Sent from my HTC Sensation XE with Beats Audio using Tapatalk

The Sensation has a gyroscope. You can always download an app to take panorama photos if needed.

in the iPhone 4 & iPad 2 if u visit 360cities.net u will can see pictures without touching the screen
see this video - 2:41 and u will know what i mean
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=duEnfoZyUSQ

http://www.htc.com/www/smartphones/htc-sensation/#specs
according to that, it has a "Gyro Sensor" which I'm guessing is the same thing.

Are you people that dense that you don't understand he is asking about a type of software not if the phone has a particular piece of hardware.
As to why it doesn't work is beyond me I haven't tried that app as of yet.

WHOA .... easy tiger.
He has made himself less than clear as to what the hell he is talking about. And when I look at the clip he links to it shows me some sort of iphone app that has something called a "gyroscope button" on it, which really has nothing to do with a real gyroscope at all, other than it spins as you do.
So in answer to the OP, yes the Sensation has a gyroscope in it. But that has nothing to do with the app that is being demonstrated on the clip. You need to know what the name of the app they are using is, and then see if it available in an Android format.

did anyone understand me ???????
i don't want any panorama app !!!!!!!!!!!!
in iPhone 4 and iPad 2 if u visit [ 360cities.net ] u can see any panorama photo in the site using Gyroscope like this video in 2:41 !!!

Isn't it compatible with Google Earth? At first, from what I understand, you only need Google Earth to watch.
If you want to create, it's out of my knowledge. I will dig deeper.
If you go on the Market, there is some apps for panorama : here maybe one is suitable for what you want to do.

NO!!!!!! Now is it us or you?
The video you link to is about a panorama app. And in your 1st post you refer to a panorama app. And now you tell us you don't want a panorama app!
If I go the 360cities.net site I can click on the photo and then drag it around 360 degrees. The screen does not move if the phone turns around, but that is not because the Sensation does not have a gyroscope. You will need to ask the people who have that website why it does not work with Android in the same way you say it works with an iphone.
And by the way Wil Badger, it seems the original question was about a piece of hardware, and how it worked with a website

You would have thought so from his initial question, but it appears not. That is a type of panorama app and he does not want a panorama app apparently, at least that is what he said in his last post.
He wants a particular website to act in a particular way when he views it with his Sensation. At least I think that is what he wants. But .... hey ... I may be wrong.

The video shows an app, not a website? No website is gonna use your Gyroscope, not on an iphone nor on the Sensation!

You can do the exact same thing with a panorama app. The sensation has a gyroscope and you can do this by just moving your phone at the direction you wish! Now i'm not sure if this is what you are looking for but i believe it's not our fault that we can't understand!

Keep on topic and stop the name calling arguing. OP, please edit & rephrase your post and title as it's causing lots of trouble and no one seems to understand.

The Sensation does have a Gyroscope. You can try it in Street Veiw in Google Maps. Whereever you move you phone the veiw on the phone's screen will move accordingly.
So it seems that 360cities is just not compatible yet with Andorid.

1.Starting the application into a black screen is a bit - distasteful and not user friendly. Add the buttons that you have when pressing menu here.
2. The Plumb and Level indicators are a bit hard to get right, you should probably think about over laying a set of arrows to tell the user how they need to move to get level and plumb.
3. Typical camera uses the trackball to snap the picture instead of menu or a screen tap (at least on our heros) This would make it more fluid.
4. Not sure how you are storing/retrieving GEO information, but its wrong...at least for me it is
5. Just in my office - it seemed like one picture would have a different light saturation than another frame in the picture.
6. Your stitching of the pictures seems like it has a VERY low error tolerance, and you might try looking at other ways of matching and stitching pieces together so they are seamless.
7. After you have one panorama, instead of showing it at the beginning, have a gallery button, this way they can come into a screen of buttons and actually navigate with out having to use hard keys.
The above was meant to be constructive - please don't take offense, I think you have a good starting point with the app. If you need help with any of it let me know, I have a pretty decent Java/Android background, just no time to make my own apps.

I didn't understand the difference between the two different options for creating a panoramic pic (I don't remember what they were called, manage and auto I think)
I also didn't understand the point of levels
Also it would be nice when the stitching occurs if the app looked for overlap and then removed the overlapping parts of the pic.
Another suggestion would be that when you take a pic that is part of the panoramic shot that you leave it on screen and then overlay the camera view over it so you can better line up and tell where the next shot should be.

[Q] Wide Screen Camera?

Anyone anyone? It makes widescreen movies but no pictures?
Anyone.?
G2x Tmobile.
2.3.3 Stock
Is auto rotation enabled under your system settings? I think if its disabled then the camera won't rotate to landscape mode.
Why not just add the 16:9 borders yourself? Not that hard. lol
Try vignette and set the frame to "fullscreen". It automatically takes (crops) pictures you take to the aspect ratio of your screen. Not to mention the pictures look great.

Are you kidding me?
Do you have a rough idea how graceful a widescreen pic looks. Why dont you simply say that i am here and i dont know how to do it. If a windows phone HD2 can do it with cm7 why cant you guys do it for a device that is android native. I want answers. Think of me as judge judy and yourself as you know who!
How about *not* being rude? You asked a question, people helped you to the best of their ability by advising you to try another camera app from the market. You ignored that poster three or more times and then demand help?
No. No one is going to make this option magically appear for you just because *you* want it.
Go ahead and sell your G2x, that's not really a threat we care about. That way we dont have to see you posting your rude remarks around here again anyway
The wide option is simply just not available on the g2x (yet?). Stop crying about it

For that you're right, but somewhere I read that P6200 get better grades.
What about the screen, which showed better ? I may pick up p6800 because of 800 x 1280 pixels and in p6200 is 600 x 1024 pixels.
What do you think about this ? can take it for 200$ less than P6800.
The main question is whether the gains ICS ?
http://www.gsmarena.com/motorola_xoom_mz601-3834.php
Friends I decided to take P6800 Galaxy tab 7.7, but still need a small help, can someone tell me this: When link is placed on the facebook page is it show like on computer ( to open a image of the link ) or show as on mobile phone ( just link is showing, no image of it ) I hope I was clear .... because on some phones it only show link when it is published( try to publish something on fb page if you have it and see whether they leave only a link without an image ). This is important to me because I advertise sites on fb and if there is no picture in the link fewer people will watch the content and this would be a big problem..... Thank you in advance

I saw that, but to me it is not necessary because I would not use it as a phone, I would use the phone for calls, I would use the internet over the phone via portable wi-fi hotspot, or via wi-fi at home and the rear camera, I really did not need it again because the mobile is with me all the time wait to see what will be the final spec. if the price is 200-250$ would be acceptable. Just wondering build quality for that price. I read somewhere it will be a display of over 200ppi that would be great

friend before offending think twice!
I'm new to the forum and did not know this rule ..
I'll remove the app.
Typically paid apps can not be ported with out the developer's permission. For paid apps, the developer has chosen to commercialize his work and porting it to another device could be taking away important support for future development.
