Its there any way I can modify something on my phone to make the speaker volume better. I've hour beats audio and that works on headphones and sounds awesome.

AFAIK, there are no mods as it's the speaker itself that limiting it - not Android
Download volume + from the market, worked for me
Volume + also works for me but for me I have to activate the program manually. I don't think there's a setting to make it start on boot or run in background.

Volume + ruined my MIC on 3 sensations.........
Yes, something seems wacky on my mike all. Can I just uninstall?
Mmmm seems like volume + has problems with the sensation I saw once some where that said the hardware was capable but it was limited by the software, just wondered if anybody knew anything about it or if there is a file that can be edited maybe to increase it
or does anybody know how I can instal the system wide version of beats audio?

Anybody?

I believe the latest version of Sense (3.5) corrects this issue. Try one of the great ROMs in the development section. I recommend InsertCoin.

Have you guys found the loudspeaker on your Sensations to be utterly pathetic? I made a few calls today whilst using the loudspeaker function and on all calls it was borderline impossible to hear the person on the other end of the line due to the sound quality and general distortion.
Use equalizer, mines is awesome now.

+ 1 for Equalizer. There's also Volume+ that has worked for a lot of people. I personally prefer Equalizer.

I don't know what HTC did to make the volume on it so low on their stock apps. Whenever I use it to play music on Google Music, it's really loud. Hopefully they address it in an update.
I used Volume + and it worked great for me the phone is nice and loud now.

I tried Volume+ a few days ago but my loud speaker on a call sounded the same. How are you guys getting the call volume to go louder on the speaker?

My in-call volume used to be horrible but using Equalizer, I have it on the lowest setting and it's still LOUD. Give it a try, it's free!

I tried Equalizer while on a call using the speaker and I played around with the settings. It seems to be a little louder now.

Thanks for the update! We were all wondering...
Rock/classical- loud and clear
Heavy metal- projects sound well too
We may need a sound hack similar to the inspire and have it implemented somehow since most of us don't have s off yet

As far as I know you can't do it with the stock camera. Since I had the same problem I found that there are apps in the Play store. Camera 360 is a good one

It's simple and easy application for making photo using volume buttons without phone unlocking
i rooted my phone just days ago with all default software installed, except that i removed a few app that are useless to me like "weibo"
just a quick question. when I'm playing music using headphone, the volume increases after i will receive a message. is this normal?
thanks..:highfive:
Good question: I get the same thing using Revolution
Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G with Beats Audio using xda app-developers app
me too...I'm using ICS stock rom/unrooted of HTC Sensation XE.
I just noticed on Viper Rom (probably any Sense 4 Rom) that when using a good pair of ear buds that block out all sound, you can hear a hum in the background when swiping between screens and going into apps. It's almost like a touchscreen thing. Once you stop swiping and settle on a home screen it stops, but once you switch screens again the hum comes back. Anyone know or can verify this? I'm using a pair of etymotic HF2s with a really good seal, so no other noise is present.

Sorry to bump this back up, but anyone willing to test or confirm/deny? I'm going to roll back to Sense 3.6 and see if the same thing happens.
Can confirm

That could be a hardware problem to me and could be a ground issue there shouldnt be hum in the back ground of any kind

I went back to a nandroid of Sense 3.6 and it virtually disappeared. So it leads me to possibly think of something in Sense 4... But who knows....so many factors...kernel, base, firmware...
I still love Sense 4, but would be great if more can test.
