im looking for a little help if you dont mind please.
i have a htc 7 pro and have just upgraded to the mango update, my phone is unlocked to any network.
question is can i install my own ringtones as the default 1s in the phone are crap.
also is there a way to change the sound the phones gives out when you get a notification on from facebook as the 1 i have is very quiet making .

After I updated my phone to Marshmallow, the incoming ring by default got set to increasing ring. And there is no option to change it. How can i change it to normal? Please someone help me!! Thanx in advance!

On pure stock... can't, Moto removed that option, which is kind of odd to me unless Android Marshmallow in general removed that option entirely.
Guess you would have to root and see if an Xposed module or a custom ROM has it.
I guess i wil have to root or get a custom rom... thank you very much sir!! ???

Do you know special whatsapp . Apk with never need update.
Or tricks for this? I am on rooted device s4 mini 4.4.2

It is not possible. After a stipulated amount of time, you'll be forced to update.

I have a problem with ringtones in my Coolpad Porto S. I cannot select ringtone file to change the phone and notification sound. The system does not provide a list of ringtones to select from. When I go to settings > sound and notifications > General and I click "phone ringtone" or "default notification sound" I am prompted to complete the operation with ES file explorer. Then, it opens a random folder with no sound files.
Is this a bug? The device runs Android 5.1.
What can I do to solve it?

Why Android on Coolpad Porto S does not provide a list of audio files to preview and select from?
Instead, I am prompted to explore the file system looking for an audio file. Plus, even if I go to system/media/audio/ringtones and select a file, the default ringtone sound does not change.
It is a real mess.

Solved
The problem was solved once I uninstalled TotalCommander app.
I am not sure what the exact interference was but once TotalCommander was removed a list to preview and select phone and notification sounds was made available.
BUT, the ringtones I select are still ignored and the defaults are used.
Nevertheless, this specific question has been answered and this thread can be closed.

Hey bro. I didn't find it. I'm searching Coolpad Porto S rom for about 3 months, and it get's annoying. Guys, someone, can you upload Porto S e570 rom?
Anyone know how to access it? With Android 9 and the new emui, i cant get to this option anymore to change for one of my apps. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

EMUI is Huawei but since you asked and I have a P10, settings>battery>battery usage>click on the app and adjust from there.
