[Q] RCMix3d Runnymede S v2.1 ROM Help

Hey guys, first of all i'm sorry if i'm posting in the wrong place, but i just joined this community,
I just flashed my Desire S with Runnymede ROM, and everything is perfect except 2 things:
1-The Arabic language is not working (same as the stock ROM)
2-Every time click "Personalize" it take me to a facebook page for RCMIX3d, i already liked it, but i keeps taking me there.
Can you please help me, this ROM is perfect, and i would love if i can fix this issues.
PS. This is the first time i Flash my phone, so i'm a noob at this

2nd Question: there's an option under Settings look for RCMixtweaks i think and look for Customize Button, it's not a bug it's a feature of RCMix so you can customize the personalize button..

the Arabic language is not a big deal, since i dont use it a lot, but it would be nice if its working, do you have any idea?

I think you need to apply a mod for that proxuser pointed out a link for the mod on the rcmix thread 1st page.

[THEME] Blueberry mix theme for RcMix3D runny v1.5.1

Hello all curious android fans,
I have seen that this Desire S theme forum is not that much enriched as in Desire HD or Sensation forum... So, I have tried something...(actually tried for mine, then thought to share).. Remember this is my first try & it took a lot of hard work , so don't be mean to me, ok guys?

HTC Sense 3.5 (Endymion) and IceHD

Hello Guys,
im running Endymion on my Desire S (S-on, unlocked with htc dev and rooted with superclick) and i've installed the Theme Manager and applied the IceHD Theme.
After that, i've chosen the Ice HD Skin.
How can i implement the Homescreen like this:

Although im running Endymion v3.4 with IceHD Theme, i don't know how to implement this homescreen.

Go to settings->rcmix3d tweaks->rosie options->check the box on bliss rosie & exit app, then reboot.

Thanks for answer, but it didnt work. It only changed the Buttons on the bottom of the screen. :-(

Select the bliss shortcut widget from all HTC widgets to get the complete look.
If you are looking for the bliss rosie, there is a new ROM out, try it out, giving it a spin as of now.

This ROM is based on the last HTC leak 3.30.401.101.
It is very fast and stable. For now it is stock look.
In the future, this ROM will include addons, but only those that will not affect the speed.

What you need:
HTC Sensation or HTC Sensation XE (have to be S-OFF - Guide to S-OFF here)
Preferably 4EXT Recovery Touch - Last version here
HTC Sensation / HTC Sensation XE ICS Firmware - You can find it here
WarpSpeed ROM (latest version) - You can find it here
How to Flash:
Make a nandroid backup
Download a ROM and place it on your SD-Card
Reboot to recovery mode
Wipe data with your preferable script - A good one is SuperWipe
Select "Choose zip from sdcard" and browse to the location of downloaded WarpSpeed ROM
Reboot when finished flashing

Is there much of a difference in this rom though? speed and responsiveness sorta stuff? From the OP this rom seems kinda similar to S-O-M - no offense intended in the slightest. :thumbup:

Well, I think its preatty same as the other roms, but the fact its debloated with over 50 apks means its have to be faster than usual.
I ll post tommorow zip with debloated apks, if anyone misses some kind of software.
Ofc, I need your feedback. So, we ll add some apks as well in future releases.

I think he means he removed a lot of apps that comes with the stock rom. So this rom is basically bare bones.

Well, I removed as much as I could. Its Sense based, but still much lighter than majority of similar roms.
But, if I clasify something as a bloatware, it doesnt mean its useless for you. Thats why I ll post a downloadable list with all of the apks I removed.

I have just placed screenshot of removed stock apps in the 2nd post.
Added the possibility to download the whole pack, so you can install the apks manually if something s missing for your daily use.
As this ROM is a work in progress, it would be great if you can help to debloat more apks, if left in the rom. I ll just need explanation and description of those apks and than we shall decide to remove it or not.

I like the sound of this, would i be able to flash it via clockworkmod as im not sure i want to try 4ext?

I am sure you can.
4ext is just preffered. But it will work fine if you flash via clockworkmod.

Really nice job my friend. So far no complaints at all. ROM runs smoothly on HTC Sensation XE. I completely agree with your list of removed bloats apk.

[MOD] SuperCharger - Maximum MultiTasking for Sensation - [1 NOV]

You think you managed to multitask the most? Think again!
As some of you may know, from Froyo onwards, Android has an app running limit of 15. Additionally, when an app is inactive for 30 minutes, it is KILLED by the system.
To those who think that these limits are unnecessary, you would be happy to know that the founder of the V6 Supercharger mod, zeppelinrox, has managed to bypass the app limit AND the service inactivity limit with his script. I am sure no introduction is needed for the man whose mod is widely implemented in many of XDA's ROMs. See his new -Ultimate Jar Power Tools- thread.
After running his script for some time, I can safely say that it does make a difference! I am able to multitask more, and probably experienced better battery life as the system is not required to relaunch app after app. Of course, the amount of apps you can run ultimately depends on your phone's RAM.
With the Windows tool from pepcisko, I created the flashable zips for services.jar for the various ROMs. See his thread here.

For those on Sense 4 and above ROMs, a Non-Sense App Limit, on TOP of the above mods, is added due to the additional restrictions introduced with Sense 4. Read more about it here

If you are using the standalone services.jar file, just replace it in system/framework and ensure that the same permissions are applied.
WHETHER YOU ARE USING THE FLASHABLE ZIP OR THE STANDALONE SERVICES.JAR FILE, BE SURE TO WIPE DALVIK CACHE AND REBOOT.
Personally, I enabled Zram and created a 256MB swap partition and was able to notice the increased performance. So do try it out. Yank555 has a thread dedicated to creating a swap partition here.
So, BEFORE you download or do anything, MAKE A NANDROID BACKUP and know what this mod does. Do remember to make a backup of your original services.jar before updating, in the case that this mod made you worse. Well, hopefully not.

I just downloaded Pegasus and Blitz and extracted services.jar from both. Services.jar on both roms have the same MD5 checksum. So going to assume that this will work on Pegasus (at least I'll try it out) Thanks!

So I'm a bit confused. In no way am I a noob but I may be asking a noobish question. Do we need to apply a Non-Sense App Limit mod along with this mod?
For instance, I'm on ViperS 1.3.5 and I'm wondering if its necessary to follow the steps for Sense 4+ ROMs with the Non-Sense App Limit. Or does this mod for ViperS include that already?

Backup the original services.jar. copy n paste with Root Explorer and set permissions. Reboot to recovery and clear Dalvik. Reboot and you're reverted.
Or waste time and SD Card space an advance backup the system.
