Hi Everyone,
I like to do my first kernel flash using Gingerbread 2.3.4 Kernel v1.1-XXJVQ. Is it applicable to my phone?
If so, instead of using Odin to flash can I also use the DarkyRom tool wich is already on my phone?
Thanks!

Hey there,
I have recently flashed to Kyrillos v10.6. This rom contains ICS theme but it is not fully supported by my phone. Can it be because of the kernel? If yes, is it possible to flash a new kernel or it will ruin the rom? ( I guess the current kernel came with the rom).
Thanks for your answers.
flashing kernel
no you cant flash a new kernel for the rom.
@ Alberto96:
i'm using the galxysmtd flashed w/ the [ROM][IMM76I] ICS F4k MOD v4.0.4 r4 + your Kernel for that ROM; i wonder if flashing the newest Gear Kernel 1.1.0 for ICS on top of that ROM will bring any upgrade / improvement or the current pkg on my phone is already the max i can have w/ it.
Thanks
Hello everyone,
I have a Samsung Galaxy S Advance (GT - I9070), Android Version: 4.1.2, Baseband version: I9070DDULP8, Kernel version: 3.0.31 - CoCore - E - 6.0, Build number JellyMOD 4.0, It shows a Nexus UI when I switched ON the device. I have used this OS from past 1 yr.
Now I would like to restore the firmware to gingerbread (India) and restore the default factory Kernel (Samsung) from CoCore E 6.0
I've searched on the internet for the default kernel, but couldn't find one. Is there a way to revert it to the stock kernel?
Can someone help me with step-by-step guideline(s)
Best regards,
Cyrus
