[Q] PLEASE I need some genius to help me urgently - internal SD nightmare!!! - LG Optimus 3D

Hi
I had an Atrix and used it for three months, then the internal memory (SD area) seemed to corrupt - I could not format or unmount it or access anything in there apart from copying files with Astro or ES File Manager. Even a full factory restore of the phone did not delete any of the data on the Internal SD (or Media Area). Ended up getting rid and getting an Optimus 3D.
Now, had the 3D for a month and can't believe I am having a similar problem. Android market apps kept disappearing on boot up (this is what started before), and randomly they would be there or not on each reboot. I moved some files using file manager from the internal to the external SD to create some room and my phone got stuck in a boot loop so I had to remove the battery and external SD for it to work again. Then, all of the apps on the internal sd instead of their icons had the android sd symbol and when clicked on say 'application not installed on phone'. When I look at the Sd and memory storage, the internal SD is nearly full still! I can't access it, can't factory reset it, or delete data. Surely there is some way of sorting this without yet another handset - it's gotta be a fixable glitch? In desperation rooted phone with Superoneclick which was really easy but doesn't help me because I can download from the market, etc, but can't actually install - I am stuck in the install 'candybar' for ages and it just won't work. I thought of manually deleting all of this stuff but I can't get a file manager onto the phone and the factory reset wiped out ES and Astro, I can't get them back on in the usual way.
Because I have root access now, I presume I may be able to use ADB through my PC to sort this problem - but of course would need exact commands etc, on how to do this through the command prompt? I am not an expert but think I just need to get rid of the carp on my internal SD which must have a corrupt file somewhere. Please help urgently, it is frustrating beyond belief and I almost feel like going back to Apple!!!!

This is a GUI for ADB a graphical front end. You can use it to push/pull some apk to your phone if ya need to. Hope this helps in some way.

[Q] Urgent - need help with an issue on my xoom.

Previously I was using cm9, after that I upgraded to cm10. I wiped data, wiped cache in cwm recovery.
After that, I tried xfering some files over to my tab, it looked like this
i. imgur.com/T3LAU.png
From this picture, it can be seen that my internal memory has files and is not empty
yet when I enter the folder
i. imgur.com/Mn7lR.png
Completely empty, cant be seen.
Even after trying to copy and paste files in, only the new files appear, can no longer find my old files.
Can anybody help me? same thing for the SD card. SD card only detected when I removed and plugged in with external usb card reader to my pc.
(I can't post images yet, hopefully someone with >10 posts can hotlink it for me).
Really urgent because I have to use it for my lecture notes in school.
If you want a workaround on this issue, you can use a cloud storage app. For example, dropbox (go to my signature and click the dropbox logo) can allow you to transfer files without even plugging your Xoom into your computer
Managed to solve the issue by doing a complete memory wipe on my internal hard disk but backing up important files before hand w dropbox as the files are still accessible with astro.
No idea how this happened though.
It's called MTP. Hahahaha in other words windows sucks.
Really what happens is the file list directory isn't updated so it doesn't show up on explorer. I don't even use explorer, I just use ADB push or pull.

[Q] Clockworkmod recovery cant see recovery files on external SD card

I followed the folder tree properly, i think. its on my external under clockworkmod/backup/<folder with date>
I did find the option to write new backups onto the external, but that has "mnt" in the folder tree... its under "mnt/sdcard/external_sd/clockworkmod/backup"
So i think i did it right??
I was hoping to keep the backups only on the external, freeing up some of the internal space. I did delete the oldest one off of the phones internal memory and went into recovery and it could only see the newest one - the one still on the internal. *but* i did check this before finding and changing the setting for the program to write new backups to external. would that make a difference??
Also, using rom manager and saying reboot into recovery used to work. But i had something weird happen where my phone randomly said it was not installed anymore. so i redownloaded it, and since then, when i click on reboot into recovery, it does nothing. i push ok and it will just freeze on that screen, giving me the ability to press home and it returns to the main screen as though no command has been made.
help??
I had that uninstall itself thing also happen with "gasbuddy"... not sure what caused that either.
anyone?

[Q] Help - Can't do anything with my internal storage - Xperia T

So i have kind of a situation,
i'm running cm-11-20141102-NIGHTLY-mint.
So, yesterday, i erased my internal storage (in Xperia T a.k.a SD card 0), to renew my device a little bit.
But after that i literally can't do almost anything. My camera crashes as soon as i start it, gallery says there isn't any external storage, can't make screenshots, can't put stuff into the phone. When i try to put something via usb trough my computer it says that the device stopped responding or was disconnected and when i try it strough the phone file manager it says that can't be done and that i need more permissions which is impossible because i already have all r/w permissions.
I'm kind of desesperate right now. I tried to wipe all the data, syste, storage, cashe. Tried to reflash my rom to different one. Even ran some permissions fixes. But nothing worked.
Forgot to mention, there isn't anything on the internal storage right now except the foulder lost+found which seems empty and the clockworkmod folder into, which is weird, can put things.
Is there someone who run into the same issue ?

Mounting a supposedly corrupted adopted-SD with TWRP?

Hi all. Apologies for the wall of text, I have a few questions following all of the background below.
Device info: Samsung Galaxy S7 32GB running LineageOS 16.0, NOT rooted; SD Card in question is a 128GB Sandisk MicroSD. All commands being run on computer running Ubuntu 19.10.
Yesterday, my phone gave me the "SD Card Missing" notification suddenly, and in the settings it said it was corrupted. I had had it set up as adopted storage, so it isn't a matter of just losing photos and such unfortunately - it seems as though there's important app and system data on it.
After trying several recovery programs to no avail, I came across this thread:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/general/help/corrupted-sd-card-adoptable-storage-t3801250
Which is very similar to my situation. Unfortunately I didn't find a fix here, but I did manage to make a full .img copy of the card itself, and find the encryption key at "/data/misc/vold/expand_xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.key" as per https://nelenkov.blogspot.com/2015/06/decrypting-android-m-adopted-storage.html . The problem I ran into with this guide was that I couldn't get the dmsetup command to work. However, when reading the comments of the post to see if anyone else had the problem, I saw someone mention retrieving the files through TWRP. So, I put the card back in the phone, and booted into TWRP.
In TWRP, I was able to browse through the SD Card perfectly normally with the file manager, despite the fact that it still read as corrupted when booting back into the system. So, I used adb pull (side question on this later) to retrieve the folders I was most worried about - largely what I could find of app data, my photos and videos, etc. I did not just pull the whole card at once, and I'll elaborate on why when I get to the side question about adb pull.
So, here are my questions:
1. Is it possible to mount this SD Card back to normal through TWRP? If so, how? I'd like just enough so that I can restore my apps as is onto the phone, and then convert the card to portable storage to avoid this mess again. While I do have the data pulled, it's little things like NewPipe playlists that I've got in mind here.
2. If above is not possible, how much loss am I looking at if I choose to 'forget' the adopted card? Will I have to do a factory reset?
3. (adb) When doing the adb pull, it was unable to skip any files it couldn't copy - i.e. corrupted images - and would simply stop on finding one. This means that, for example, in one folder it hit a corrupted file after 3400 successes, and stopped without copying the remaining 300. Naturally, if I had just done 'adb pull /external_sd/', then I probably would have lost a lot more because of this. Can I add any options to the command adb pull to circumvent this? I was unable to find any decent documentation on the command, but maybe I was searching for the wrong thing.
Any and all help is much appreciated, thanks in advance!
