I updated my TF to 3.2.1 (WWW) and decided to root and for no reason known to me my TF refuses to go to APX mode.
I had root prior to the update and no CWM recovery.
Any help will be appreciated.

I've just rooted my 2nd transformer using the transformer root kit for 3.1, and then flashed Prime 1.4 through CWM but i have lost all touch input on my device. What have I done wrong? Is there anyway to fix it?
Thanks in advance

Turn off device, enter in APX mode and use NVflash to install stock ROM 3.1 + root + CWM. Try if this can help, if not, take up an RMA
Hi all,
I just received the OTA (21/8/2011 version) update on my TW transformer. The notification icon is on and ask me to install the update. Once it goes to restart, the update fails and an exclaimation mark next the the Green robot appears. Luckily it didnt' brick my machine but the update simply can't apply.
My transformer is rooted, is that an issue with OTA update? What should I do?
Thanks in advance.
Do you have a custom recovery installed such as clockwork? I know that for the OTA updates to work, you have to have the stock recovery.

Yes. Installled CWM. So I have to remove CWM and install the stock recovery? Any method to do so?
Recover to stock boot and recovery, you will be able to update and root again.

Succeed. I unroot and recover the stock recovery image and it can update now. Nice to see the mouse pointer back in action. Thanks.
Just got back my tf101 from the new service center. The info from the about tablet ..
Model : Transformer TF101
Version : 3.2
GPS : 1.5.0
Wi-Fi : 5.2.53
BTooth : 6.19
Kernel : 2.6.36.3-00001-g717a0f0
[email protected] #1
Build : HTJ85B.TW_epad-8.6.5.7-20110730
MDock : EP-101-0213
Is this the latest firmware? From some sites, the firmware is 8.6.5.9 OTA update shows no new version.
Is this version bootlock? I tried but cannot. Stuck at the green android screen.
Any comments?
To know if you're tab is bootlock, you have to check your S/N near the connector on your tab.
If it start by B70K, you may have the SBK V1 but you can have the V2 aswell(bootlocked) But if it start by B80K, you have the V2 and your bootloader is locked.

My serial serial starts with a B40K... Initially, I can root the device. After returning back from service center as I've some booting problem, I just cannot go into recovery mode.
If they overwrote the os, cwm would have been taken out.
you probably need to reroot, and install cwm again.

Just like when you rooted originally, you'll have to root first than install cwm.
Just use NVFlsh

You can install TRWP 2.2.2.0 with Terminal Emulator apk
If you can push the blob files on your internal SDcard, after you can just follow the process TWRP 2.2 - Asus Transformer TF300T(G) page
but for rooted your TF, you will need one computer...
If you get the recovery working. I would assume you could flash a new rom stock or custom thats rooted already

No idea about the toolkits, since I've never needed it. If you dont want to risk bricking your device via bad toolkits, you can check out how to get nvflash (sorta like fastboot, but not) working on your device directly and use that to flash alternate recovery:
http://androidroot.mobi/2012/05/27/introducing-wheelie-nvflash-for-asus-transformer-tf101-b70/
As for ROM...
I recommend my CM10.1 builds. Stable. Has nightly builds if you want a constant stream of updates. About as fast as this device gets. Certainly much better than anything stock has to offer.
I would also recommend Timduru's Team EOS ROM. He does a fantastic job maintaining it and has rapid updates as well. It's not CM. It's Team EOS. It's different.
Both are 4.2-based. Try both and see which one you like

I know that PERI still works to install CWM, and also EasyFlasher works to root in APX mode.
The last time I flashed back to stock I used Wolf's Method 3 to root so I could jump straight to TWRP 2.3.2.3.
PERI installs a version of CWM. If you are going to run any 4.2 ROMs, you should use TWRP 2.3.2.3 or RaymanFX's 6.X.X.X recoveries to handle the new multi-user file structure.
EasyFlasher flashes 2.2.X.X TWRP. You can just replace the TWRP blob in the file structure with the 2.3.2.3 if you want and flash straight to 2.3.2.3.
I have gotten more into using adb and terminal commands with working on some boot animations, so I used Wolf's method to jump straight to TWRP.
Thank you guys

Sure.
I would still use TWRP myself, but you can just load the files you want to flash on the /sdcard/ directory.
I know that TWRP will not wipe the /sdcard/ directory unless you wipe the data partition. A factory reset in recovery only wipes the /data/ partition and skips the /data/media/ partition (/sdcard/).
Keep in mind, if you do not have a microSD and you get to a point where you cannot boot other than to recovery, you will need to use adb to push a zip file to the /sdcard/ to flash it.
IMO, it is worth the $10-$15 to get a small (4-16 GB) microSD to do nandroid backups and make it easier to flash ROMs.
Also, many of the CWM recoveries can only see the /sdcard/. I know that the RaymanFX Hybrid CWM 6.X.X.X has a few versions, Internal only, External Only and Hybrid (can see both internal and external) storage.
Thx.. yea ive been using nexus devices forever so ive lost all my micro sd lol

You need to hold those keys until the splash screen comes.
When it tells you to press vol up to boot recovery you release per +boom down and just press vol up.
It should then tell you it is boring recovery before the twrp spak screen appears.
