The BOS Development team is proud to present yet another fantastic port, the Inspire 4g.
It's never the same old song and dance here, we have allot more to offer with this port. Although this is in it's early stages, we are hoping to see allot of the community interested in this one.

This one has been Re-Inspired* and we are including a few extra just for you guys
Aside from whats being including, I would like to intervene for just a moment, this port is based of virus's rom from xda, so I would just like to give him allot of thanks for this one!
Included:
Threw in a few extra apks
Added some battery tweaks
Removed a bunch of un-needed "Bloatware"
Added power controls
Added Recent Apps
Known Issues:
**I don't know allot of the issues as i have no Evo at this moment to test this rom. I should have it by next weekend, and I'll run through the rom and give it an inspection.**

how to change power widgets
Stock_power_widgets (flash in recovery)
to customize your widgets
open up the stock power widgets zip file
navigate to system/customize and open the widget.txt file
you will see:
toggleGPS|toggleWifi|toggleBluetooth|toggleMobileD ata|toggleFlashlight|toggleSound
it has to look exactly like this but replace the widget with one from below.
replace any of them with one of these
toggleAirplane
toggleAutoRotate
toggleBluetooth
toggleBrightness

Okay these screen shots look sick I must admit, and in the morning I will be giving this rom a run, but I have a few questions, I'm noticing tha how popular GSM ports are, but I don't understand why, wouldn't the thunderbolt rom make a port? And if not why?

One thing I have noticed is that swype keyboard is not usable on this rom. Tried a couple of different ways and couldn't get it to work. Also the htc IME keyboard just fc's.

Tips:
For those that are interested, this is how i setup my phone after flashing a sense rom:
After first boot (In no order):-
Go to Settings > Sound
Turn off "Quiet Ring On Pickup"
Turn off "Pocket Mode"
Turn off "Flip For Speaker"
Turn off "Vibrate feedback"
Turn on "Screen lock sounds"
Go to Settings > Location
Turn off "Phone finder"
Go to Settings > Date & Time
Turn off "24 Hour format"
Go to Settings > Language & Keyboard > Touch Input > Text Input
Untick all boxes.​
Other Tips
For battery turn off:
Quiet pocket mode under settings/sound
Turn off auto brightness
Make sure wifi sleep mode is set to "Never" but should be by default
Turn off phone finder under locations, use wheres my droid instead if you are worried
If battery drain seems "weird" not bad just odd, use "BATTERY CALIBRATION" from the market​
1. Boot into recovery
2. Backup
3. Full EXT4 Wipe
4. Flash Pyramid3D_v1.1.0.zip
5. Boot phone and setup
DONE

CRT screen is in there which is awesome but is there anyway to get rid of the neon skin and just use the Sense ones? So far so Good...I'll run a full test this afternoon and see how it goes. If I cant get rid of the neon skin I might have to lose it though

Ok ...been testing this & notice how long it takes to go from app's or other to home screen. Realy a pain. But everything other is awesome so far. Vary nice work!

Same, more so for apps that need updating, weather and gmail seem to be the worst, taking almost 4-5 seconds to get back home...other than that everything is awesome! battery life seemed okay, nothing weird either! Quality work man!

I havent run into that issue yet. Everything is pretty quick and snappy. I'll give it a full run down when I head off to work though. I like this more than ARHD 6.1.1 because Retro Camera actually works here which is doesnt on AR. Good work for sure! Would definitely like some updates and performance tweaks over time such as what you can find in the AR Rom's. That would make this guy my daily driver for sure.

This is now my favorite sense roms I love pyramid ports and this one is no exception its fast and beautiful great job

this is lovely!! i was just coming to comment on how much i absolutely adore this rom...especially the supped up quick settings menu! my only complaint is that the honeycomb theme doesn't exactly fit in with my personal theming taste, as i'm more of a halloween/purpleandorange girl (all year 'round). my only request was going to be a non-themed patch.
this is quality work man. very very nice. so far, everything is running very smoothly for me. i haven't had any issues with laggy transitions from app to homescreen (knock on wood).
the only issue i seem to be experiencing is my the phone switching back randomly to charge only when i have it plugged in to my PC as disk drive. it's quite possible this is an issue with my SDcard though. i just got it last night, and it seems to be giving me some issues. it's a 32gb. not sure if that could be it, but just wanted to mention it in case.

I'm on ARHD 5.0.1, and here are some screen shots if anyone want to have a look before they flash.
Overall I say wait, don't flash yet. Even thou everything seems to be working, still needs tweaking a bit to be used as a daily driver. If you want to flash, then I recommend mike's ARHD, to me it seems to be smoother and pretty stable.

Whats the widget on the first screenshot above the power bar showing the minutes texts and data? Quite a nice looking widget, quite useful seeing as my network's app which would normally show that doesnt work with ICS.

I believe the widget you are looking at is the "phoneusage" app, it's free from the market

Have you tried flashing CTDroid's tweaks and Jeff's TraBar (Transparent Taskbar)?
I'm really hoping they'll work with ICS. I'd hate to go back to having the normal battery indicator instead of my handy % sign, and a glossy, windows vista-looking taskbar.

It's a free app on the market. Search for "DX Battery Booster", I got mine from a Chinese source, let me know if you want this most recent version (1.3), it's yet to be updated on the market

No I didn't flash any tweaks, it's the official ICS launcher. I flashed the apk pack (which can be found on different ROM threads, ARHD for one as it's where i got mine from.) which gives me a few default ICS apps (Music, launcher... )
+1 for the battery % sign, but i've got a app which tell me the battery % on the notification bar

Tried the ROM.. still going through it... found one issue so far:
1. The Audio quality (during calls) is a bit sharp and not pleasant to the ear... can some one else confirm it ? (It is not sharp on other ROMs)...
Otherwise the ROM is quite good ... Love the all black look

Well, this bug may be present, i guess it's closely related to the caller hearing an echo. I'll see what i can do.

yes I can confirm that sound during of call is not good... but ROM is pretty nice.

The rom runs smoothly on my phone, great work. Only on fc in icetool when clicking on system tab.

This is a best AOSP ROM so far for desire S.
1. Caller voice is sharp.
2, ICEtool fc when choose the system tab
3. proximity recalibrator gives error 'Kernel not supported: ps_polling_ignore not found'

Yeah, the proximity recallibaration is for DHD, the lordmodue kernel to be more specific. It won't work for DS
