After flashing to virtous rom my incredible did not receive any service at all. I restored back to stock and still got no service. I don't know how to fix it. Someone please help.
just had the same thing happen. should be a simple solution...but hopefully someone will tell us!!

Hey guys,
I rooted the phone and took of some AT&T apps, but am experiencing the damn GPS issue that others seem to be experiencing. I would like to revert back to factory install of the phone so I can exchange and hopefully get lucky with a new phone. Can someone please detail the procedure for me??

Over in the Development section, there's a thread with instructions on how to fix the GPS problem. Most are finding it works. You might check that before going through the trouble.

hi,i have htc dream g1 with os 1.6(rooted by the universal software method)...the problem is that i cannot recieve any kind of messages,,i can recieve calls,emails but not texts.I can also send te texts and others can recieve but i cannot. please see to this and help me,,it would be helpfull if anyone can give me the solution on my mail id.. ].. regards salman.. how to solve this??

First of all since your device is rooted I would suggest flashing a new ROM for your G1 and then a Radio which may fix your issue in receiving messages.

Warning though, flashing Radios can be dangerous and can brick your phone if done wrong, so be careful and I'm not responsible if you brick you device

Hi, my friend has this phone and she cant receive sms anymore, i told her i could fix it just by rooting it + installing new rom on it, but now im new to these thread so could anyone guide me to which rom is super stable and if i have anything else to flash like a kernel or something. THANKS!!

If this phone is stock, then SMS not working is probably due to apn/provider settings being wrong in Settings.
Brotip: Welcome to the friend zone. She wants you to fix her phone so she can sext/send n00ds to some meathead.
Hi, my english isn't good, Im from SouthAmerica and Im not experienced with cellphones, I just registered here trying to find help with my problem, my s3 was working good with ariza patch but after somebody did an accidental hardreset the simcard is not working, imei:NULL/NULL. I try again with Ariza Patch but still the problem. In desperation I've installed some different Roms and now im not a Rooted user so i can't try with efs and rootexplorer. I dont know what to do, I came here for help, in my city I have to pay USD80.00 for someone to fix it, so I offer here USD20.00 for anyone who can help me, give me step by step instructions and solve the problem. I don't know if im in the right place to ask for this. sorry for my english.
can anyone help me please. i would really appreciate a immediate response from somebody. well.. this is how it goes.. i bought this htc butterfly S from an online seller not knowing it is rooted.. when i received the package i saw that the phone is rooted. the problem is i cannot download anything on it at all. there is no google play and the insertcoin market always says that "unexpectedly, insertcoin market has stopped".... it always goes that way even though i restart the phone. i tried downloading on the internet browser on the phone but still, no luck. it wont download. so my only option is to restore it back to its original unrooted settings... can anyone give me a step by step guide on how to do it properly without bricking my phone. your response will be greatly appreciated. please help me...coz im very desperate to use on its original settings. thank you guys!!
