I'm new to here, but am wondering if there's any way to get the camera app like the Motorola Xoom or Acer Iconia on the Asus TF. Any help would be appreciated.

hey i found the UASTRING thing for the us xoom but i was wondering if i can do it on my acer tab, i didnt wana risk doing it caus it might brick it, thanks
I am Looking at both the asus transformer and acer iconia tab i have no idea which to get i wont be doing anything modding wise as this is going to be a gift...
I'm looking for build quality and speed and most importantly responsiveness.
If this is in the wrong section you can move i have no idea where to put this...

I in all honesty say that you should get the Asus transformer because it has official honeycomb 3.1 which has ultrafast responsiveness. The support for that device is much higher due to the keyboard dock.
Ps. I have an Asus Transformer and have xperimented with it. Brilliant device.

Just my opinion, but I find the Asus just seems to be built better in terms of quality.

Does anyone know what to do with an acer that won't root, the pc does not recognize the acer, and the speakers going out? I know PCs but am new to the tablet forum especially android os.
I have an A500 and I'm thinking about upgrading to a new tablet but I have a few questions. Does everybody's tablet get really hot and if so is there anything I can do about it? I'm into customizing my tablet and have a rooted A500 so I'm wondering is it hard to root this tablet? Would you recommend this tablet to somebody if so why and if not why?

You should be able too. It's an older device, but it should still work. Honestly, since you're going through Acer, I would recommend getting the Acer MeMo pad. It's slightly more up to date, and works well for the cost.
