Doesn't work with tegra 2.

Holy cow it actually works. Androidscreencast I mean.
The problem with androidscreencast is that it's gotta be connected via usb. No way to do wireless.
I don't get it. There are hundreds of people here who knows about android infinitely more than I do. No one here is willing to help me out?

[BOOTANIM] Zion!

Zion!
Thanks - B1-66ER
Grab it from nobcat HERE
Plonk it in /system/media

This is the bootanim that has been rolled out with Roach's Prime v2.0.1 which gets removed after the 1st boot.
Due to it's popularity I have decided to release it as a standalone bootanim.
Knock yourselves out
is there a way to just get the red android gears "loading prime" as a bootanimation? i would really appreciate it
Please quit clicking the thanks button. His ego is almost to big to fit on IRC.

Open the zip and take out the parts you dont want. Zip it back up without compression and away you go.
BTW....not a good idea to post the same question in 2 threads. It makes CaNsA grumpy and the last thing I want to deal with is a crazy loud obnoxious CaNsA on IRC
EDIT: sorry thats normal for him

[SOLVED] Can't sign in to Amazon app store

Just got my HOX today and can't figure out why I can't sign on to the Amazon app store. I downloaded the latest apk from Amazon and it installs fine but it gives me a "please enter a valid email and password" message every time I try to sign in. I even went through the lost password wizard and changed it with the same result. WTF?
Known issue? Something wrong with Amazon? An I am idiot?
Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk 2
Just downloaded it today. Works fine for me on WiFi. Got it logged in and everything.
If you're on mobile try logging in when on WiFi, if you're on WiFi try logging in when only connected to mobile. I used to have some weird problems like that.

go to amazon.com, login, go to devices and deregister all your devices. Once you hit like 20+ it wont allow you to sign in anymore. Its stupid really, but w/e. Its a common problem for flashaholics like myself.

That was it, thanks! I never would have figured it out on my own. Could Amazon not write an appropriate error message so their customers know what's going on?
By the way, I counted and number is 25.

Has anyone seen a lollipop ROM for the Inspire/Desire?

I'm not expecting a lollipop update, but it sure would be cool to dust off the old device and give it a fresh coat of paint. Anyone know of somebody who's developing for it? I'd donate to the cause.:good:

"Mustas cm 12" is not for the HTC Desire/Inspire. It is for the HTC One M7. Huge Difference. It would be nice to find something Kitkat or above to lower the power consumption. Blackout's ICS was a great flash except for the fact that your phone goes dead in 20 min. Does 4.4 and up even support a single core? I just want to be able to use my old Inspire for scripting and playing ePSXe.apk and DraStic EMU's. Thank you marknoll for pointing our dinosaurs in the right direction though.

Dude. Wtf. Yes it is! I know the diff's between devices. I been modding and hacking for a very long time. And yes, mustas cm 12 IS a lollipop based ROM. Don't come on here and insult my intelligence. Dhd and inspire have compatible Roms. I'm running cm 12 musta on my inspire now
---------- Post added at 01:46 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:43 PM ----------
So, before u go running off your mouth, maybe you should research the compatibilities between these two devices.

If your intelligence was insulted then that sounds personal problem. If you would have just posted the link to the mod in the first place instead of trying to make yourself look smart then I would have just flashed my phone and thanked you. Instead I searched for "mustas cm 12" and only found it for an "HTC One M7". Obviously you didn't read my post or you would have realized that I said nothing about there being a difference between a Desire HD and an Inspire. So put it back in your pants, I have a strong suspicion you aren't as smart as you think you are or you'd know that "compatibilities" is not a word.
Yes. Compatibilities is a word. Second of all, maybe you need to learn to read clown. I said must as cm12 is a ROM for the inspire and dhd. Can't get any simpler than that

Yes, I was mistaken as to the what devices cm 12 works or doesn't work on, and I removed my comment so that no one would be misled by it. I had no intention of trolling you and even thanked you for pointing us in the right direction. But you, you are exquisitely pathetic, trying to insult me every few minutes, thinking I was actually reading what you were saying just because my browser was logged into this forum. What are you, 12? Do you get your rocks off hanging around this forum all day everyday showing off to people like you're some significant developer. Don't your eyes get tired after stalking people on this forum non-stop, marking your favorite threads like a dog in a yard. Did I get to close to your fence Sparky. Oh wait, maybe it's Sparkie. I'm not sure because I don't know how to read and your so smart. You really showed me, "Just what you thought". You're probably just some out of work stereo installer who learned a few lines of code but wants everyone to think he's a master hacker who's done this for soooooo long. I'm sure there's nothing you don't know, you must be god-like, especially in your weekly D&D circle. Are you the dungeon master when the other guy is too sick to play? I bet you own a suit of armor, or a collection of swap-meet samurai swords. Methinks thou drinketh much mead at the festivals of the games of war. As for my excuse, I haven't done any significant programming in almost 30 years and I'll probably learn all that you know from a few months of teaching myself from free online courses and blogs, then again I may be giving you too much credit. Any errors I made are probably the side effects from the pain killers I'm on and insomnia is finally taking its toll. Or maybe I just smoked a bowl and was too stoned to give a crap. What's your excuse? Are you just a know it all? Either way, I don't really care what you think you know, or even think of me. Go ahead and waste my time, I've got plenty of it, and even more to spare. Yip, yip, yip, Sparky.
P.S. The Lions suck! hahahahahaha:laugh:

Yip, yip, yip.... Don't give yourself a stroke. I don't really care if you are pissed, I don't know you. You're not challenging my self worth. I'm not the one getting his hackles all raised by an insomniac stoner. Seems like you could probably use a doobie yourself. It might help you with your people skills. Therapy maybe? Hey, I don't have live with you and deal with your anger issues. Remember, or scroll back, you attacked first. Not me. Well Buffy, I attended Harvard, graduating Sheila Come Loudly where I received my major "BS" degree in smartphone hacking compatibilities. I also minored in English compositionalities where they learned me that the people who created spell-check don't know how to use a dictionary. I aspired to be a moderator, but I find them too condescending and repetitive, so I just decided to ***** at people directly through forum postities. Yip, yip, yip, *****, yip, yip...

Experiencing Slow Games

Hey guys I have a Huawei Y511 which has a 512 mb ram and 1.2 gigs processor . Now i know that its a low end device and all but games which in my veiw shouldnt lag at all are lagging very much like Angry Birds GO and some 3D games.... Idk what the problem is tbh but can you please give me some ways in which I can speed up these games so i dont get any lag it can require rooting or whatever procedure but please help...... Thanks in Advance..
It seems that your device is just not build for games. If your phone is rooted you can extend your ram (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1934360)
I hope this will help you
Umm it can run fifa 14 and other games like dead trigger 2 even....
But which are graphic intensive as hell but on the other hand it starts lagging on even 80 mb games.....
You can try graphics optimizer, gltools
---------- Post added at 08:28 AM ---------- Previous post was at 08:27 AM ----------
I also had same problem but with gltools now I can play any games without lag
---------- Post added at 08:28 AM ---------- Previous post was at 08:28 AM ----------
You can find it on play, it's paid app though
Aight thanks dude but can you give me a bit of an insight on what setting exactly i should use to make it lag free ?
im a noob in this area

I cracked the file, root is must for this!
Download, go to mediafire and paste this after the slash (/):
?fa4d6fcd70s4c
It contains sb gamehacker for accessing the app. And the gltools app itself
When installing gltools and openingit, it says only real haxers can access (i am one xD)
How to hax the access?
Instructions:
Open game hacker
Open gl tools after installing with root perm.
It asks to click the button with a specific number, the button is not there so create it;
Enter the number of one of the buttons and change it to the number it asks you to press.
Then click the button that still shows the old number that you changed in the asked number.
The app now should give you access!

Different phones have different configuration, so one must try with all the configuration and see which works on his/her device. Again different games need different configuration, so I can't just tell some configuration and let him stuck in running a game overnight.

And no offense dude/gal, I did helped him at the first place, mentioning gltools, try to respect people, OK? You can't play games just using swap file. And after i mention it you just came with a cracked version and the idea "oh yeah i can play games with gltools! And I think you aren't the one who to decide whether I will stay in this group or stay in the moon! Check my profile to make sure if I've helped people or not.....
And cracking paid app/ releasing them is prohibited in XDA, don't fire on me if you get banned or something happens to you.

Lookout from T-Mobile Questions

Does anyone use it?
Should I be using it?
Does it actually work?
If no, what should I be using?
It's a well developed app and for the most part is good. I have a close friend who works as an engineer for them. However it's not necessary and I disable it myself.
If you are the type of person who downloads shady apps and goes to shady websites then it's probably worth keeping.
I pay for the insurance and it comes with the premium so I kept it like the fact takes a picture if someone tries to unlock the phone more than 3 times.
Its cool that they include it but I always disable it.

Its been a while and probably a number of devices later but I think you can just go into app and disable it, I don't think you need root.
