But it's a question pertaining to applications... If I asked what the best case for the infuse was would that go in the Q&A, or accessories? Debatable!!!

I dunno, I see nothing wrong with it. When I chose a ROM I base my opinion of what other users have to say about it.
If I were a rom dev I'd just be happy if someone "praised" my work.
We do have a homescreen screenshot-thread in the themes section though, might be more appropiate to post the screen there.
