It looks like that was for getting Hulu Plus to work when the Sensation wasn't officially supported by the app yet.
I'm asking is it possible to watch videos on Hulu.com on the Sensation, ie via the browser, not the app?

Lol. Shouoda read a lil bit closer. Maybe set browser to view site as desktop if that doesnt work then idk. My bad
HTC Pyramid 4G

that help me

Doh, before loading any video, it says:
"Unfortunately Hulu is not supported on your platform."
This is with Dolphin browser with Desktop User Agent.
Has anyone figured out a way to watch Hulu on a Sensation (without the app)?

i wish let me know if you found away

Doh

Which brings another question to the table, why doesnt changing the user agent in browsers actually fool websites, and is there a way around it?

It does sometimes.
I think some websites look at the user agent and that's it.
While others will look at the browser and OS you're using. So if you're on "Desktop" user agent, but have an Android browser and running the Android OS, it's obvious you're not on a desktop.
I think it depends on the website, and how thoroughly they check.

this works for me.. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1243556

Hey how did you get this to work?
Even if I uninstall/remove Flash completely via Titanium Backup, this version will not install.

I love the mobile Firefox 4, it's nice to have everything since between pc's and phone so that you can continue whatever you were doing wherever you are.

I like using just straight up Dolphin or Dolphin HD, thing I don't like about Firefox 4 is that there's no flash
I've been using Dolphin HD Browsed since my nexus one days.
I Love It.
My search history and cache delete on exit, so my wife never knows I been looking at porn. LOL
in the stock browser you have to delete manually
Anyone use Skyfire?

Hey, I was just curious why I can download sometimes from a thread and sometimes I can't. It will say download unsuccessful. Is it a setting or is it the ROM? I'm running TPC 3 right now btw.

[Q] What will ICS do for the browser?

I have a xoom & some websites i go to like as far the scrolling & page rendering is horrific. My friend who has a dang ipad comes along & loads & scrolls through the same pages on his ipad with ease. Will ICS do anything for the browser?
Maybe any links to what the browser is capable of in ICS?
Check the development forum...ICS is amazing, and the browser is much faster now.

Pretty much this. I have noticed a big difference in page rendering on ICS. I won't go as far as to say it's revolutionary because I don't think HC was that bad, but it is definitely improved.
Some pages, like XDA forums, are particularly bad in the honeycomb browser. No such issue on ICS browser. This page renders and scrolls smoothly, just like many other.
Thanks for the replies. I just picked up the Asus Transformer Prime & the keyboard dock. I'm looking forward to ICS on this baby.

One major difference is the iPad is not loading the Adobe Flash content/ads. XDA is extremely bad because of all the ads it has embedded. My suggestion is (if your not using my ROM) is to get an ad blocker, pages will load much faster.

Like others have said, the ICS browser is much better at rendering and scrolling. The keyboard doesn't lag in the browser either. I have still had issues where links or new web pages will not load, which requires force stopping the browser.

The only other browser that I've used on ICS is the new Firefox. Firefox isn't as snappy as the ICS browser but doesn't seem to have the issues with links not opening. I'm also not a huge fan of the Firefox UI, so I tend to use the stock browser most of the time.
I find that setiing plug ins to "on demand" makes a big difference, the browser isn't trying to load all the flash stuff then. Mine is now pass able, still not as smooth as the ipad or ie9 in wp7 but I do have flash available which mostly makes up for the laggy performance.
definatly alot smoother.

I have a copy and paste app that just takes a long press to activate. Clip It works really well. There are quite a few free apps that do this...they are just resident and are available when you need them.
The long press can do wonders in android...many possibilities.

Get Chrome from market if you are on ICS

In case you forgot, you can run Google Chrome on your ICS device now (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.android.chrome&hl=en). There are some goodies there which are not available in stock browser and you might like it better.
Agreed, it is smother than the stock browser, plus, you have all your chrome bookmarks automatically synchronized. Also, you can access the pages you have opened in other computers and devices (which is cool and scary at the same time).

It's by far the greatest advantage of Mobile Chrome... being reading something in my laptop, then leaving and continuing to read the same thing, effortlessly, is pretty cool.
Or if I run into a page some cool Android app while on my computer, instead of e-mailing the link, I just open Chrome Mobile, and there's the page.
But there's no flash

It will NEVER support flash.
And I still find that Quick ICS Browser is faster and more responsive.
Best selling point for Chrome to me is the bookmark syncing. Thats huge IMHO and I think it should have been implemented from the start with Android.

Probobly this
Google's new Chrome web browser for Android will never get support for Adobe Flash, Ars Technica reports.
This doesn't come as much of a surprise, since Adobe previously stated that it was finished working on Flash for mobiles.
So effectively, mobile Flash is officially on the way out. Even though Adobe itself has given up on it, that hasn't stopped plenty of manufacturers from continuing to advertise Flash as a selling point for Android.
Ars Technica deftly points out:
When Google eventually moves to replace the default Android browser with Chrome in future versions of the Android platform, devices that run the operating system will likely no longer be able to play Flash content in the browser.

No! Wonder who made that excecutive decision. I don't know if that's a good or bad thing yet. People use the phones more than a home computer. So you would think they would want to work harder on mobile flash. I'm still kinda in denial about this whole thing,

Last I read, Flash was going away. In favor of HTML5? So not everyone will be supporting it in the future.
I'm using Chrome Beta also. It's not 100% ready for prime time, but works pretty well so far. And the fact it syncs bookmarks with my home Chrome browser is HUGE for me.
But I wish it were easier to add mobile-only bookmarks. It's not super friendly in that area yet. I love Dolphin browsers home page where I can add quick bookmarks.
So OK, how is it that I can't find it on Play? Is it because I'm on superlite ICS and if so, is there a way I can trick Play to show me everything?
I tried Chrome and it is ok, but has handy features missing. I'll stick to stock, which has all my Chrome bookmarks synced to it anyway, it is super fast.
