Not many thread about this on forum.
I have run into official sonyericsson dev website where it said
Code:
Attention: Xperia mini (ST15i) and Xperia mini pro (SK17i)
– please do not unlock these phones.
There is an issue with flashing the original kernel via Fastboot.
so, I'm wondering, have someone from XDA team found a solution for this, or have any information about SE dev work on this issue?

Hi!
I learned that SE has released xperia mini (and mini pro) with the latest android (2.3).Also SE made this phone's bootloader to be unlock (all 2011 realeses).
I just want to ask if it is possible to somehow port it to our X8? I'm no expert at these things but I'm being positive that it can be done.
Thank you!
Hey everyone. I try to root my Sony Xperia PRO Mk16i by following that tutorial! http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1865796!
My device is dead now, because i can't find that "Xperia Pro ICS 4.0.4 MK16i 4.1.B.0.587 Central Europe.rar". I need to flash that kernel in my device to use it again. Now i can't see anything on screen!
I have just one step. From where i can download that? You can help me? :crying:

So, I asked a friend to install cyanogenmod lollipop on my device couple of months ago. Now that the official Xperia update is out and because I don't like cyanogenmod, I want to install the official lollipop release on my device. Currently I have official sony android version 4.4.4 flashed on my rom. My phone's bootloader is unlocked so, I can't update it through the official OTA release. (Also, I do not have a backup of my DRM keys)
So either help me re-lock my bootloader, or tell me how to flash the official Sony Xperia Z lollipop on my phone!
Device: Sony Xperia Z (C6602)
Current Android Version: 4.4.4
Bootloader: Unlocked

Hello, and welcome to XDA!
Looks like your device made it as far as KitKat unofficially (or even Lollipop)...case in point
At any rate, post here...
> Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini, Mini Pro, Xperia Pro, Active, Ray, Live with Walkman > Xperia Mini, Mini Pro, Xperia Pro, Active, Ray, Live with Walkman Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting > [Q/A] GENERAL CHAT (post here instead of making a new thread}
...with your model number and ask what your options are for custom ROMs (as official Sony ROM's stopped at 4.0.4). Don't do any of the "which are the best" subjective nonsense , just, which are available for you.
Please note, you will need to register for an XDA account before you can post there.
Hope this helps, and good luck!
Hi everyone!
I'm starting this thread as I myself need help with rooting my Sony Xperia M2 [D2303] [Lollipop 5.1.1 - 18.6.A.0.182] using OS X.
I have an unlocked bootloader already and previously tried to flash a custom recovery which failed and put me into a soft-brick situation with continuous bootloop.
Now I think i'm going to ask you all for help rather than make any further mistakes myself.
Really a definitive guide for OS X users is needed.
Thank in advance!
If you have unlocked bootloader why don't you updated your bootloader than flash SuperSu? There's thread by @linuxct on how to update bootloader. It shouldn't be any different than Windows
Good Luck!
