[WIP Theme] 7/27 Tester Link! Droid X meets Sense for CM6

Trying to get an idea of interest in a theme like this.
Inspiration came from Bezerker.
Themed out in all red with out the over kill on the eyes.
All icons are left original Droid X colors.
Many Thanks are due and will come if I decide to release!
Also, I'm in need of someone who could help me with text color...
I'm trying to have white text against the dark buttons.
Ok, I'm putting this link up for the those who'd like to test...There shouldn't be any issues besides the buttons which I'm working on. I haven't themed ADW yet...that'll happen tonight if i can get to it. Also this is from a free Mediafire account so it might be limited. If you don't get a copy and want one PM me.

Droid X Themed LauncherPro v0.7.0.4
Install: In recovery, system mounted -- adb push SCM-LauncherPro.apk /system/app/

I've pretty much already done this and it's complete, but the only real issues that remain are fixing the 'press' color for the pc sync app on the phone and, like in your screenshot, removing the black horizontal lines from buttons. I just don't feel like releasing it unfinished

by icons, do you mean browser phone, etc? if so, that is awesome.
if you need a tester or two to provode feedback, im available.

Actually, I have to correct myself. This IS the best theme I've ever used.
The only real "problem" is dark text, and those little lines shown I'm that last pic of the Calender.
Good work. My suggestion to you is to put a donate link when this is formally released.

I did not modify the keyboard.
Change clock color to white in CM settings.

also, my notification bar isn't black as seen in the screenshots, did i miss something?
EDIT: had to set the theme to STOCK in CM settings for the flat bar

Yeah, I reflashed the keyboard after your mod and the keyboard's working fine now.
I did change the color to white for clock and calendar after the post, I simply didn't want to edit a third time
One more thing: It's missing the menu icons / menu theme, it's still white.
Loved the theme. Thanks!

OP, I thought the Wifi icon and the Signal strength were green on GB. Anyway, it's awesome and I'm using it on my Evo.

The SDK didn't have green icons but I found them, update coming soon. Uploading to mediafire right now.

Changed the statusbar icons to green. Someone please post a screenshot as I'm not running CM6.1.

This is win... This is very win...

First, nice work sonnysekhon.
Second. I'm having an error. When I try to flash de .zip, this error popout:
"E: Missing file:
system/app/RomManager.apk
E: Verification failed"
I don't know why said that, and less why i need the RomManager to apply the theme.
Any help?

has anyone tried flashing this over gummy 1.8. I understand I may loose some of the gummy functionality but thats ok, this theme is awesome.

CM7 Theme Chooser Themes

So, I'm making a thread just to tell you guys about this awesome theme I found somewhere around the forums called WizMod. Download it right away. It has very nice icons to it, and (my favorite) colored Settings icons.
Anyways, this is a thread about all CM7 Theme chooser themes.

Why dont you give a link? Ive also searched around, the one under android section doesnt work. And the colored nightlies needs to be updated, otherwise I would use that. I dont know where to get to many themes that go with CM7 since its updated so often also.

Theme I recommend is Mixer.

Reboot your phone.
It happened to me too, but rebooting cured the issue for me.

I LOVE "Captivated".
It is bright and colorful and has a stock battery % (unlike Mixer last I checked).
"Captivated" is a very well done theme and was just updated the other day to provide some more awesome goodness. I think I got it in the Market for 99 but it is well worth it + Dev Love.

No I don't think so.
The Theme Engine can be built into any rom, but I don't think they include the Themes. If they did, you'd have a "Themes" app with several default selections.
The Theme App is a hot-swappable theme selector. No restarts required. You can download most themes from the market or install them manually from an APK like the OP posted.
It is one of the reasons why I'm addicted to CM7... that plus the customizable drop down data toggles.

I'm running 56, though by now they're up to 58. The only problems are very, very minor. Cyanogenmod is the best ROM available if you're looking for breadth of features.

Wifi doesn't work for me on cm7, up to build 58. I'd like to use this on ultimate rom. I still don't think theirs a link for the mod to rebuild for different roms

Honestly think I'm going to get CM7, was afraid but I guess if I have backups it would do be no harm right?
But battery life? How is that

Also, there's a useful tool called notification restart (on the market) that will restart your notification bar. So if you install a new theme, the power notification menu disappears until reboot. However, if you choose your theme, then use the app, you won't have to reboot when choosing themes.

Hi, I use the captivated theme free on my g2x with Eagleblood using EB 2.3.4 v1.5 and it work fine.
as a matter of fact I type CM7 theme in the market and able to use most of them...Hope that help

I use xboarders stock gb/ cm7 remix. Its the stock gb leak with all the cm7 fun stuff. All the themes work for me and thee cm7 setting are awesome

But in all seriousness, Honeybread is the best-looking I've ever seen a phone. Context irrelevent, it's just that good.
I'm working on a theme of my own atm, though it will probably never get finished. Damn .9.png files...

I'm actually really glad he dug up this thread. I've been trying out captivated for most of the day and LOVE it! I like the color Touchwiz brought to my SGS4g and Vibrant and I'm glad I can get some of it back.

Here is the Kernel Source for the Official CyanogenMod 7.2 ROM that I used as a base.
Is a fantastic slim rom, GB 2.3.7 goodness what more to ask for
It takes on the resemblance of iOS in many ways possible super sleek, fast and under 70mb. Its beautiful :victory:
It doesnt have 4G. But its in the works, you can count on it coming
There isn't any other way to describe how awesome this little rom is so lets move on to what works and what doesnt.

Whats planned in the future of this rom you say?

Make Joy look more like an iPhone
The best part about android is you can theme it to what ever you like
You will need the following apps:
Espier Launcher
Espier Browser
iPhone keyboard emulator
iPhone Notifications
Chomp SMS
These are all free apps that will make your Joy install look like iPhone a bit more
Last but not least, you are gonna need iPhone wallpapers! (these are not flashable, decompress and move to your sd card then apply with a file manager)

So far working great. The only issue I've had so far is the status bar force closes. Tried a permission fix and that didn't work. Anyone else have problems with the status bar? Can't wait for 4g or a JB update...that would be nice!

I only have issues with the status bar when i have it plugged into my computer and tap hide in the pull down.
does it crash all the time, or when a specific action was done?

My status bar crashes and never comes back...probably try reflashing the Rom.

Easy enough fix... just change the font!
I'm not sure what I chose atm but I also think there's a tool to scale fonts if someone wanted to fix the proper font for the rom. Something I looked into before roboto became the standard for Android and I thought I'd try the alternative.
I may find a sound pack, an ios theme for ICS keyboard and then Nandroid a backup to play with from time to time!

When trying to set up Exchange email, Settings force closes when the account begins to set up as Device Administrator. Aside from that, everything seems to work.

Any idea how to get USB to mount

Thanks all 60 apps that I always load were ok only three of them I get that message I was on the gapps in the opp then o wiped both caches and put the one with new talk even tried Mason kernel nothing I tried wound get them back. like The rom, I seem to have more available ram
