I wanted a cheap 3-pack of anti-glare protectors for my TouchPad, but haven't had much luck on eBay.
I purchased some regular screen protectors, and besides the glare driving me nuts, they aren't even cut right! They are way too big for the TouchPad. The corners hang over the glass and ridge of the bezel, which prevents them from lying flat on the screen (which means perma-bubbles).
Does anyone have an eBay link for a multi-pack (2 or 3 at least, just in case I screw up) of anti-glare protectors that they have used that are actually cut small enough to fit the TouchPad?
I prefer the eBay prices ($2 per protector) over something like Best Buy prices ($20-$40 per protector).
My biggest worry is about finding cheap, anti-glare protectors that feel the same as, say, the clarivue brand. The goal for me is to make the touch surface have a clarivue anti-glare feel. Sort of a cost hassle to keep trying cheaper protectors that might not feel or work the same.
I had good luck with these and would buy again: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005EC2FOI
You have to be careful installing them tho. I had problems with the first one, so installed the second one and it turned out very nice.
My wife's TP came with Zagg, which I hate so I suspect the 3rd one will go on there eventually and will be done in the bathroom with the shower running with hot water to increase the humidity. Static, dust and dirty hands are why most of these fail the first time.

How big are the protectors?
In my opinion, the optimal covering would actually leave some glass exposed by the button and the outside parameter of the glass (the primary purpose of a protector is to keep the part of the screen you actually stare into 99% of the time scratch free, the center).
This helps prevent bubbling at edges, and also gives a tiny bit of wiggle room in case it's not perfectly centered.
"Bad" protectors try to cover the glass 100%, which gives no wiggle room and increases the chance of the protector not lying flat or easily bubbling up.
H & W is about 1/16 smaller than the glass.

Have a look there: http://electroniccrap.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=54_60&products_id=74
Any of these "lower priced" options plus shipping ends up costing in the upper teens. Might as well just spend a few dollars more at that point for the brand with the guaranteed construction and feel.

This is absolutely not true. The "lower priced" options will always be the better deal.
I paid "top dollar" for brand-name protector in the past. Over $20 for just one protector. I will never do that again. They had the same supplier that provided the $1 protectors on eBay.
I have an iPhone 3GS, two iPad 2s, and a Nook Color. All of them are equipped with the absolute cheapest screen protectors I could find (less than $1 each), and they all work great. Anti-glare, smooth to the touch, and high-quality material that applied without any dust or bubbles under them.
Monoprice sells screen protectors for around $0.80. You spend less than $6 for three protectors shipped, and they are all of VERY high quality. The ones at the store with the big name-brand logo on them are of the same construction, no better, but will cost you way more, and you get just one in a package. You're paying for the brand name.
I disagree. My wife's NC has a nice matte finish and mine showed fingerprints so not all the same.
It's sometimes tricky to determine the supplier and the sameness of different protectors. Who's clarivue's supplier?
I've applied 3 or 4 different anti-glare protectors to different devices. I only use these to reduce finger prints and change the feel of the screen.
While all the types or brands I tried seemed to apply and work decently, there were obvious variances in material, fit and feel.
So, I'm not exactly arguing good deal or bad deal here. It's how many times can I guess right or wrong when reviews and descriptions don't say much on comparable construction/feel to other similar products?
Matte Screen Protectors
Hey guys can anyone here recommend a good matte screen protector for the touchpad? I got myself a zagg but find its not that smooth as my matte protector on my phone.

I have these in matte, and they work very well. They still pick up some fingerprints, but it's not nearly as bad as normal glass. I can post a picture if anyone's curious.
I picked up a cheap anti-glare one on Amazon when I purchased the tablet. It barely removes glare and still gets tons of fingerprints. It did get a nice scratch in it though, so at least it protects the screen
I bought them from handhelditems.com they are anti glare 3 set for under 10 bucks shipped. Fits perfect
ebay uk
Item number: 320773294671
I bought the same as that for £3.99 and its pretty good. Glare is noticeably lower, however need to bump the brightness up. Also haven't cleaned the screen at all last few times I have used it so finger prints are less obvious.

What screen protector is on the NC? I keep getting the ghost touches on mine. I was just looking at a cheap one at http://www.monoprice.com/products/p...=10843&cs_id=1084307&p_id=8398&seq=1&format=2

I've seen one or two screen protectors that are pictured to fit the N1, but before I go order one, I want to make sure I can't smudge and scratch it up.
I have for my MT3G the PowerSupportUSA.com screen protector for the G1, and it's served me well.
Is there anything similar or better planned soon for the Nexus?

+1. I hate to post just to say +1 but I too am in need of a screen protector. If anyone has any info on any good ones, please post. As soon as a few debut I will try different ones and hopefully remember to post results here. Also, you might want to keep an eye on http://www.seidioonline.com/ as they are getting ready to sell some N1 products. They are usually overpriced but they spawn ideas so people can cheaply copy them.
Does it not come with a protector in the box? Like the G1?
No. I was disappointed it did not come with a screen protector. I ordered a kit from amazon "Skinomi TechSkin - Invisible Cell Phone Protector Shield Full Body Skin for Nexus One - Plus LIFETIME REPLACEMENTS"
Wireless Phone Accessory;
$18.95
Free shipping.
Zagg is taking preorders for the InvisibleShield -- ships approx 1/08:
http://www.zagg.com/invisibleshield...es-screen-protectors-covers-skins-shields.php
I've never had experience with the invisibleShield line. Does anyone have any comparisons to the non-smudge/non-glare ones from powersupportusa.com referenced in my op? In order of most to least necessary, I'd like to see these qualities
1. Smudge and fingerprint proof
2. Static cling rather than adhesive backed
3. Can take a bullet to protect the screen (at least be scratch resistant)
4. glare reduction
5. Looks good.
I've not yet been able to sell my MT3G, but when I do I'm very hopeful I can buy both the screen guards, case, and phone on the same day.
Does the phone at least have a protective film that you have to peal off before you make calls or something?

I've had both the Zagg (and InvisibleShield and ClearProtector and whatnot.. they're almost the same when used on the screen) and PowerSupport anti-glare ones. I'll rate it JUST FOR THE SCREEN:
1. Zagg is somewhat fingerprint proof on the screen (better than a bare screen), but too far off from the anti-glare protectors. No comparison here, anti-glare wins.
2. Zagg is adhesive based (you need to wet it with a solution to apply). Only regular screen protectors (including anti-glare ones) are static cling.
3. Ah ha, here is what the Zagg-type stuff wins. Just view the Zagg videos and you will see they are a lot stronger than a hard plastic film. Scratch-resistant-wise, I find they both do the job well enough.
4. Zagg is somewhat anti-glare, because the surface is not even. But the "bumps" are a lot bigger/coarser than anti-glare screen protectors (like PowerSupport). Zagg-type stuff is still shiny while anti-glare ones are matte. So the anti-glare property is a lot better on (gasp,) the anti-glare screen protectors.
5. Appearance wise, it depends on what you like. The anti-glare screen protectors dim/distort the screen a bit, while the Zagg-type stuff preserves the colors better. However, the Zagg stuff has an "orange-peel" look due to the bumps, while the anti-glare protectors look smooth.
Personally, I use Zagg-type skins for the body, and an anti-glare screen protector on the screen.
And I want to add that my Zagg-type skin is peeling off my Magic (since day 5 or so?!), while my anti-glare screen protector recently has a tiny dent. Both are not bullet-proof.

I ordered the clear silicone protector, a motorola rapid car charger, and the skinomi protector. I'll report back how everything goes.
I just pre-ordered the Zagg Screen protector only. I had one of the whole body clear skin things from Zagg for my G1... and I did not like how it made the phone look, and how it felt.
I do however, really like their screen protectors. You cannot mar them what-so-ever. The only thing I would stress is taking your time applying it to the screen. Make sure that sonovagun has a lot of the solution Zagg provides, and get all the air bubbles out.
I think a nice silicon case (hoping for a Blody Glove) for the Nexus will be a nice fit for this phone... the G1 as always cumbersome due to the sliding keyboard. Every case for it came in 3 parts.
I just got word from Martin Fields (overlayplus.com) that they have a Nexus One on order and expect to offer screen protectors in a week or so. They usually include a camera protector too.
How is the glass screen on a stock Nexus? Is it easily scratch-able? Is it even glass?
Wish it was Gorilla Glass, would solve a lot of problems

Yes, it is glass. Does it matter how easy it is to scratch? It's possible to scratch it. If you put a protector on it, it's just a few bucks to replace if it gets messed up and it's peace of mind...
I ordered a screen protector from clearfreakmobile on ebay. It's an invisibleshield type (have to use water), but it looks fine. I never liked the full body kind as the little pieces keep coming off in my pockets. Should hopefully get it late next week.
i'll prolly check out martin fields when they start shipping them.
I still swear by naked cases they are awesome. Patiently waiting for a nexus one!
Nothing beats powersupport anti-glare. I custom cut these for my car navigation, digital camera, and all my phones. but nexus got a big ass screen and custom cutting wont work
I'm digging the Clear Protector (which, again, is the same as Zagg and Ghost Armor). It actually gets completely smooth over time and the orange peel effect becomes less noticeable. It also starts off with a little more friction on swipes than I like, but that is fixed over time as well.
whats the best screen protector to use for under $10?
i don't want it to scatch easily and i dont like fingerprints
I bought one for 4 months that's a "no name" one i paid it 5€, and there was no scratch until i went to the beach...i got one little scratch now, but not a lot of fingerprints. Little bit difficult to place, but good quality after all.
if you dont like fingerprints you can buy matt screen protector,
but its not as clear as the clear SP's...
the finger prints are bearable.
I'm more fond of the thick&clear ones, you can but several with 5$ or so on ebay
I bought 2 for 6$ on amazon, but they were crystalclear from mumbi. The screen looks darker and not so colorful with the matt protectors.
You could try a case with special microfibre inside.
I'm using the cheap clear ones that you can easily find on ebay or dealextreme.
The usually go for 1$ or less with free shipping worldwide, so you can try them yourself without risking too much money.
Just make sure they look right in the product image.
I personally hate how the matt ones make the screen look, you should probably try to see one yourself before buying.
I bought about 5 protectors on eBay for less than $1. I'm using the same one for as long as I can remember. I have the phone for almost 3 years now and the screen has 0 scratches to date.
So unless you're looking for some anti-glare/fingerprint protector that makes your screen lose quality and look like crap, don't waste time and money looking for a special $15 protector when a $0.20 one can hold for months and do the job just as well.
That's from my experience at least.
matt ones are awesome if you only concern about fingerprints, but they are killing this beautiful AMOLED screen. so darker :s

+1.I got mine from local shop for the above mentioned price.that was a 5.2inch version.cut down, use the rest for another gadget!
I lime the BoxWave ClearTouch ones, simply because i hate glare
I don't know if it'll suit your needs and price requirement, but in my experience, Brando Ultraclear is an incredibly good screen protector. Very accurate cut, no adhesives, fairly solid and scratch resistant, surface feels smooth enough to fool you into thinking you're actually touching the glass underneath....
I've had one of these on my phone for over a year now and I have yet to see any wear. Just take care not to trap any dust underneath when applying it.
Also, best way (that I have found so far) to apply this kind of quality screen protector - get yourself two strips of adhesive tape long enough to go once around your index fingers and then a little. Put them around the tips of your index fingers, adhesive side facing out. Use one to touch a corner of the screen protector - it is MUCH more easy to handle this way, and the tape comes off the screen protector without leaving a trace. Use the piece of tape on your other finger to remove any specks of dust left on the screen or the sticky side of the screen protector - don't worry, if you have a good screen protector it'll just pick up the dust and come right off again.
You can also use this to lift up the protector again in case you did manage to trap dust or have to correct the positioning.
Edit: As with all clear screen protectors, finger prints are something of an issue.... They come off easy enough if you just wipe it on whatever piece of cloth you may have available (pants, t-shirt, napkin, whatever) but if you don't want any in the first place, you may want to look into the Anti-Glare screen protector, which has a slightly roughed surface.
Either can be bought here or from various retailers -> http://shop.brando.com/search.php?keyword=i9000+screen+protector&Submit=Product+Search
Why do we need this its almost impossible to make scratches:O i can say it because all my other phones but my ace are full of scretches lol

If it's at least equal to the one of the s4 I can say it's the best glass screen protector I came across. And yes it protects even on the little falls. Because it protect mine when I left fall down from my hand it wasn't a big fall but when I lift the phone up the screen protector had a crack and the original phone screen had absolutely nothing
Great to hear that. Will order one.
I currently have the Zagg one on mine, it works very nicely. Throw it in my motorcycle jacket pocket all the time without worrying about scratching the actual screen, especially since it has a lifetime warranty and I can just get a replacement if it scratches up too badly.
I'm sure the Spigen ones are similar.
Great to hear that, will get one.
I am currently using the Luvvitt and I have nothing but stellar remarks for it. It's cheap, and it works flawlessly. My first one had a microscopic nick in the top right edge that was preventing the screen protector from adhering on that edge. I let them know last Friday and SUNDAY the mailman hand delivered me a new one.. Not even sure how all of that happened but yeah, great customer service to boot.
tech armor
i got the tech armor ultraclear ballistic glass and have to say this is a pretty nice investment. It's $20 from amazon:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00IGISUTG/ref=oh_details_o02_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
and its crystal clear, easy to put on, and so far seems to be pretty rock solid. i havent thrown it down a gravel road or anything, but i am pretty impressed by how clear it is, how smooth it feels, and the time it took to install, which was about 5 minutes, followed by smoothing out one 'line' across the middle that looked like a crease or something, but went away by pushing it with my finger.
5 stars for this product.

:good: Gotta back you up on that one. Bought one and it's fantastic.
So I bought the GLAS.tr Nano the day it came out and was really excited about it. Unfortunately I was the first negative review on Amazon for the product. I got in contact with the company and it seems as though there was a batch that had issues with the tack used to stick it to the screen. Mine had several areas where it would just never stick along the edges and a huge area near the bottom that had no stick to it. I informed them and they promptly sent me a replacement. The replacement is perfect in every way and I couldn't be happier.
That said, I ordered the top rated glass protector with rounded edges on Amazon that was something like $12 for my girlfriend while I was having the issues with Spigen. Honestly the quality is almost identical for 1/3 the cost. If I had it to do over I would not have gone with the Spigen protector and gotten two of the cheaper options.
I did change my review to four stars but did not go with a full five due to it being over priced compared to the competition.

i have the same....works great....fit well...and super cheap to boot compared to the spigen:good:
I had the Spigen GlastR Nano on the S5 but had a speck of stuff under the screen. Pulled it off and installed the Zagg Glass and damn if I did not get another tiny speck under the Zagg also.
The Spigen is a nice glass but I like the Zagg a little better. Thinner, softer edges, easy tags for the install and it just feels plain nice.
MIME Feather Glass is what I ended up getting. Part of my decision was that I planned on getting my T-Mobile SGS5 from Delaware to avoid sales tax and I needed to have the screen protector (wanted to try glass for the first time too) by the time I had it too. I live in NJ and MIME is made in New York, so the quick shipping (free anyway but quick since we're neighbors) made it a good decision for me...
And I couldn't be ANY HAPPIER with my decision. It's so thin that I can barely feel it's there. I know if I went any thicker, I wouldn't like the feeling of going over the home button. The fit is beyond perfect and I don't have any scratches on it AT ALL yet. Keep in mind I go to the gym a lot and my pockets have zippers and I'm sure I'm constantly rubbing up against them when I take it out and put it in (that's what she said). No scratches at all. Responsiveness is completely unhindered.
I would highly recommend it...
---------------------------
Also, a little tip (regardless of brand I suppose, but the "purple film", basically a screen sized film with a very very light adhesive for "anti-dust preinstallation film" MIME gave actually came in VERY HANDY for me...) for the install!
credits to BillTheCat: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1015394
okay, the only advice I really took here was to go into the bathroom at home (low dust environment!) and run the hot water in the shower for a bit (steam it up, even less dust).
at that point, I wiped my screen of course, then I just took the protector, handled it from the sides to make sure I got no oil on the adhesive side, and lined it up just right (worked for me, maybe you might want to try the tape method, but it may be difficult with glass protectors) and laid it down (bottom first to line up the home button perfectly). i ended up with 2 pieces of dust towards the top. damn it.
then the purple film came in damn handy. i very carefully (with my fingernails, but being careful not to actually touch under the glass and get marks on it) lifted up the glass and peeled it back just enough to get "purple film" underneath and "grab" the dust particles off of the screen. i was afraid it may leave marks or residue, but it didn't at all. not sure how painter's tape would work in this case, but I'm proud to say that I have a 100% dust free, mark free, PERFECT installation. =DDDD
then again, I have some patience and a fairly steady hand, so this may or may not work for you. I used to make money back in middle school changing out LED's on Nokia 5100's, 6100's, 8200's series... ah the old days haha. that required some steady hands. i still have my 8260 that i converted to the 8860 and soldered on the slide pin that made the sliding cover active. removing and rotating the polarized LCD films to invert the screens.. anyone remember all4cell? man i feel old now.
wow, now i'm thinking about the old TDMA networks and how much i hated GSM phones cause you couldn't change the carrier tags (on Nokias). i guess if it was still like back then, the T-Mobile Galaxy S5 threads would be the VoiceStream Galaxy S5 threads MIRITE??!
biggest advice though: go to the bathroom, steam it up (not too much)! that alone helps with the dusty environment, i thought that was very very good advice.
I got this with US$25 and working fine

That's good to know as I shop around for glass screen protector. Thanks!
I just got it in the mail today. Had to put it on right away. Extra smoothness! I've had the Spigen Glas series since the S4
I went cheap and got this http://www.ebay.com/itm/151282778240?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649
Works like a charm, and for $6 you can't really argue..why would I spend $20-$40 for a glass screen when this phone is already made with tough Gorilla glass? I also have this http://www.ebay.com/itm/351046202801?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649 case, so it's not I'll ever break my screen now when dropping my phone..

In my experience the best part of the glass protectors is that they feel the best. For the longest time I bought the super cheap xtremeguardz protectors on slickdeals which were good for protection but felt too tacky and got really dirty. Same with the free protector that came with spigen case for my Nexus 5. The glass ones feel like you don't have a screen protector on, shed minor damage readily, and provides the best extreme impact protection (at the cost of its own life though).
The biggest drawback is that they can chip if you drop them on cement... depends on the person, I know people who go an entire year with no screen protector, and I know others who drop their phones on pavement regularly. I recently reviewed the Movaluate 7 protector (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2744597) which has served me well so far.
as per the title, which is the preferred screen protector for this device. thinking of getting one soon (an S4 that is)

actually, don't worry too much. i've used mediadevil on my S2 and it's been great. they're available for the S4 too.
Actually, you don't need to apply any protector to your phone, if you can stand for very minor scratch to your screen.
The corning glass is excellent scratch proof, I have been using no screen protector since my first iPhone 4 and coming with samsung s3, s4, iphone 5 and etc.... What you get is a better screen, color and contrast if you just don't mind the minor scratches.

Using a Mime Glass protector and all the things you mention aren't affected at all. Color and contrast: same. Screen: better, while protected :good:

trust me, you can't beat physics law ...
Maybe I've been using the wrong kind of screen protector, but all the ones i've used have a weird feel/touch to them that doesn't feel the same as the screen, so I don't use them
Never had a cracked/scratched screen either. Knock on wood. Maybe it's just luck

I use the iloome screenmate flex. It is really thin and it feels like nothing is on the screen, the touch sensitivity is great. I haven't used any of the other ones but this one gas been great.

You've seen two SGS4's side by side, one with and one without the Mime protector yes? And you really saw a noticable difference?
In that case: highly impressed by your amazing eye-sight :good:
I bought a cheap glass screen protector off of amazon. It was some generic one from China. With Amazon prime free shipping I couldn't pass it up.
pros: super clear, finger print resistant, protects screen well
cons: breaks after some abuse (though better this than the screen)
When my first one broke after considerable abuse I ordered two more to replace it. at $10 it wasn't bad. When the one I have on now breaks, I'll just pop my backup on and order another spare.
This cheap and the feel of real glass vs the Ghost Armor I had before, it's great.

I got mine on eBay and have the same philosophy. The glass fells like the screen and under abuse the tempered glass will crack.
It happened to me recently and I installed my spare and bought two more.
Can't beat the way the glass ones look and feel.
I also bought an aluminum button to extend the factory button. So now the home button is not recessed.
I have had my iloome screenmate for a good while and it hasn't cracked or anything and it has been used.
Glass is the only way to go

Spigen glass t. Glass is the best imo
I'm rolling with Spigen Glast Nano Slim.

If glass has suddenly become the "only way to go", where were we these past many years? I'm not paying upwards of $20 for a fancy screen protector when my cheap plastic one works very well. Can someone please come to my house and show me this apparent difference??

$20 is cheap insurance to protect your screen. A plastic one isn't going to protect your screen from damage. It may protect it from scratches but not from being busted if your phone is dropped.

You can't go wrong with the SPIGEN SGP Premium Tempered Glass Screen Protector, once you install it correctly it really holds and protects the screen from pocket scruffs.
My cousin got into a motorcycle accident last year and the screen protector w/ the Spigen slim armor case protected his phone.
Tempered glass is the only thing for me from now on. $5 on eBay. Feels excellent, optically clear to me. Same screen sensitivity to me.
No need to blow 20+$ on big names. I break it, buy 5 more. No big deal.
Buy plastic sheets and the scratch and peel off in a week.
Even no name temp glass is better.
For me is the anti-glare screen protectors, for read is the best choice.
I have been a long time user of the $10 3 pack of plastic film protectors you can get on amazon, they work fine however after a few months they get scratched, hold tons of fingerprints and need to be replaced. What I'm wondering is would a tempered glass screen protector necessarily have any better fingerprint resistance or scratch resistance vs the plastic or is the only real advantage the fact the the tempered glass will shatter if dropped and not your phones screen. I'm considering the zagg glass only because of the free replacement. I previously used their invisible shield on a nexus 7 and was not impressed at all but am willing to give them another try only because of the free replacement.
I've tried many plastic screen protectors and I used to have the same issue after a while they would track tons of fingerprints and wear down. I tried out the iLoome 8H Hardness Premium Screen Protector with Oleophobic Coating for the LG G2 and LG G3 and it's amazing. I feel like it helps against the fingerprints and scratches.
I was previously a hater of screen protectors (because of the plastic ones) until I realized how anal I could be over micro scratches on my actual screen. Once I noticed one, I bought a glass screen protector for the first time. Was the Caribu on Amazon. I failed to apply it correctly because it was a first time thing but I still loved the feel, thought it was great & left it on for a couple weeks. I ordered the Bepak tempered glass on eBay which ships from China. Lined it up perfect first try and the adhesive slowly migrated across my screen leaving no bubbles. It's smoother and resist fingerprints better than the naked glass. No scratches yet.
In short, tempered glass screen protectors are the only reason I can even say I like screen protectors.

I love my zagg glass. I too had issues with scratches on the others.
Fortunately I have not had this one break. My buddy has broken 3 and received replacements no issues

I always used the lesser destructible protectors from zagg skins or clearcoat etc. With this device I decided I try out the zagg tempered glass and I don't think I would ever go back to any other screen protector. They give you added protection and are super clear! Definitely worth the extra investment
No matter what, I can never stay away from android for long.
Stay away from the Bodyguardz tempered glass screen protector. It has sensitivity issues. Hopefully AT&T takes mine back when the new one I ordered from Spigen gets here.
I have the XtremeGuard Spartan Tempered Glass screen protector. It feels like glass, it seems to be just as sensitive, and it's not cloudy like some matte screen protectors are. There are only 2 things wrong with it: the top-right corner refuses to adhere, and it normally costs $50. I got it during a 90% off sale so it cost me $5 (totally worth it), but there's no way I would ever spend more than $10 on this thing. $5 was about right.

My local at&t wouldn't take mine back
Thankfully the sensitivity issue has gotten better with use. But it still messes up from time to time. I did get it 50% off, as well as my otter box case, so I guess I can't complain too much.
Side note: I'm not sure if I'm the only one that does this but I get the otter box defender and I actually pop out their "screen protector" and use a glass screen protector with it. Looks nice and feels protected

You are not the only one. I popped mine out too. Did the same on my S3.
I has the screen sensitivity issue when I first put the zagg on. I haven't noticed it lately however. Could be that I've just completely forgotten about it or it genuinely could have gotten better.

Wanted to chime in that I am also having issues with the Bodyguardz tempered screen protector. Traded a s5 for the g3 (So happy I did) and I've noticed things will get selected when I'm trying to scroll. Then other times I have to select something multiple times to get it to work. Driving me nuts.
Zagg Tempered Glass
Figured I'd add my 2 cents I've had my Zagg glass on about a month and it has been absolutely flawless.. and like the video shows.. that sumbitch will not scratch. Its got those hard plastic covers beat by a mile. I'd swear by it.. Once you put on a Zagg glass protector.. you'll kick yourself for ever having messed with others.
Sensitivity : 10
Clarity : 10
Ease of application : 10
and its lifetime gauranteed ... will be on every phone I ever use from the g3 on out :good:
I bought ZeroLemon Tempered Glass and love it. Simple to install and feels great. Never going back plastic screen covers. For 8.99 plus .69 cents for S/H cant beat it.
Wanted to update, I went to best buy and bought the zagg glass one and it's great. Way better then the bodyguardz. No finicky screen issues and not as thick so cases fit just fine. I have to agree with dlbcell.
Zagg Glass +1
Just thought I would chime in and say the Zagg Glass is amazing and I would rec it to anyone. Just as a plus, show this at any bestbuy and you can get it for 22 bucks. Now that is worth it 100%. Would have gladly paid 40 bucks for it if I hadent found this.

Thanks for the link. I had cracked the glass screen protector I had on my G3 and I have been in the market for a Zagg one due to their lifetime guarantee. Can't pass up that price!
Got my G3 at best buy today. Ordered a Zagg glass screen protector from Amazon after hearing all off the good things.

I had the same issue with Bodyguards. At intermittent times parts of the touchscreen failed to respond to touch. Going to make a complaint and see if I can get my money back or at least a credit on my bill. I have since put on a Zagg Glass and have not noticed the issue...and it actually feels better for swyping.
I swear by Realook protectors. Sure, they're plastic, but they are the best fitting and best feeling I have found. Crystal clear and no orange peel or rubbery drag. I tried the Ziess glass cover on my g2 and could never get over the combination of the extra thickness at the edges and that cases either lifted it or eventually just plan broke it.
You have fingers, you will put prints on anything.
I'll never buy another plastic screen protector. Glass is the way to go..
Its like Cassette tapes vs CD's there's no contest...
I get mine of Amazon and pay between 5 and 10 dollars ..
