Hey, when I purchased my phone the att Guy showed me some website to download TV shows and movies on my Droid. The only thing I remember about it was that you could download the movies in parts. I.E. part 1, part 2. Does anyone know what this website is? P.S. the reason I am wanting to use this is because my TV show and movie stream app will not work. They just say "no shows found." Does anyone know a solution to this either?

I just sold my Vibrant and bought a Nexus S and was wondering if there was another app like Allshare that I could use to stream movies from my PC to my phone.
I really like Allshare cause whenever my wife insisted on watching f'ing Jersey Shore I could allways bust out my phone and choose a movie from my library without have to get off the couch to upload it to my phone.

I'm not sure if we have the DLNA capabilities...I'll look around and see.

So we do have DLNA? I searched around and I couldn't find a definite answer.
Damn I was going to buy the nexus s but I use allshare all the time. Especially when family comes over. I stream the photos and hd home videos to my tv.
Do you think if I took the vibrant version and used it on the nexus it would work?
Dlna needed of course.

Twonky works for me, I stream to my ps3 and the nexus s does have dlna.

iMediaShare brings DLNA capabilities on any Android phone including Nexus S. In addition it also enable playback of online videos as well as sharing personal photos from Facebook and Picasa.
Hmmm.
I tried searching for imediashare (and scanning the QR codes that are on their website) but it's not showing up in my Market....must be a protected app or something.
Oh well.
Damn it. Maybe I could get the imedia apk found some where.

I was able to find Twonky though.

I read on another thread that the Allshare app on the Vibrant is tied into its framework and would have to be modified to work.

Last post is December, so did you guys find a way or did everyone settle with Twonky, Skifta and iMediaShare?
You can stream video with Gmote.
Although the dlna works fine I really wanted the AllShare app to control the TV, anyone know how to get it on the Nexus S or at least why can't we?!
Is there an OS version issue, cause I have downloaded like 3 AllShare apk but none works.
I`m currently using the 2.3.4 version.
Thanks in advance,

Hi guys i just wanted to share this awesome app. its called tv shows hd. for some reason they removed it from the market, but i just recently found it. the link is http://www.mobileboxs.info/android-apps/tv-shows-hd-v2-9-android/ just click on the megashare mirror and close all popups. click on where it says free download and close popups. then just wait for the countdown and download the apk. install it by either putting it on your sd card or going directly on your phone and downloading it and installing it like any other apk. Enjoy!!!!
UPDATE: I just found the newest version of this app which fixes the full screen problem...http://www.ipmart-forum.com/showthread.php?647650-TV-Shows-HD-v3.0-(free) you have to register to get the app, but hey 10 seconds is a small price to pay for such an awesome app. And the show quality is AWESOME
UPDATE 2: I just figured out how to use dropbox . Here is a link to the apk... http://dl.dropbox.com/u/25647849/TV Shows 3.0.apk
This is awesome. Not ALL shows work but A LOT do. Re-living my childhood watching Are you Afraid of the Dark.
"How I Met Your Mother" at the palm of my hands!!! Awesome!! Thanks for sharing!!!!!
My pleasure guys just trying to spread the android love. If an episode doesn't work just close the app and restart it usually works for me
Any way to make it full screen?
I use "TV Shows Stream". The free version only allows a few shows, but if you just dish out a couple bucks for the paid app, it's well worth it. Tons of shows that update frequently.

i use this too and its awesome!! anybody know of a live tv app? the last one was taken over by the FBI and other legal stuff anybody find a new one?
To make it fullscreen, just long press near the top somewhere until you see the full screen icon on the top left corner
Tv shows stream is like 8 dollars now...too expensive if u ask me. Tv shows Hd is free and the quality is amazing
Whenever I do full screen like 10 seconds later it goes back to un-full screen. Anyone else experiencing this?

Cant get this damn app to work. It searches for servers and then gives me an ad and then black screen. Tried force stoppping, and retarting. Even rebooted my phone. Any advice? Do I need to be on Wifi or is 3G fine? On a rooted Droid X running 2.3.3.

I can confirm the app working perfectly on my Droid X running 2.3.3 on 3G. Don't know what would be giving you issues.
Anyone get their divx cod registration completed. Give you that link but I don't see where to enter the code?
Sent from my LG-P999 using XDA Premium App
I registered mine successfully. I downloaded and installed the divx player to my laptop. I had to setup an account (free) and then at the top of the player click where it says VOD and one of the options is to register a device. You have to enter the code from the G2X and then download/transfer the registration video to the G2X and watch it before it says the device is registered.
All in all, it's a very ridiculous process for a feature I probably won't even use but was curious how to make it work. lol

I think it just allows you to transfer protected divx movies from your computer to any other authorized device, in this case our phones. I've never used it tho lol.

Can you test it out and make sure it works? The way it sounded in the article was that TW only allowed a few devices for it to work on. Thanks btw.
I would but doubt it will be all that effective for what I coukd test, I'm with Comcast and the parental unit controks the only set top.

Doesn't seem worth testing. Just use tv listings app from Market. Time Warner app doesn't stream live unless you are on an iPad.
Which is why I've never bothered with the XFinity TV app, they only support *real* watching on an iOS device.

I installed the app and registered. It works, but the above post is correct. It's easier to use the set top box. If I'm not at my TV, what do I care what is on?
It does, however, allow you to view your shows set up to record, and to set shows to record. While that may be occasionally useful, I'll probably forget I have that capability and never use it.
No pooint if they don't suppose live streaming right? I just checked, it's available on the market, but I don't wanna download a stupid and useless app..

I have the app on my Transformer and I use it allot. It can control all of the boxes in my house and change the channel as well. Pretty useful if you have you tab in hand.

I was just reading online that there is now a TIVO app, but it seems like it isn't available for my sensation? Any ideas why?

I can't download it either. Funny thing is when it was released on Friday I could and did. Then I had to reset my phone and forgot to back up that app. Went to download it in the Market and it won't let me. Funny my My Touch 3G could download it though.
