[Q] HELP HELP How to Unbrick My Sensation - HTC Sensation

I rooted my sensation using the revolutionary method to get S=OFF and decided to put the phone back to S=ON so I could sell it and buy the new Galaxy S2 when it comes out this month.
I went through the process on the development forum to get S=ON and I used the correct RU file for TMOUS.
I made sure the CID was properly set using fastboot and it was set to TMOB010 so I could not flash to wrong RU file.
I flashed the RU file and it flashed fine and said the process completed with no errors.
I used the proper fastboot command to write the secureflag to 3 and the HBoot screen showed S=OFF and so far so good.
I rebooted the phone and the TMobile Sens ROM booted up fine to the home screen.
I shut the phone off figuring the process had been completed fine and when I turned the phone on an hour later, it booted to the HBoot screen with a "security warning" message.
Now all the phone will do is boot to the HBoot screen, I tried to re-flash the RU file like the forum stated but I keep getting a battery low error even with a fully charged battery.
Now all I have is a phone that only boots to the HBoot screen with a "security warning message"
The HBoot version is showing the following:
PYRAMID PVT SHIP S-ON RL
HBOOT-1.17.0008
RADIO-10.11.9007.15.M
eMMC-boot
I hope I do not have a 300 dollar paper weight, any help would be appricetd please.

It's not bricked if you can turn it on... I can't help you much though... Seeing you got S-ON, maybe you could try to get S-OFF again and then start over?

I may sound like a noob, but I never used the PM function on this site. I am so frustrated I want to throw the dam thing through the wall.
I can't understand why I keep getting the battery is below 30% error every time I try and run the RU file to re-flash the ROM. I have tried two different fully charged batteries with no luck.
Thank god I have my G2x and my Nexus S as backups, at least they be rooted and un-rooted very easily, unlike this POS.

If your H-Boot now reads S=On, technically there is no evidence to suggest that you have done anything, unless they can find a problem some other way, as you have said you used the correct ROM and CID. So you could try and return the handset under warranty. Someone correct me if im wrong

I also tried copying the RU programs rom.zip file and renaming it to PG581MG.zip and putting in on the SD card and tried flashing it through the Hboot screen but it scrolls thru the file and never ask me if I want to apply the update.
The fastboot function is probably enabled in the stock ROM i flashed and I am stuck in the HBoot screen. I am totally stumped.
Anyone out there willing to try and get this thing operational. I will pay you for your trouble as long as you are trustworthy.

That's because the zip should be PG58IMG.zip and not PG581MG.zip

1.try different battery
2. Can you go into recovery? If yes try wiping from there. Also I believe in hboot there is factory reset option
3. Discharge battery and charge it up.again

I appreciate the info, I have tried everything I know and I am stuck on the HBoot screen. I am going to try a different battery and try letting the original completely discharge and re-charge it and go from there. This is last sensation I am going to buy, I have never in all my years of rooting phones had a product that is a pain in the ass like this one has been.
Shame on HTC, what is the point of having an android product if not to root it and flash a custom ROM. I paid full retail for the thing with my hard earned money so I should be able to do with it what I want too.
I came over from the Nexus S and never had this many problems and complicated procedures going back to the stock ROM.
I am back to my G2x, at least I can easily root and un-root it and it runs the CM7 just fine. Not like the HTC POS.

I think to fix it, you gotta clam down first lmao. I've NEVER had all these issues you're having. I don't mean to be rude, but I think it's the user... so relax! and fix it up!
as for the last sensation you're ever going to buy.. I think this will probably be the only sensation out there haha
Did you also try what this guy suggested?

I finally fixed it!!!
I did have the right file name PG58IMG, but I kept getting an error when I tried to flash it through HBoot when the zip file was loading i.e. invalid image, no image found etc.
I tried the other RU file for TMOUS and extracted the rom.zip, renamed it and flashed it and it finally took and I am up and running.
I apologize for being upset but this was the longest time I ever spent trying to recover a phone, but I have learned allot from this experience and have taken some great notes and will put them in a thread when I get some free time.
Thanks to everyone out there who helped me through this.

I am having the exact same problem from doing the EXACT same thing you did. My HBOOT, radio and everything else is exactly the same as yours as well. So my question is, was the RUU that worked properly for the older T-Mobile one? RUU_Pyramid_TMOUS_1.29.531.2_Radio_10.42.9007.00P_10.11.9007.15_M_release_193714 <-- This one??

Hi. I have similiar problem, but I can't extract zip file from RUU. With HD2 RUU I could unpack it with WINRAR, but with Sensation RUU there is no such option.
How did you extract rom.zip file from RUU... .exe file?

I am stuck at the same place can you please tell me how to extract the zip file from ruu and what is called I would really appreciate it

Run the executable up to the initial screen and leave it open. Then open My Computer and browse to C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Temp and you will see a folder with a long random looking name like {17ad63h46f09a0c883058}. Open this folder and you will see a heap of files - images for branding, scripts and the like, as well as a file called rom.zip. Open this file and in it will be radio.img, which you can extract and rename as PG58IMG.zip.
This is how I extracted the stock radio from my Telstra RUU anyway.

Stuck Stuck Stuck

Hi Guys,
I really need some help this one........ I rooted my phone sometime ago now and recently in my stupid idiot mind decided to unroot (Yeah stupid i know). Firstly i flashed the RUU:
RUU_PYRAMID_ICS_HTC_Europe_3.12.401.2_Radio_11.65.3504.00U_11.19.3504.29_2_test_233440.exe
Then i went through the s-on process when i finished and rebooted the phone it just kept going to htc logo then blank screen then off and just repeats this process. I've gone into Hboot screen and get this image in the attachment.
Any advice or help would really help I've come over from the Darkside of iPhone so I'm fairly new to all this.
With S-On, you cannot flash a rom from a different region. And your bootloader has changed to 1.23 which i dont think revolutionary is compatible with (the tool to s-off your phone). try flashing the original rom of your phone.
Try flashing an older RUU so u can downgrade hboot version and try running revolutionary again. If not try using official HTC boot unlocker
Sent from my HTC Sensation XE with Beats Audio using XDA Premium App
Thanks for the reply's I'm sure I've tried to downgrade but I've no clue what version was on the phone before root, i know it was the latest gingerbread at the time 3.4 ???????? Oh and I'm in the UK if that helps?????
http://www.filefactory.com/f/c87a2330449af512/
Here you can find all the shipped ROMs for Sensation. There are 4 there, if u search for the word "UK", T-Mobile, Vodafone, Orange and H3G. Pickup the one according to your operator.
But please dont use any of those in case your phone is not bound to any operator. Then you'll have to figure out something else. Update here if that is the case and will try to find a ROM for you.

DAMN man! You decided to go S-ON on a ICS LEAK???..... Pretty silly mate
Since you are in the UK, I would go for a STOCK unbranded RUU, to be on the safe side. Search the forum to try and find the stock 1.18.000 hboot.img and flash via PG58IMG in recovery, as the newer hboot's like you now have dont support fastboot commands.
I really dont know otherwise mate....You may have to use htcdev.com to unlock bootloader.
When i purchased the phone it was unlocked but i use Orange uk. I'm not bothered if it was unlocked as I'm only going to use Orange uk anyway so thats not an issue.
I've tried most of the RUU for Europe but just keep getting errors i really do think its a dead end..........
Yeah I'm stupid !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've tried loads of RUU off there and just keep getting errors I've unlocked using htc.dev software, I'll put up another picture of the current state of the device.

Ok.... Try follow this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1228648 to get stock recovery. Use the 'GET STOCK RECOVERY MANUALLY' and only follow it to step 5.
Get the recovery_signed.img from an RUU like it says... preferably this one http://www.filefactory.com/file/c0a...00U_10.15.9035.02_2_release_228602_signed.exe
Once you got it zip it up using 7zip file manager or winzip etc... and rename it to PG58IMG.zip
Place on your SD card and boot into bootloader and when it asks to update click yes and see if it changes your boot loader back to stock 1.18.000. If it does..then s-off again using revolutionary then FLASH an OFFICIAL RUU not a LEAK!!
If that dont work HTCDEV.com it is mate
I hope this helps.. I not at all experienced much either, but know enough to watch my arse and be careful. You may need an experienced dev from xda to give you some advise

You zip the image 1st, so it's PG58IMG.zip THEN put into SDCARD and boot into bootloader 'power & vol-' together
It's 'already' unlocked via htc? damn man.... I really dont know then bud. You going s-on on a phone which is already s-off'd by htcdev.com was a waste of time really, because they already know it been unlocked whether you went back to s-on or not.

Right, turn off the phone, now take the .zip file off the sd card and boot into bootloader again but DONT press anything. just tell me what it says now at the top. What hboot number does it say?
You have a stock recovery now, so clicking on recovery inside boot loader takes you to that screen.

I am stuck for 2 days Need help PLZ

Hi guys
I have really strange problem, could you please help me out.
I am was using insert coin rom 4.4.1 and every thing was good so far,
Then i have realized that i have s- off and rooted my phone but i didn't super cid it
So i want to do that, i have supercid it by following the steps listed in this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1192300.
After i reboot the phone, it stayed in the flash screen (HTC screen)
I have reinstalled the rom and even other roms, but nothing was done.
I have tried to reflash it using firmwire 3.24 but samething.
FYI: i have already supercid it i have checked it by adb and it is 11111111
There is small problem, i didn't remember my proper cid, all i know it is a europe version of sensation.
i have this written in recovery session:
REVOLUTIONARY
pyramid PUT ship s off RL
boot 1.27.1110
Radio 11.21.3504.13.2
Open ADSP V02-6-0.2226.00.0104
EMMC-boot
Jan 13-2012, 17:33:34
Please help me i am lost here, DONT TELL ME THAT I HAVE DAMAGED THE PHONE!!
Thanks
Not sure if this will help
Hey I am not sure about your problem not heard of this. Maybe you need to super cid before flashing new firmware. Maybe if you can remember what your cid was before, you can change back and see if it makes any difference. maybe once returned to the stock cid you can revert firmware and then super cid. I am not sure though! I am just taking a stab at it since no one else has answered. here is a link with some firmware and it also tells stock cid's for different carriers/countries. Also maybe try flashing different firmware.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1459767
maybe that will refresh your memory to what yours was.
Good Luck
P.S. I think that since you still have access to recovery you will be able to resolve the issue (not hard bricked yet), just need to figure out what the problem is exactly.
Given that you still have access to your SDcard, trying flashing a new rom and firmware (go for Virtuous Inquisition).

If you wanna use ARHD 3.6.13 you need to downgrade your firmware to 3.12 or 1.17 it won't run on 3.24
I would downgrade your firmware, go to a GB rom, get it so your phone boots, then go through the process of going back to ICS.

Last time when I had major issue with my phone, I flashed couple different firmwares and different ICS and GB ROM. And somehow it worked for me. I'm just saying there's always hope. Dont give up! And good luck!
flash the latest official eu RUU, if nothing works.
You can always s-off/root then afterwards.

Nothing, most do not use fastboot commands, so don't worry about it. You are still s-off and able to flash any rom you desire.

you need to STOP flashing random firmware...if you don't know what it is and what the outcome is going to be, do not flash it

I have downgraded my firmwire to 3.12 and i have used hd 3.16.13 GB rom.
The bad news is that nothing done yet, stucking in HTC splash screen.
But there is something i want to add, may be is the clue to this problem .
I have realized that when i remove my SD card from the phone and i want to read it in my PC, it appears protected each time and this is strange (virus effect).
may be my SD card was damaged and it is the only problem of stucking???
What do you think guys??

Perhaps you accidentally set some sort of sharing protection on the SD card, which doesn't let the phone access the adequate files? If so, try reformatting your card on fat32. And then copy back the firmware/rom and attempt flashing again.
i have already formatted the SD card, coping Rom and firmwire PG58IMG reflash the rom .
Still stuck in HTC S screen.
What about RUU?
Any suggestion ?

If your bootloader says LOCKED like you previously indicated then you can not use fastboot commands as kpjimmy already said. Because you never supercid your phone you probably have some partial firmware update.
If I were you I would flash an older RUU to get to a known stable config and then start over.
No i have changed the firmwire and it is written revolutionary in purple.

Still stuck in HTC S screen.
What about RUU?
Any suggestion ?

You have to remove the firmware from the card after flashing it. But to bypass it, does your phone boot once you flash the rom and then remove the sd card?
kpjimmy
when i updated the firmware hboot then the phone wrote push the power button to reboot, the problem is the phone will try to run the rom already installed in the phone, so i am forced to remove the battery and then remove the firmware from my PC.
in order to install the new rom.

[Q] Inspire 4G BRICKED!!! Help!!!

I hope I am not posting where I am not supposed to, but I desperately need help. I am a noob and have managed to brick my inspire, or at least that's my guess. I can still get in to hboot, but when I select recovery, nothing happens. This all started after trying to use the htc boot unlocker. My screen shows the following when in hboot

I have tried loading the stock images using the PD98IMG.zip files that I have found throughout the site, but nothing seems to be working. Please help, or if you can point me to someone that can I would greatly appreciate it. I hate to be a pain, but I don't know what else to do.

YOUR PHONE IS NOT BRICKED. The term bricked means that your phone is a useful as a brick, i.e. if you can get into HBOOT, it's not bricked.
Gotta ask though, why did you not use the Hack Kit as its the only reliable method to root, my advice to you sir is when this gets cleared up READ AND EDUCATE YOURSELF before you really do brick your phone.
If you have a SDcard reader, pop out the SDcard and place one of the PD98IMG stock ROMs on your SDcard. From here you can reboot into HBOOT with the sdcard in your phone and HBOOT should pick up the PD98IMG and flash a working stock ROM. From here, you can root with the Hack Kit...
This will help you, read it and do what the stock ROM option...if you can get into HBOOT
I have tried doing that, it says loading image, then parsing, then goes back to the hboot screen, it doesn't say press volume up to update or anything else as I have read in many other posts. Am I doing something wrong? As far as not using the hack kit, I didn't really stumble on that until after it was to late, sure wish I had found it in the first place. Guess if I could just get it back to factory, I would accept that doing this isn't for me and not mess with it again. I am good at following directions, but nothing I have tried seems to work.

is the file named exactly "PD98IMG.zip"..you may also want to check the hide extension option to be sure its not hiding the .zip because if it is and you renamed it to "PD98IMG.zip" with the hide extension on, the phone will read it as "PD98IMG.zip.zip" and you would get that error.
haha and yeah man, we've all been there...I don't want to discourage you man, rooting is such an awesome experience and the hack kit is a pretty straight forward process, if you do the research and take the time to understand what you're doing, but lets see if we can help you out here first. I had the same issue you're having when I tried to flash a radio (same PD98IMG method you're trying to use) and it turned out to be the hide extension issue.
I had also verified that as well, I went under tools, folder options, view tab, scrolled down to hide extensions for known file types and unchecked... And, everything was correct, just verified to be on the safe side.

hmm, so its named PD98IMG.zip caps and everything? If its not working you m ay have to get a stock RUU and run it through fastboot..
This is why you should educate yourself first. You do not need to unlock the bootloader from the HTC dev site. Now you could flash the the stock ruu from the PC and then use the hack kit. Check the stickies in the Inspire general section for more help.

I understand that I should have been a little more educated first now, but I thought I had everything in order, thats what thinking gets me... I have tried running the stock ruu, but it gives the following error.
ERROR[155]: UNKNOWN ERROR
The ROM Update Utility cannot update your Android phone.
Please get the correct ROM Update Utility and try again.
I did notice the Image version the program shows is on the phone is 3.13.0.0, and it is trying to put 2.47.502.7 on the phone... Is this the problem? If so, whats the solution, I am so lost now its not even funny.... I apologize everyone.

Dalton, lock your bootloader again. Boot into fastboot and plug the phone. You will see fastboot usb at the top. Then plug your phone and open cmd session. Once there type fastboot oem relock. Once that is done, try flashing the .exe file in the HTC site (original GB update), making sure that you have HTC Sync installed.
If that fails, then I would try using the HACK Kit to gain S-OFF and root. You will then be able to revert to stock or flash a custom rom...
Had a similar problem when using aahk my own fault and I took care of it. Long winded, so short of it, are you trying to install through
1. hboot or 2. on the computer using HTC rom update?
I ended up trying 2. But ended up using aahk to finish.
HTC update errored out and the recovery portion would not work, just in a boot loop on HTC logo
This was good news as aahk could take over on USB during that HTC green letters white background.
I'd suggest reading the effen manual run the tool to get it up and going, figure out what you want to do. I've used it to return to stock with s off before go back into roms.
So look at those options know what you want and then power on the phone USB connected and during HTC screen enter your number the kit should take over and give you what you asked it.
That should give you a working rom image.

Glad you have it back....yeah you'd better read and make sure what are about to do it and of course what risks are involved before making a move....
Dalton,
I would suggest following glevitan's and willm's assertion of getting s-off and root to use custom roms. Custom roms are WAY better than anything HTC has to offer, and much easier to install, if you have an issue warranty wise, you can always return to stock. Just make sure you know how to flash correctly, search for it and you will find easy instructions, and if memory serves, a youtube video which helped me greatly.

If you are using AT&T branded cell then go to the htc.com site and in the support section of the inspire you will find it. Otherwise, you will find stock roms in the general section of this forum

Did I brick my Inspire 4G?

I'm sure I haven't bricked this phone, because in the process of rooting it, it will eventually say it's S-OFF. But after getting to that point, I can choose Recovery in CWM and when it gets to the white screen with the green HTC logo, after about 4 seconds, it will fade to black. This has happened to 2 phones I've rooted. Luckily mine worked like a charm, but after the last 2...I'm afraid to root another one. Does this sound like a bad memory card, or maybe it's not a gold card? I've searched around and couldn't find an answer, so maybe someone here at XDA has experienced this problem and has an answer.
TIA

I quite don't get that....you can choose recovery in CWM?? what does that is supposed to mean? CWM is a custom recovery. I guess that you are probably refering to hboot. Anyway, if you are S-OFF, then you might not have a recovery installed, so flash a new one (use the guide in my signature or look for post # 7 in the Ace Think Tank in the general section of the Desire HD forum)
Make sure first that you are S-OFF for certain, if you are not, then you won't be able to flash anything at all. Then, try re running the Hack Kit again from the white splash screen as the manual tells you to.

Yes, I guess I did mean hboot. In the process of Recovery is when it will fail and there is a ROM loaded for it to recover from on the SD card. Is it possibly because it is looking for the clockworkmod/backup folder and there is not one? I just realized that maybe I can copy a backup from my phone (we have the same exact phone) and place in there if it's possible. I don't have access to the phone now, as it is a friends. Also, if it fades out at the white HTC logo and just gets hung up, there is no way to re-run the Hack Kit is there?
Thanks for the help glevitan, as you've helped me before and I HAVE downloaded your Ultimate Hack Guide and keep it on my phone for reference.

Just a question, are you sure that the phone is S-OFF? or has an unlocked bootlaoder? In either way you can flash recovery again from fastboot and then a custom rom again.
If you need help, I can lend you a hand via teamviewer..just let me know. :good:

ok. Good luck!
Ok glevitan, I believe the problem might be in the PD98IMG.zip that's on the root of my SD card. I noticed when the phone booted into hboot, it would display that the image file was wrong, or something to that effect and then would force an update, which would load the HTC spashscreen and then ultimately fade out. I figured it had a bad PD98IMG.zip file, so I found the original aahk-13012012.zip and extracted the PD98IMG.zip from there and overwrote the one in the root. It didn't work. A different story...I noticed on my Inspire 4G (working correctly, but hboot had same error, even though I could load recovery from there) that it wasn't finding the correct image either. I copied over the PD98IMG.zip onto my phone and now both phones are now fading out on the HTC splashscreen after about 4 seconds. This tells me that it's in the SD card, right? If so, any suggestions? Both phones were rooted using this version of aahk.
Edit: Also, with this new PD98IMG.zip image, hboot will go into the process of parsing for
[1] boot
[2] recovery
[3] radio_v2
Once this is done, I push Power to reboot and that's when I get the failure in the HTC splashscreen.
Edit: I noticed in the PD98IMG.zip there was no md5 file, so I stuck one in there and got my phone working (which is not the one with the original issue started in this thread) and was able to restore a nandroid backup. I put this same SD card in the original damaged phone and it didn't restore like mine did. I still think it's an SD card issue causing the HTC splashscreen fadeout, but don't know where to go know.
Also, my PD98IMG.zip only has a recovery.img and a recovery.md5 file in it. I noticed that the original aahk PD98IMG.zip has those along with a boot.img and a radio.img. Should those be in the PD98IMG.zip? I know this post was edited twice and is very jumbled, so if you can make sense of it and offer solutions, much obliged.

Ok, I quite don't get much...sorry, but that version of the Hack Kit is old, so use the lastest one: http://tau.shadowchild.nl/attn1/?p=74
But again, I don't still get if the phone is S-OFF or not. If you are S-OFF there is no need to do all that process. Even, you can flash a RUU without using the PD98IMG way if you suspect that the sdcard is messed.
You can flash it over fastboot.... Anyway, you will have to flash this RUU (which is the gingerbread update 2.3.3 version of ATT. the lastest one, if you are not S-OFF will make things a bit harder for you to run the hack kit later): http://https://dl.dropbox.com/u/30674730/RUU_Ace_Gingerbread_S_Cingular_US_2.47.502.7_Radio_12.56.60.25_26.10.04.03_M_release_200368_signed.exe
Put the phone in fastboot usb (when in hboot, plug the phone and it should read fastboot usb in red, if not, just press power button to toggle to fastboot). Then, just run that .exe file and it should flash...

I was having a similar problem, I'm not too sure if it relates to what your experiencing. But I was trying to gain s-off my hboot was in fact unlocked but was still s-on. I was reading around and flashed a few boot.img with fast boot. I had that problem where htc screen would show then fade to black, and then stay black.
What I did was (I had installed recovery pretty early on) I did a factory reset in recovery then went to restore. Prior to this thank god I had transfered my nandroids to the pc b4 flashing new boot.img(s) then flashed the boot.img from the nandroid I just restored. All was well back into stock. I then found the insecure boot.img to use for aahk, flashed that in fastboot and relocked hboot. Reran aahk in linux. Got me to S-OFF with unlock.
If you need a fairly stock nandroid I can provide one.

What have you tried? AAHK is the only real option. There is a very clear guide over at the Ace Think Tank post #7, linked in my signature.

Besides what bananagranola said, you need to know that video tutorials suck. They skip important details and that, will probably get you stuck. Read the guide adviced, and the hack kit site (got the link in the Ace Think Tank Thread)...that is all you need to know.
I have tryed the Aahk. My problem is when it ask me to downgrade ruu an all that. All my phone dose when I run the aahk I push 1 an then it ask too downgrade so i put y then something about the ruu an I put y then it says pushing the 9 something file. ( sorry I'm not home on my computer ) so I'm not 100% on what it is saying. But then my phone boots to Hboot dose its thank. Then says bad image. I have done this a lot of times with the aahk. I even tock the s-on off an on. Is there a way that someone can jump into my computer an do this?

Try using a different sdcard. If the RUU image is not being read, that is probably due to a bad sdcard. It is corrupted to work as a goldcard but fine for usual day use.
I have. I have had 4 of them now. Two 2 gigs one 36gig an one 8 gig. New I paid for them an a new USB cored fast data cable for the phone.

2gb is enough...don't use another cable but the oem one that came with the phone. Anyway, that seems to be a sdcard issue. Try with another one and then report back.
I will go buy one more. But I Dont thank its that. An why not use a fast data cored for my phone?

[Q] Sensation 4G in boot loop (unrooted, s-on, locked, stock phone)

I think I'm using the right terminology here, but forgive me if I'm not, I'm completely new to this.
A couple nights ago my Sensation 4G shut off mid-use and I haven't been able to get it back on. When I turn it on all I get is the HTC splash screen, and then it shuts off and turns itself back on again and continues to do this until I take the battery out.
I spent last night looking for solutions online but everyone I found with this problem had gotten it from trying to root their phone or flash a rom (again, terminology?) but I've never done this. My phone is exactly the way it was when I bought it, I've never done anything to it.
I can get into bootloader but if I go to recovery I get the boot loop again. If I go to factory reset I get the boot loop again. This morning I tried to turn it on again, got a boot loop, took the battery out to stop it and when I put the battery back in it just started up again with the boot loop without me even turning it on.
Does anyone know how I can fix this? I'm so confused.

Hi,
If you have never done anything to your phone ,then, take it back to the shop, and tell them.
I was really hoping there was something I could do to fix it myself as I've had the phone since November 2011 and I'm almost certain they will make me pay for a replacement/upgrade. But if it's my only option..

Hi,
Sorry, I did not realize you were out of warranty.
There are 2 possible things you could try.
The easiest is to get another battery.
The second ,if that does not work,is to run a RUU.

My apologies I should've mentioned that I was out of warranty in my original post.
Yesterday I tried a new battery in it but still no luck. I also tried my battery in another HTC and it worked fine, so that's definitely not the problem.
I've been trying to follow the guide to run a RUU but my cid is BM___001 and the only RUU available for that are 1.3.5 and 1.4.5 and I have 3.32
Is there any way around this?

Hi,
Use the 3.32 ruu,and add your cid to it(4.2 in the guide)
Do not worry when you run a ruu.
If it does not work,it will just give you an error.
It will not damage your phone.
Keep trying different ruu's and changing the cid if necessary.

Hi, I'm from the exact same region with the exact same problem. I downloaded RUU_PYRAMID_ICS_TMOUS_3.32.531.14_Radio_11.69A.3504.00U_11.23.3504.07_M2_release_256085_signed
and I tried to add my BM___001 cid in android-info.txt but when I try to save the .txt file I get the message "Archive is corrupted".
Can't I just extract the archive and compress it after?
Plus I'm wondering if I only have to add the cid, the cid and the modelid or the whole thing with the mainversion hbootpreupdate, etc.?

Hi,
Use Winrar.
Double the PG58IMG.zip you made in 4.1 of the guide.
Double click the android-info.txt
Add your cid etc.
Make sure the cid is 8 characters( bm + 3 underscores + 001 )
Then, just close it.
Do not at any point extract it...

I am using Winrar already I tried on another RUU RUU_PYRAMID_LE_ICS_35_S_HTC_Europe_3.32.401.105_R2_Radio_11.69.3504.00U_11.22.3504.07_M_release_253443_signed. I extracted the rom from the temp, opened the android-info.txt, added my cid and modelid to the list, saved and exit, Winrar asking me If I want to update the archive, I click yes and I get the message: PG58IMG.zip: The archive is corrupt

Hi,
Try to copy the android-info.txt to your desktop.
Edit it.
Then, use the delete button in the winrar taskbar to delete the android-info.txt.
Then, use the "ADD" button to add the new android-info.txt.
Then ,you just close it and use the PG58IMG.zip as normal.

Hi
when I arrive at the step where I have to delete the file in Winrar, I'm getting the same error (The file is corrupted). I've modified some others archives that way without any trouble but it seems like the rom.zip from the RUU is protected in some way that whenever I touch the android-info.txt the message "The file is corrupted" pop up. I've tried it with 7-zip to be sure that winrar wasn't the problem and I tried it with 2 differents RUU. I've order a battery to be sure it's not the problem but i'm starting to run out of option

As you didnt modded your phone you are most probably SON that means you can't install any ruu.. Modifying the android- info.txt won't do any good as the signature checking will fail.. Thats why you are getting those errors.
. You need to find a 3.32 ruu with your cid otherwise you are out of luck..
One More thing you can try is unlocking the device using HTC-DEV and then try flashing a custom ROM. But the success rate for this probably would be less

Unfortunately 3.32 ruu are non existing in my region BM 3.32.666 since the update was only OTA. I tried unlocking with HTC-DEV and installing custom rom through 4ext recovery but the 2 roms I tried did the same: They seems to be working correctly for a few seconds then it's restarting in bootloop again, I can pass trough the initial setup fast by bashing ok to keep everything default and having seconds of normal use of the phone before it's gone in bootloop again... At least it's better than the initial bootloop on HTC white screen but still unusable. My last hope seems to be the new battery I've ordered!

Have you enabled smatflash before installing those roms?
Check "flashing Roms with son guide" by asskickar in sensation general section
As to how to flash Roms properly when Son and htcdev unlocked

Yes it's the tutorial I've followed. I've enabled smartflash just before wiping everything except sd card and flashing the rom. I would love to S-OFF with Juopunutbear (HBOOT 1.27.000) but it would need to have the phone on USB debugging wich is not possible because it's bootlooping.

Then do the extra #1 step from the same guide after installing a rom using smartflash... Once you got a working rom you can think of having juopunutbear soff

Nope still stuck. I did the permanent smartflash by installing the 4ext updater in one loop then checking S-On in setting to perma smartflash. Then I wiped the miui rom and flash it again. still bootlooping after about 30-60 sec of activity. Then I tried the extra 1 step on the guide through fastboot (fasboot boot boot.img). Still not working so I did what the guide told in case of problem not solved i.e. reflashing the rom without wiping but i'm still stuck with the same problem. Do you think a new battery i've ordered could solve the problem?

Yes mostly the battery might be having a loose contact.. Have you tried putting a piece of card board to keep the battery pins tight?
