You all know my hatred for the new market because it is uuuber slow and laggy.
Good news now is that google has released the new market 3.1.6 that has improved speed and loads at a faster speed- downloads quite quickly

I already had this version of the market, but not with the optimizations....i'm running WB v6.0s and just installed it over my existing market and have opened it up a few times and I gotta admit, it opens up pretty damn fast. Good job and thanks

Reporting that it worked like a charm. Weird thing is, after install i checked the version and said 3.1.3 but then after a while, market closed. Then i opened it again and then it showed 3.1.5 and very fast! Good work!

I got the new Market auotmatically pushed to my X10.
it worked and my market now says 3.1.5. i did not have much time to test it though... i just installed the .apk file through nomral installation
Downloading the "flashaholic" version.. was fed up with the default market.. thanks!

I tried that. I took the apk off my wife's rooted stock rom but when I try to install the app, it says "application not installed."

I have simply de-odexed the 2.3.3 leak for the G2x. I will be working on my own rom ASAP based on this leak, so be on the lookout for that soon!

stuck at 18 megabytes 3rd try
Luckily I dled at 430 lol haha. Woke up with cold sweats and needed to flash something! Flashed and all is well, although I did randomly lose my phone capability once. Called vm and nothing happened no ringing at all. So I called myself and still nothing. Rebooted and its fine. Probably just a hiccup. Thanks guys !

Its deodexed, which means its easier to edit the theme and everything else.

Its pretty much the same. Maybe in a day or two - the customized roms will start coming out - thats when the fun begins

Try this http://db.tt/FZXR0xa either use some kind of root explorer put it in system/app or replace the file in the zip with it then flash it

3.1.5 WAS PATHETIC...I dont have a very high speed connection...no wifi either....so used to acces market from the browser....
lets install this and see......
A little bit better than 3.1 but itsnt perfect :/ And the skin s the sme for Europeans users ...

I was able to fix it. Redownloaded the apk and did the whole procedure again. No problems anymore.

There's no difference coming from an older version. Running neak 4.03 on my Galaxy sii. From what I can see, it's lacking the magazines and other new options, in fact it looks identical to the previous version. Has anybody else seen these new features?

Yes checked the version number I have it installed and working but how did the play market completely uninstall that's just weird.everything is stock no custom Rom or kernel it's just rooted.

I know this is off-topic, but it's still mostly about the system/app folder o.o A few hours ago I pulled the updated market from the 4.1OTA zip and got it working. Any idea how to get Google Now working? I know it's pretty much locked down, but it's quite the wonderful thing.

Im using the HTC One X on Rogers, i installed 3.7.11 and yea i checked my version number and it concurs, but its still just showing apps,movies,and books
I was just wondering if there was a geographical restriction on this ?
FYI...The mag and buy movies features are for the US only.
