Good day guys, Im trying to find an application for my x10 wich had installed previously but now that Im using new rom Ive lost it.
It has all the features for multimedia docking and has a clock icon, on my phone it just says clock as the name for it but what it does is (set alarms, works as a desk clock, plays your music, and shows photos all in a single interface) if anyone could guide me would be very apreciated, thanks a lot

There's a deskclock app in stock 2.3 for X10 that looks like that.
Not sure if it will work on a rom not based on SE stock.
Here you go: (attached)

Smooth calendar or grid cagebdar are neat. 3g watchdog (monitors your data usage) and apn Droid (disables and enables 3g data) are both useful if your data plan isn't unlimited. And genie widget is also quite good and has a nice app to go with it (news add weather) though you'll have to Google that one as it isn't on the market.
any suggestions for Messeage widget?Mail Widget? and Photo album widget?

Try Pure Messenger for the message/mail/texts
suggestion: what about turning this thread into a widget collection, OP updating #1 to get a referential on the subject instead of getting multiple/duplicate threads on the subject? this is not the oldest thread on the subject, but the one with the most generic subject and maybe it could be turned into the last of it's kind...

I like the Ted Zkeletal clock widget, it's a nice change. It is quite large though.
Hi, anyone.
I am the first user of Android. Can anyone help me how to enable Fancy Widget on my Xperia X10?

you download from the market, then add the widget by long pressing the screen? of course you need to have sufficient space for it.
What version did you use? I just download 1.8 and the weather icon doesn't show up....

THANKS, shadowmike! I looked for hours for the "News and Weather" for my MyTouch and never could find it for my stock ROM.
This is exactly the app I was looking for ... gosh it tells you everything you need to know in the morning!
Is this the latest version of this? Was looking for version 1.2.02 RC2. Not sure if its any better or has any bug version fixes from version 1.1.7 RC6(PROD).
Would appreciate any help.
Thanks.
I'm also looking for the latest version. I have FroYo on my Galaxy S, and this one just wont run

Is there a way to change the wallpaper or colours or themes all at once on Xperia X10 (UI, Timescape, Mediascape)?
I hate having a green wallpaper on UI and then using Sony Ericsson's blue dialer, messenges manager, Mediascape or Timescape...
Is there a way?
THIS might help to get you started.
Hi - You can change the wallpaper easily... and you can download apps to replace many of the standard things, which you can often change the backgrounds colours etc on.....
however, if you really want to get under the skin of your phone, and have some technical skills.. then follow the link in the post above.. if you don't have a tech background.. beware.. in can be a bit scary!

Can you suggest any apps?
I use meridian for my vids, mixzing for music, just pictures for pics and handcent for sms.
Have not found a decent phonebook yet, they are either too complex for my needs, or simply crap.

Handscent SMS - you can customise this a lot!
ADW Launcher in place of the standard home screens.

I meant apps to change themes and wallpapers all over Xperia X10. Modifying everything including SE dialer, messenger, Mediascape and Timescape...
You'll need to check out the link that XperiaX10iUser posted for that. Or check out chewitts Dark10 series, as these are pretty complete so you can see everything that is being modified.
You'll get 3rd party apps to change the wallpaper, but these won't be able to change the Timescape or Mediascape background. It would be possible to write an app to do this, or if you had the modified backgrounds you could maybe use something like ninjamorph to update the background files. I'm not sure if Mediascape would update immediately or after a reboot, and for timescape you would need to go into the themes and reselect the current theme...
Long story short It would be possible to change the wallpaper, ms and ts backgrounds using an app but there isn't currently one (and probably won't be untill 2.1 is out for the X10, I know I won't be doing anything major with ms and ts until the next version is available). You could do it with ninjamorph but you need to copy each file individually.
I pretty much just settle on a theme for a while and if I want a change then I connect my phone to my PC and run a batch to update the theme with adb.
Hope this clears things up, rather than confusing things
I want th eWeather / clock widget thats posted from the 2x I installed the apk file by downloading to the computer and adding to my phone then used appinstaller to install but it is not in my widgets. I do see it under my applications. Could someone please help me
It's in the Apps and themes section under LG apps or something like that. If you're not using a custom launcher like adw then then widget takes the entire screen. I am using MIUI Digital Weather, free on the market.

Right, I had this issue back on Froyo. I don't know why, but it only worked if I wasn't using a custom launcher. If you disable your launcher, it will work. I notice on 2.3.3 that LG calender widget doesn't appear on the widget menu.
I have the Stock LG camera on 2.3.3, zero lag.

Are you on 2.2.2 or 2.3.3?
Well, after pressing the button the camera has to adjust its focus and whatnot to take a good picture.

There is an almost identical one in the Market called 3D Digital Weather Clock. It will show up as a widget and works quite well.

That was the "almost identical" part of my comment. Sorry, I couldn't find an exact duplicate.
GO Weather is a similar widget and it's skinable to be flowery or several other things.

[Q] How to Get the Stock Moto Weather & News, My Gallery, My Music, Weather Widget
So I am about to upgrade to the new SuperCharged V6 thanks to our amazing devs but I kind of want to keep the stock Motorola My Music app (since it has nice internet radio and FM radio), the stock My Gallery (since it has built in editing), and the Weather widget (the one that uses Accuweather but has a cool bluish theme and is really nice). I am a noob, so can anyone tell me a way I could extract those or find them somewhere so I can install them onto the new ROM?
Edit: Sorry guys now that I have finally gotten SCv6 setup enough to be a daily driver, I have found that the My Gallery and My Music have been retained! I don't know what got into me when I created the thread (probably was thinking about Bullet?).
The Weather and Weather & News widgets have not been retained, however, so that is what I'm wondering about now.
I dunno about the weather widget since I don't think that I've ever used it, but My Music and My Gallery are preserved, so I don't see why a widget wouldn't be.
Can you not pull just those apps from a stock-based rom that has them included, and place them into the app folder within SCv6?

I was just in the hospital playing on my phone. I deleted Go Launcher and opened an app I found called Blur and it when through setup and threw me on the original moto blur launcher.
Sorry I was pretty drugged up and I cant remember the steps clearly...

I got stock Blur launcher working through Home Switcher, but that would probably not help if the original widgets were removed from the ROM. Thanks though!
