This is my 1st attempt at making a rom i haven't changed anything just trying to get every thing workng correctly. Please dont get salty if it sucks. I will hopefully be able to fix whats broke and add some personal touchs along the way. I just dont see many devlopers give the G2x love and wanted to keep some fresh rom's and kernels coming this way

********Update added a few more Tweeks as well as Zeam Launcher, and EyeCandy Theme.*******
How To Install.
1- Make a back up.
2- Put ZIP on root of SD card.
3- Boot into recovery
4- Do a full wipe
5- Install Zip
6- Install Gapps
7- Fix Permissions
8- Reboot and Enjoy
*(Optional)9-To apply EyeCandy Theme open Theme Chooser and select it for some reason there a blank screen for the preview.Hit apply anyway and reboot to take full affect.
*(Optional)10-Zeam launch is my favorite so i added it. It allows you so put commonly used apps in the bottom and you can scroll it left to right. It help keep screen clustter to a minimum. My configuration is Item spacing small background transparent, auto-fit iteams and i like app grid to be vertical scrolling with 6x6 lay out. Mess around with it if you don't like it the normal ADW launch is there as well. If you use EyeCandy them you need to re-drag the new Theme icons to the Launcher row.

Not so much on porting, would love to get some advice, just got the hole Java thing going on learning a butt load every day. Just was going to try to tweak this and get thing working. Any help would be appreciate. I'm using this ROM on my device now so far so good. It seems like everyday im getting better and better with developing and programming. just Wanted to give the G2x some love, and see if i can't get a stable, fast, smooth running ROM for this device.

Still have to hard reboot to get apn working. As the same with all cm7 roms. But everything seems to run great. What are the difference with this rom versus the nightly cm7 160?

Only changes at this point is to frame works, and other minor tweeks. Just trying to improve stability and speed. Will be making other changes over time. Adding themes, different kernels, etc. Thank you guys for the support, glad to be invited into the scene with open arms.

Reboot thru menu always gave me APN issues...i always had to turn off and turn on. I never had APN issues that way

This is the best looking battery mod I've seen, great work. I tried flashing a couple times on cm7 rc2 and couldn't get it to work.
I was able to get it visible by going in status tweaks and disable the show battery percentage, but every time i just got a blue box that said "edit text low on space". i could constantly close the box and they would pop right back up. it was also blue instead of green like in your screenshot, but it still looks good. if you made a cm7 rc2 compatible version, i'd definitely use it

Ok here is a link for cm7 rc2 batt mod. It may very well change your lock screen because I'm basing the mod off of the original rom. Wipe dalvic cache. Then flash. Try resetting lock screen after. I've ran this a couple hours with no probs.

I feel defeated lol. I tried the rc2 mod 3 times and got the battery indicator to show up, but when I unlocked the screen, all I got was a lot of force close notices with no home screen loading up.
I decided to try the nightly #31 and just got a boot loop each time I flashed it. Then I decided to try flashing each version battery mod(including the 2 circle battery mod) to each nandroid backup I had and just got boot loops. I even started wiping the dalvik multiple times before the flash to see if it helped
I must have something causing a conflict,but I doubt I can narrow it down. When I did get the icon to show up, it didn't change my lockscreen this time. I appreciate the time you spent working on this, and I will follow your threads to keep up with your work

Everything works and I kept the apps down to a minimum so there would be less issues with apps. I do not have hdmi cable for testing.

What's with the clown logo? That's not a Misfits logo. If this is the Misfits ROM, it should have more Misfits imagery. You should have made the background a Crimson Ghostdroid or a Misfits album cover, or replaced the gray android contact pics with the Crimson Ghost or just give the Android head a devilock.
You should incorporate the number 138 somehow, or Halloween. As long as you don't acknowledge anything from the post-Danzig era, it should be golden.
Or the background could be Marilyn Monroe from her last movie. That would be easy to look at and still Misfits-related.
I don't know. I shouldn't be so critical. I don't even like Sense. I just saw "Misfits ROM" with a Crimson Ghost avatar next to it, and I got my hopes up. I just think that there's a lot of Misfits potential that isn't quite being realized. Whatever, though; it's your ROM. Make it however you want. I just wanted to give my opinion as a Misfits fan. Good luck with your ROM.

Ok so this is my first attempt at a CM7 theme, but I had some request to do this. So here it is!! I still have some things to theme out (such as gallery, and camera). I also have to work out some issues with the font color.
This has been tested and works on CM7.0.3.1. I am running it on my phone now, I test all my own stuff!

Can you elaborate more about your idea of animations?
Its gonna be a blue highlighted theme like when u press the button turns blue so anything like that with some sort of blue will be fine

just like a silver background with a blue text that says KINGS and hey if ya think there should be more to the boot animation you can add stuff to it you're the kind one to make me one

lreyes15...I know you're young and all DUDE but you should of NEVER posted this crap up here! This thing reboots every 5-6 seconds, freezes up when it doesn't reboot and to top it off........you lied about the FFC which btw came to no shocker considering some great minds have tried to get this to work and have come up short
I mean, how do you expect people to believe that you FIXED the FFC but can't figure out how to switch kernels on your ROM...hahahaha
Anyways man, if you need help getting this ROM to decent form then PM me but again, you should really take your ROM down for now until is usable!

If everything goes wrong, tell my Evo that he did a great job although I would end up replacing by a One X
EDIT: The Rom boots, but it's a pain to go through the apps, I got to many reboots (even after changing the kernel) that I was forced to go back to my previous rom. I wouldn't recommend to flash it right now, just do it if you want to waste your time trying to proof me wrong

Ok after download, definatley doesnt look like your screen shots... A lot of chinese still on boot and after boot asked if I wanted to update something, hit yes come to find out its the home launcher, asked me 8 times. Hmmmmmm PRI is different, other than that its smooth.

Yhea it will ask u for an update of the mihome hit yes u know it will ask like 4 times about the screenshots yea that's one of the Thousand themes u can get from the theme manager app

This thing running awesome. Only one question. Is anyone experiencing weak wifi? I'm 10 feet from my home router and only got one wifi bar. Had full bars on other roms.

Love this ROM! Very smooth. Best ROM I have tried out in a long while. Battery life is awesome. Connection is fast. Highly recommend trying this ROM. I will be using it as a daily for a while.
I do have one small simple question though.....Is USB tethering enabled on this ROM? I know people rarely use it since everyone has wireless tethering. But I have an old laptop without a wireless card that im doing work on and so I need to use my phone to get any kind of wireless on it. The phone says "Unable to connect" when I turn the USB tethering on. I even tried a 3rd party app off the market and it wont work. Just curious if everyone is getting this or if this is unique to me?
