Is it possible to port the lg rom on to the g2x?

Give it a try and port it and post it here, but you didn't do that so you shouldn't be posting at all....not a request thread, it's a development thread.......

Just don't flash a 2x rom on the G2x and come crying for help

if they did, im sure it would be in android development but since its not, my guess would say NO

Now that your post has been moved to da right place... I suggest you read the stickies ...you should be able to come up with the right conclusion regarding your answer ... hint: stickies are your friend if you don't like to search ; p

You guys at Xda rock! I've been trying to find a thread that thanks you guys for all the time and effort you put into making these roms, and kernels. So thanks! And of course thanks to the people putting up the how to's for rooting, flashing and recovering. I wouldn't have been able to root without those. I can't name any names cause I've got a horrible memory and I'm doing this on my newly rooted phone. I followed a few guides on how to flash and recover and my 1st ever root worked like a charm! It was so easy! Almost to easy! Did it on the 1st try and now I'm getting great battery life and no reboots! THANKS AGAIN!

You are using weapon g2x kernel on cm7
1. Weapon doesn't have its own kernel
2. If it did it would never work on cm7

it was a typo. i started this thread to thank the people who helped me. i did post it was my first time doing this so here you go Kernel Dragon G2x, better?

I too want to say thank you!! Written and monetarily. All you devs are geniuses an have delivered more than what I expected. I didn't know what I wanted till I seen the amazing options out there. As amazing as every ROM, we win in every way!

Since the nexus 4g already has a working ics build is anyone working on porting this over they have a full system dump but I believe most of this was a sdk build.

I read in google posts that devices with hardware buttons running ICS will be using them and won't have their on screen replacements. That's good news, but i guess we'll need something official to support that.
