Really loving the UI in this new app. If they unify the interface to look this good, i shall be happy.
Works fine for me.

don't really need a revamp, just feature additions...the homepage of the facebook app (I think) is sexy.
New app looks great here.
Regarding the facebook app... who even uses it for anything other than updating? Every time you try to do anything it just opens the browser.

Aye, don't forget to reboot after the uninstall
Oh, wow, if this is a prelude to what we can expect in Gingerbread, sign me right up. And not just a pretty face but with added functionality! There's something awfully cool about the video playing right away, and flipping it into landscape for full screen. No performance lag, either.
It doesn't have "Most..." tabs anymore, though, not that I ever gave a **** about those.
How do I comment on a video?

How to uninstall DSPManager

well as the title says, i have been disappointed with the volume of the Nexus s and i was pointed towards this app.
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.TEST.android.lvh&feature=search_result
WOW. If you guys suffered the same as me, 99p well spent right there!
Now i dont need DSPManager though.... So how do i uninstall it?
Thanks
You can do it in Titanium Backup, pretty sure there are no ill effects, I used the Freeze option to remove it from my Nexus.

Hmm im relucntant to use Titanium, i remember cyanogen himself saying it was bad :/ Maybe im just paranoid
I guess you could use Modaco's Eezy Freezy, but I've not used that myself.
You can use root explorer and just delete the apk file. Think that's the best way if you don't want to use any other Apps to delete it. You can also use ADB to uninstall it.

i also removed the DSP with Titanium, it working fine,no problems so far after 1 month

If the dsp came with the rom and it's uninstallable through android's built in app manager then you can delete it in
/system/app
That's where all the system apps are. Make sure you mount /system first so you can delete an apk.

thanks i try it on my phone now it killed both speaker and headset bass asnt editable...
found this thread very helpful. I am running Beanstalk on my nexus 5 and was having issues with DSP manager. Any time I wanted to listen to music from my Google Music account I would get a "DSP manager stopped working" pop up ... and even if you hit OK it keeps popping for every song.
Here is how I fixed it.... used Tweaker 2 to uninstall DSP manager and downloaded an Equalizer from the play store. Works like a charm now. Thanks XDA community ... saved the day again:good:

Download Google Music 4.0.1:http://www.multiupload.com/HDU1GPTDXM
But where to download the Google+ v2 app
Thinking of moving offline cache (/sdcard/Android/data/com.google.android.music) to external_sd (the "real" sd card).
How could I do ?
Tried:
moved data/com.google.android.music to /sdcard/external_sd/data/com.google.android.music
With terminal emulator,
su (yes, I've root up and running)
ln -s /sdcard/external_sd/data/com.google.android.music /sdcard/Android/data/data/com.google.android.music
but it says to me operation not permitted
hhhmmm... perhaps a filesystem not supporting symlinks...
Please post the apks I can't find them :/
Found them both
Thanks for sharing.
Thanks. Installed the music app and it works great.

EDIT: Both issues below have been solved.
the music app won't show music in the cloud, only offers to connect via usb, even though it asked for permission...
Update: Tried deleting cache again, relaunched and was working.
google+ app asks me to select an account to use, then says 'unable to connect to the server'...
Update: as whips said, it was a permission issue
i'm new to android, what am I doing wrong.
att galaxy s2 rooted
uninstalled previous versions in both instances
for google+ to work you need to allow permission, look for an exclamation icon in the status bar and grant both music and g+ permission then you can connect.

Did anyone notice that the Google+ widget is no longer available? Or maybe only on my device... Samsung S5830L running GR 1.4
UPDATE
Nevermind, read the AndroidPolice post, it's only available to tablets. Bummer, looks like it's back to G+ 1.0...

For music first uninstall whichever google music you have installed then reboot and install the new one.If your music that you uploaded won't show up go to settings-applications-google music-clear data then it should work.
music app hiding in background
I un-installed the music app using titanium back up pro
> Installed music2.apk
>pasted music2.apk in system/app folder using root explorer
Now music app is present in back ground but doesn't show up anywhere on the phone. Any suggestions on how to make it work?
Edit : Rebooted and installed the apk again and it works superfine.
Do I have to uninstall Music 2.3 too? I uninstalled 3.0, but it's still failing to install it. I've rebooted several times, and re-downloaded the APK. I'm running stock Gingerbread on a Nexus S.

Music app from stock

I installed a ROM, it deleted the stock music player app. I got the apk of the app(stock music player) but it won't install. I tried to move it to system/aaps and install it. Didnt work. I tried to change the permissions to rw-r-r and reboot. Still no. I then tried to delete the music player that came with the ROM and install the stock one but still didn't work. Please help me!
