how many bluetooth devices can the tf support at one time - Eee Pad Transformer Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

im a wireless kinda guy and i like bluetooth
i already have a bluetooth mouse and headset for my tf that i use at the same time but if i buy a bluetooth keyboard will all three work at the same time and what about a bluetooth gamepad or media controller

The Bluetooth standard states that host devices can communicate with a maximum of seven other devices at a time. It's not mandatory that all Bluetooth-enabled devices support that many, but I don't see any reason why the Transformer couldn't handle it.

Different types of bluetooth device have different profiles. I'd be very surprised if WM had one for game controllers.

Acelerometer + wireless Keyboard/Mouse BT to other devices?

Is it possible to have Touch Pro function as a wireless bluetooth keyboard for other devices? How about have the accelerometer function as a wireless air mouse... Like logitech has?
Say connect to laptop or even a PS3?
Would it require specific installs on the remote device?

Google TV USB-UIRT commands

I have a cheap USB IR receiver that came with a small remote, which I bought for my HTPC setup (that looks like this). I never got around to using it with my HTPC (Win7), but since I bought a Sony NSZ-GT1, I thought I will give it a try, and was surprised that it was even got recognized (for those who are not aware, this setup comes with a RF remote, so you can't control it from multi-function remotes such as Logitech Harmony). I got only a few buttons to work reliably, mainly the arrows for navigation and OK for selection, but a few other buttons were getting relayed to my Dish receiver via the IR blaster. I was even able to wake it up using the remote, which is great. Since the remote only has a limited set of buttons, my guess is that Google TV already has support for a lot more commands that my remote doesn't know how to emit. I am planning to do some more experimentation with this, perhaps add a Logitech Revue as a device to my harmony and see how compatible those commands are with this device. If anybody has already tried something like this and had success, I would love to hear more.

[Q] Working on converting to android

so have a note2 and enjoying it... issue is getting media to my other devices. Currently I have an ipad1 sitting under my audio receiver connected via usb and it allows me to control spotify with my universal remote as if the receiver and ipad were one. I am thinking about buying a nexus 10 but I use my tabs for mostly media and ebooks. I want the sound and possible video (all streamed... spotify, netflix, google music, pandora) to somehow make it to my receiver and if it is video obviously make it to my tv. My receiver is a yamaha rx-373 (have a rx-473bl in the mail with networking abilities)
The solution I am looking at would preferably be something close to airplay or being able to connect my device through usb and control it with my universal remote or connect via hdmi but still charge my device. Ideal solution is being able to output everything over wifi to a receiver (maybe samsung allshare dongle) attached hdmi to my yamaha receiver. I just have no clue if that dongle will work with non samsung devices and if it will completely mirror my device.
Anyways this is what I am looking for and wasnt really trying to spend a bunch of money in trying things and paying return shipping on multiple things for what kind of knowledge probably is available here.

[Q] Bluetooth + Wifi

Is anyone successfully using a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse and Wifi simultaneously?
If I have a keyboard and mouse paired and a WiFi connection, the keyboard starts repeating keys and the mouse gets laggy. If I disconnect the WiFi, the keyboard and mouse start behaving. If I only pair one Bluetooth device, and connect the WiFi, it works fine.
I've tried the Logitech and Belkin keyboards and MS and HP mice. Similar results for all combinations, but the Logitech + MS are the least bad.
Help!

My note is on stock firmware and not rooted. I have no problems using 4 BT devices (keyboard, mouse, speaker and Samsung HM 5000 thin stick headset) simultaneously while maintaining my WIFI connection. I do have the WIFI settings on mr router fixed to channel 6 rather than auto. The issue could be with your router. I'd suggest you do some Google searches on BT interference on the make and model of your router. If that router has known issues, you may also find some suggested work arounds. Good luck.
