Screen resolution after flash - Samsung Infuse 4G

I flashed infused 1.6.0 from stock and immediately noticed that the clarity/sharpness of my screen is terrible. My wallpaper and icons are very rough looking, almost pixilated. Has anyone else experienced this? I also flashed community kernel and h2 modem from the galaxy s 4g forum.

[Q] Changing Splash Screen?

Is it possible to change the splash screen on the SGS 4G yet? (the very first thing you see when you turn on the phone.)

I use Widgetlocker -- which works like a charm and is highly configurable (and doesn't need root, a custom ROM, or anything along those lines).
There was another thread on lock screens some time ago that might be worth skim

LB's Hellraiser

Which rom is would you recommend with hellraiser?

Right now - probably SensatioN 2 by Crysis, simply because that is the one LB is testing with. There's a link from one of LB's posts in the Hellraiser thread.
I just switched from Darky to SensatioN and I'm really liking it.
Thanks for your help. I appreciate it

I put sensation on last night and is not bad I like the theme and its pretty fast but I have issues with network dropping very easily without moving and wifi does the same. I feel like the lock screen is kind of buggy too. Idle if that's just me or what? I do
have beta 5 hell raiser too

With Hellraiser beta5, any of them should. Mobile AP was one of the kernel fixes in beta5.

No. If you want HDMI, you need to either run a Froyo ROM or wait until after AT&T releases Gingerbread - going to take at least 1-2 weeks after that IMO, maybe longer.
+1 for Apex. Only been running it for 30 minutes but data works great.

I've been running mosaic vi all day now and all I can say is wow. I loved mosaic when I had my captivate, followed it from mosaic one all the way to 5, then handed it off to my dad when I got my infuse. After installing mosaic 6 on my infuse today, I played with it side by side with my dads captivate, also on mosaic 6, and our phone blows the captivate out of the water. I haven't seen a single hint of lag whatsoever.
If you try mosaic, which I highly suggest you do, don't worry about the fix for mosaic 6 posted in the op of the mosaic thread...couldn't get it to work properly, and the rom works fine without it. Also, you can use all of the themes they have for mosaic, just make sure you flash hellraiser again after you flash any theme. I installed the erebos theme and my phone looks slick as hell. Love having themed swype keyboards again.

No H+ icon, as it's a captivate rom and the captivate doesn't have H+. It does have the H icon however, and my speeds seem to be on par with what I was seeing on actual infuse roms. As for the mobile ap, not sure, haven't tried it yet, but wasn't hellraiser 6 supposed to fix that issue?
Edit*** You had me curious, so I checked on both things. I pulled a 3.3 mbps down, 1.3 up, which is about the fastest I have seen in my area. When I was on my captivate and on only hspa, not hspa+, I could only pull like 1.5 to 2 down, so H+ is still working even though the icon doesnt show. Also, I tethered my laptop using mobile ap to edit this post, so it is in fact working, just make sure you use hellraiser 6

I've been running Mosaic since last evening with a modded version of Hellraiser beta4 (with my kernel, which basically makes it beta5). So far it's nice - I may likely return after trying 1-2 ROMs for debugging/testing purposes.

My wallpaper seems to be zoomed in on. Problem started when I used MHX's rom. Anybody else have this similar problem with this rom or any other rom?

It is how the 2.3.6 base is. It does not allow scrolling wallpaper either
known issue bud
You could try wallpaper wizardri, that's what I use and it works out pretty well with cropping on both this phone and tablet.

Best stable ROM for Galaxy s3 i747?

I have searched Google and youtube trying to find out what could be the best stable ROM to run on my galaxy s3 i747 but haven't had any luck. So what do you guys think the best stable ROM is? I'm currently running Cyanogenmod 10 with clockworkmod recovery touch. Please just let me know what you guys think.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 running CM10 4.1.2 JB using xda premium
I'm using the same as you, it is ok but it has some hickups, nothing to make my phone useless but my phone is not as stable as it was with stock rom.
Yeah I have noticed that too. Like when you change the number of rows and columns on the home screen it gets kinda laggy. There are a few other things that are glitchy, but they will prob be fixed pretty soon. One of my favorite features is the built in ability to change the color of the led light.

Dropdown notification bar lag on jb

So the one thing I loved about the gs3 was the fact that the dropdown was perfect...60fps no matter what was going on..always perfect. Well of course Samsung had to absolutely ruin that with jb and it's now like half the framerate than ics was, and it's slow and clunky and downright bad compared to ics. Are there any jb roms out there running the ics dropdown or a modified version? I'm pretty sure that whole fading background as it comes down is what lags it out.

nobody, huh?
they seriously took 2 steps forward and like 4 backwards with this update. don't understand how this doesn't bug anyone else. the notif dropdown on the lockscreen lags to all hell and just isn't smooth at all. it's worse on lockscreen than it is when you're unlocked, but it's still choppy.
Looks pretty damn smooth to me...

Smooth as can be for me. Rooted and not rooted.

Jayochs has vision that sees in 120fps... Lol. It is slightly slower but that is the trade off I guess.
Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda app-developers app
I agree that the drop down is noticeably slower and pretty choppy at times.
Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda app-developers app
im glad other people do notice it. It's nothing like it was on ics. i actually went and flashed cm10 then put on a touchwiz skin just so it looks stock but is quicker. cm10 isn't even smooth but it's better than touchwiz.

it's always laggy for me after first unlocking the screen. On synergy 169 with lean kernel 1.6
I've flashed various TW ROMs (Hyperdrive, CleanROM, and BoneStock) - all of them exhibit the same stutter with pulling down the Notification drawer. I'm also using Stock Kernal and the stutter exists regardless if I'm running at 1.5ghz Max (Performance/Noop).
I have been tempted to flash over to an AOSP ROM with a custom kemal. Can anyone comment if that'll fix the issue?
