Flashed it this morning while i was in the shower lol.
Been running it all day with stock kernel whit no problems so far. A2DP works great and GPS lock is almost instant.

skype is working but the camera output is sideways on the receiving end
Weird. Been using this ROM for 2 days but the apps seem not to link to market. Tried TB already, still doesn't work... Better try to wipe everything and install it again to make sure then
PS: if anyone is looking for a kernel for this ROM, faux's works fine for me. No tool needed

Older Radio have know issue which drain faster on asleep, 26.04.02.17 is higly recommended.
i do not recommend newer radio (26.04.02.17 is fine), because it fix exploit used for gain root access and could not be downgraded

Wow this is amazing, I can't wait to try this ROM out. Looks like I'll have to wait a while as my Desire HD is in for repair. I'm so excited!
Edit: just as good as I thought it would be except for battery life. Sense would last me atleast 16 hours, with the display using anywhere from 30-50%, but on CM the display is using around 10%, with things like radio and Android system topping out with around 30%.
So far the rom is working perfectly!
Will test more features of course (GPS/BT/720p movies, etc)
phones wiped and ready, just waiting on the download \o/

Ah, the good ol' four corner trick
So far so good with this ROM. Updated this morning and getting things all setup since I was coming from another ROM. Will report back once it gets broken in and starts to be used normally.

the initial start screen with the green android guy wasn't working for me.
the four corner trick constists of touching each corner of the screen (TL,TR,BR,BL)

You have to slide your finger slowly across the status bar.
this rom is amazing, by far the smoothest fastest and snappiest rom i've ever used and i've pretty much used them all since 2.1

I used cyanogen mode with tiamats latest kernel for about 3 days. wasn't impressed by the battery life. But it was pretty speedy except for the delay in screen on and screen off (not animations the actual turn off). I was wondering if that is fixed and so is the 1kb mms issue? Also I miss the sense keyboard D: and browser lol.

I think its cooked in, and you really do not need a partitioned card for aosp roms, cm has an option of moving all apps to the sd card anyways. So you should be good.
EDIT: Didn't mention this but I've never tried using dta2sd on any CM rom so if anyone cares to shine a light on this please...

I couldn't get beta 4 to work but v2.7.5.2.1 is working fine for me the ROM I'm almost 100% on this has its own built in a2sd if your partitioned but by default it moves all your app/data/ cache to the partition if I'm way off on this someone can correct me.
I like dta2sd cause I like to keep data and cache on the internal memory since I never seem to have a low memory issue and it just seems faster to me.

So far my only complaint is with the ring lockscreen. I think it had a cleaner look without the arrows. Other than that everything is great.

So far so good. All in all it seems pretty stable except for one classic problem that no ASOP rom has ever resolved, *it still wont cook me dinner* jk, the screen wake issue still persists. already experienced it a good 5 to 7 times and i'm only in the 20hr mark since its release.
leave the phone off for an extended time period (1hr+), try to wake, hit or miss success rate.
Tested on three EVOs all with the latest radio/firmware/etc. revisions and HW ver.003

I read somewhere that if you go into keyboard and language options then select us English (even if it's already set) this can fix it.

Does anyone know if there are plans to upgrade the dialer? In comparison to the Sense or MIUI dialer, this is CM's last remaining weak link. Perhaps this'll be part of future ICS releases?

I have had heaps of trouble with my mobile data connection especially when switching wifi on and off with the previous builds.. Sometimes it is inactive for days..

- First time flashing CM 7 to your Inspire 4G (or coming from another ROM)?
1. Root your device and install Clockwork Recovery.
2. Do a Nandroid backup!
3. WIPE (wipe data/factory reset + wipe cache partition)
5. Install the ROM
6. Optionally install the Google Addon
HOW TO REPORT BUGS OR PROBLEMS?
- Was it a hard reboot? Go into recovery and dump the "/proc/last_kmsg" file.
- Was it a soft reboot or a "boot loop"? Run "adb logcat" and get send the full output.
- Pastebin links preferred
- Please use the issue tracker whenever possible!

RC is stable version. Nightly is different. Might be less stable but is "updated" nightly.
Whats a recommendable kernel for the newest CM7 release.
Battery is losing a little bit too much for my liking right now
Also I seem to have lost sound altogether other than calls when using unity v10 kernel
EDIT: Got it back after flashing LorDModUE V8.6

Last I knew unity was a Sense based kernel. Not an AOSP kernel

Thanks, I was running MikRunny prior and it ran that kernel.
I flashed whatever kernel was on my microSD at the time.
Dumb move I know
