[Q] - General Questions and Answers

P L E A S E H E L P ! ! !
Guys, I'm new here. can anybody help me with my problems - I have 2 phones: 1.5 years old Vibrant T959 and 3 months old Galaxy S 4G T959V. I'm in US.
Vibrant: A couple months ago updated Vibrant from 2.1 to 2.2 using Kies mini w/o any problems. However, after downloading and running Z4Root from Amazon App Store (supposed to work for 2.2) get nothing. repeat it zillion times with debug yes and no - the same result - application running, but nothing happens after it.
Galaxy S 4G: as many times as I've tried to connect with Kies mini it does not go into MTP screen (blue screen with 'connected" message) and Kies mini gives me "unregistered device" - please note that if I select music player after connecting USB cable - it does go into MTP screen, but this is, I believe, different mode .
Today I've uninstall Kies mini and install Kies 2.0 - Galaxy S 4G still does not go to into MTP screen, but Vibrant does. But for both I've got "device does not support Kies 2.0".
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

[Q] Samsung Galaxy Tablet 7" requesting repair?

I bought this Galaxy Tab 7" WIFI model GT-P1010. I tried to update the original software, Android 2.2 Froyo, using Odin v1.7 and something went wrong and now I can't even make it turn it on. I charged for 8 hours and I can't make it go into download mode. I saw some videos on youtube and it seems I "bricked" the tab.
I am looking for someone that can fix it. I live in San Francisco, CA. Can anyone help me?

[Q] Help Unroot Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 GT-P5100 (Vodafone Australia)

Hello beautiful forum world,
I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 GT-P5100 on Vodafone network, Australia. This is my first forum post so go easy on me
I looked up how to root my tab about a year ago so that I could install a Nintendo 64 emulator. I installed Odin and connected a PS3 controller to play the games. It was awesome. I also installed Superuser.
Now, a year later, my tablet is slow and sluggish. I have no desire to have any emulator games or non-Google Play apps installed on the device so I have decided to unroot the tablet and update to the current Samsung firmware.
I would appreciate any help I can get on the subject, I've looked at a few forums but can't find any info on my device/country provider. Not sure if it's all important but I would prefer not to 'brick' my tablet as it's my only phone - my Xperia S died .....

Not compatible with Tab S 8.4?

I just got my watch today, but it is not able to connect to my Tab S 8.4 LTE... The Gear manager in my tablet cannot find the watch even though it is right next to it. I tried to reboot both devices and turn the Bluetooth off and on, and nothing works. Really Samsung, not even compatible with your own galaxy devices?

The watch will work with every phone with 1.5 gb of ram and android 4.4 and up. I'm sure you will find a second hand S5 for 100 $ to use it for 3 or 4 months. Then resell it.

Yea, that is probably what I should do now. Good advice, thanks.
I'm in the same boat as you. My primary phone is (and will continue to be) a Tab A with telephony. It won't work with the S3, so I picked up a cheap Android that lives in my desk drawer and is only used on occasions when the watch needs to be paired with a phone.
I run a Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 and i had to buy a used Samsung Galaxy S4 mini to pair and configure my Gear S3. What a pity !
Hi!
Any updates on this?
I spent last couple of days trying to pair Gear S3 with Tab 8.4 Pro (SM-T325) running stock kitkat 4.4 - no luck (((
It's such a shame that Samsung doesn't even make an attemp to make their own devices compatible with each other. Was a big surprise for me.
So, did anybody manage to couple Gear S3 with any tablet? If yes, how did you do it?
