is the worst method to recieve help on xda)
and than post in your thread how you solved your problem so other people having similar problems will know.
I actually got help from a very cool, person on here named roebeet and the way i solved it was by going into clockwork mod reinstalling 4.25 then going back into clockwork mod and wiping all user data and much thanks goes to roebeet for the help in doing that
thank you so much
to Delete or notify, just >edit then> edit the post heading as "resolved-Mod please delete post"

[Q] Captivate Issues, Bizarre Behavior (Cyanogenmod to blame?)

Hey everyone,
As you can see, I'm new here, and did my best to search (both here on the forum and elsewhere) and tried to put this in the right place. If I did something wrong, if you could politely let me know, I'll fix it.
As far as the problem goes, a couple of days ago, my phone just started having strange issues. All of a sudden it's been telling me all sorts of things are crashing, and force closing them. It's also been randomly telling me there's no sim card, and wont let me make phone calls. I'm also not receiving incoming text messages.
It's a Samsung Captivate, running Cyanogenmod 7, Mod Version: 7.0.0-RCO-Captivate-Kang
I'd try and grab screen shots, but Shoot Me can't get root privileges.
EX: "The application Email (processcom.android.email) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again."
^I get a similar one for the messaging app, as well as facebook, but they flash too fast to read in their entirety.
Ex: Dolphin has Crashed
An unexpected error occured forcing the application to stop. Please help us fix this by sending your error data, all you have to do is hit report.
Here's what I tried to to:
I've tried restarting, pulling the battery, and a hard shut down and restart, but no dice. I figured I'd have to restore to the stock firmware, then tried to do this with the captivate toolbox, but no dice. I think it's because Cyanogenmod 7 makes everything think its a Nexus One. So what do I do? Should I try and update cyanogenmod? restore using Odin One Click?
This was my first flash, and it'd been working okay for a few months, but all of a sudden I got a ton of problems.
If you need more info, let me know.
Thanks Everyone.
Do a wipe data/factory reset in cwm. Do not restore anything and see if that helps.

You can always flash stock with Odin.

Using CWM worked, or it seemed to anyways. Thanks for the help guys.
Does anyone have any idea why it was doing that?
Sometimes our data with Applications and other programs may have a conflict with one rom to another.it just does.now I have found on cm7 that sometimes it can be just about anything.I just like to start fresh on any rom.

Please look around the forum before starting new threads. There are stickies in the Q&A subforum for ROM-specific questions, which is where this should have gone. Always search before posting a new thread.

samsung galaxy exhibit II error

just rooted my Exhibit II 4G and deleted some of the bloatware including e-mail app. after that the nightmare started it says"Sorry the application Email (process com.android.mail) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again. Force Close" i can't even reply in text messaging. i tried restoring it to factory setting but to no avail, the error keeps on coming. tried clearing the e-mail data and cache and its also the same. Does ClockworkMod or Flash back to stock help me in restoring my phone back? I'm helpless here... thanks in advance...
You would be best
You would probably be best re-flashing your phone either back to stock or install another custom rom, it might be that whatever you have done has just broke the application..

Hi! After I installed the ported S3 camera on my S2 Plus, every time I reboot my phone, I'm getting the message "Android is upgrading" and it's showing that 21 apps are optimizing. Why it's that happening? The camera app is ok, it works fine, but this messaje is annoying) Please help me!
p.s.: sorry if i posted in the wrong place, it's my first time here.

I wiped my cache partition from recovery, but still got that message.
i don't know how to solve this...
i will try to flash again the rom on the phone...
Same problem...all goes well, untill I install the S3 ported Camera for odex/deodexed roms. It doesn't delelte the old app, it just crashes when you open it. I I deleted now the odex files from System, but i receive the same message. I'm starting to get bored of trying to get rid of it )
Can someone help me?
Hello! I'm back with some news. I got the "Android is upgrading" message because I was Odexed. The app that was doing this was the Ported Galaxy S3 camera.
After I got my rom Deodexed, I've got rid of that message.
I hope this message will help someone, someday.
I solved using "lucky patcher". Odexed the system ... cleaned... and the cleared dalvik cache.
