OK, here we go....
This is a port of my cm6.1 theme now for CM7
I redid a few images, mainly the battery and a few odds and ends....themed out Music, Genie, DeskClock and Power control widgets.
there are a few more things i'd like to do with this....
*edit* now fixed and with only 1 apk
Instructions:
1. Download apk
2. Place on the root of your sd card
3. Using a file explorer, install "alpha7_signed_11.apk"
4. Open theme chooser
5. Select alpha7
6. You will get this error: "Sorry, this theme is missing assets for your device's screen size." Hit apply anyway
7. Reboot
8. Enjoy!

Nice looking work! I have a thought about the not installing correctly, the theme chooser apps only seem to render their fullness if in /system/app, if left in /data/app they seem to be less complete. I use androidian, and if I run it as a data app it doesn't apply the .png for the dropdown header, and if it's in system app, it does anyway, hope that helps...

the problem is the theme Chooser. up till a certain nightly or RC, themes would show in the theme Chooser. now, they wont show but the number of themes installed will change.

i cant get this to work. aospCM7. i keep getting, error, this theme was improperly compiled. and i cant apply it. restarted the phone and still no go

did you install the second apk after the first?

It wouldn't let me. I install the 1st apk and when I try to install the 2nd it asks me to launch the app or uninstall... like a if the 2 apk's were the same.

i got it to work. i was using astro before. i used root explorer this time. thanks bro love the theme!

Ugh, then I have to uninstall a bunch of other stuff that it comes with. I run a very minimal ship here, anything I don't use within the first week or so of flashing a ROM, I delete.

A small release after seeing how popular transparent launcher mod was, now with the new 2011 Xperia update leaked launcher.
Advantages of the launcher

Screenshot:As usual, ignore the transparent statusbar....I'm too lazy to make a new screeny . This is a old screeny from the 2.1 days. I am having problems using transparent PNGs with the stock GB, it causes all kinds of FCs and dissapearings, so I'm stuck, so no transparent statusbar and theme for now until I learn how to fix it. Any help is appreciated

Which error? It should work perfectly...I did it myself with wolf 2.3 rom.
editk, I see the problem...SE don't like it if you mess with their apks. I will reupload with a flashable zip, give me 5-10 minutes

the way to install the apk on stock rooted SE 2.3.3 is as follows, well this is wot i did and it worked lol:
1. download the apk in 1st post and rename to Home.apk
2. using root explorer replace the current Home.apk with the one u just renamed (in system/app )
3. change permissions of the apk (all 3 ticked in 1st column and only the 1st in second column.
4. reboot
well a zip has been provided so wud probably be easier jus to do that lol. thanks to OP great stuff

this new SE launcher supports themes, but obviously there are none as this launcher was leaked out from the 2.3.4 update the newer Xperia models will get. but i am pretty sure some1 will remedy that soon enuff.

when you open the app drawer u get 3 icons at the bottom, 1 is the a-z thing, the middle is home button and last icon at bottom of drawer is 4 little squares, press this and it allows u to hide apps from drawer. the thing im not sure if this uninstalls them or hides them as ive not tried the function.

It uninstalls the app instead of hide. Which is awesome.

Only thing I miss is > the (transparant) powermanager from the WB 2.2.1 v009 on this version?
(wifi/Bt/Gps/Sync/3G/displayettings/screen)

Really interested in getting a transparent status bar on 2.3.
Specifically WB's ROM.
Let me know of any progress made. I tried using UOT kitchen, it kind of worked, but it was a little buggy.
It was my first experience with UOT though, I'll mess around with it some more soon.

I need some details not just a "It sucks" vote and a post JUST saying it won't work. I might need to also attach the updated TimescapeSpline.apk

It doesnt fully work, all other Widgets then the all Widget fc, so just Twitter or FB Widger fc only the Widget with all [SMS,Twitter,FB and more works]

OP updated; added the same TimescapeSpline, TimescapeEventStream and the extensions from my phone and mine works fine 100% but I also installed these apks over the existing ones

you need to have a file explorer such as root explorer or I/O file explorer Astro file manager then locate the apk and install like normal and choose replace when it asks. do NOT delete the /system .apk or replace it with the ones provided!

when i press on "Start" it says something like "Activity not found com.sonyericsson.advancedwidget.timescape"

no if you have NOT deleted anything from the /system/app you should just have to install like normal and hit yes when it asks to replace, you should not have to replace anything with a file explorer

unfortunately non of the apks are installing. you thing it could have something to do with my phone not beeing rooted yet?

Revamped Widgets Pack [18.11.12]

Finally I've managed to gather all the important widgets from 2.1 to 2.3.3 and renew them so that they can match with the new Xperia widgets.
How to install: flash through xrecovery or push through ADB. From now on CWM recovery is also supported so installation is even easier, after you're done flashing, go to recovery and fix permissions.

It works for both, i've tested it on Achotjan's Debrand Engine Cm9 and they're completely functional except for the media widget, it opens the music player only, and doesn't recognize the new gallery, in it's next version i'll try to fix that.

Ive tried the media widget but it doesnt show up in the.. widgets menu.. whats wrong? im on sde cm9 (and using sony laucner)

Install it with ADB and put it in system apps, also, if it doesn't work this way check the option "install" and it should show up.

@serge327, there you go buddy, download the attached file, extract it and then put the two files to system>font.
@IDreadman, you can also use some sort of root explorer and go to system>app, then paste your desired widget there. Then hold on the pasted widget and click permissions, check them as shown here:

[APP] Sony ID + Transparent weather widget

Hi guys, this app works in every device and it was modded by me. I love the new Sony Weather app but I don't like the wallpapers used for the widget, so i thought to work on a transparent version and this is the result. To apply the mod you need to install the original version before and than you must paste the mod version through the system with a root file manager. NB flashing the .zip file (1st step) you will be able to download other Sony apps too (Music, Album ecc.)

yes...probably the Play Store needs to recognize you as Xperia Smartphone. After the flash of the zip i suggest a wipe cache/dalvik...and be patient because sometimes the identification isn t immediate!

you must download the modded version.. it s called "base. apk"
go to the download folder (system/download) by root explorer (or another file manager root) and copy that "base. apk".. after that you must go to system/data/app and search the folder of the xperia weather..opening that you ll find another "base.apk". replace it pasting the app already copyed and after press for 2 second on the app.. go to the permissions of that app and change them in RW-R--R--

You don't install the transparent apk, you have to copy it to data/app/com.sonymobile.xperiaweather as shown in the OP, then and change the permissions and reboot - profit :good:
