[Q] Can't get NOVA 2 HD working... - Xoom Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

...download of sd-data seems to be complete, but when starting the game there are always 215mb left to download! Anyone got this game running?

i have it running nicely. Delete your gameloft folder on your internal memory and try re downloading, after a reboot to be safe.

[Q] Cant install PVZ with enought space free

Hi
Hi am really crazy im about to explode because i cant install Plants vs Zombies on my device....
Hi use Link2sd and my 2nd partition is 500+ mb free
And my internal memory has 120mb.
The apk its 73mb and i found another 1 for 50 mb.
And when i try too install it says " i have no space try to remove some apps to get more space blablablablabla manage applications cancel"
I deleted my cache......
All my apps are link2ed to link2sd
i Tried factory reset and then tryed to install nothing...
Link2sd only links apps to sd after installing on the internal memory but i cant install on the internal memory....
WHAT DO I DO?
I think you can use 'root explorer' to check out the free space on
/data/app
Maybe you have some problems with app2sd
Im, about, to trow, my cell from, the window, i, never wanted anything so a bad
first of all, dont post another thread on the same topic (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1186863)
and yeah, like what aswasw said, its probably a problem with link2sd. try undoing it and see how that goes. if you still want something like link2sd, try data2sd or apps2sd (im not quite familiar with link2sd). and if you can install cm7 for your phone, do it. it allows you to force any app to move to sd and also gives you the option to automatically install your apps to sd

Device says error while downloading because there is insufficient space...

ok people,
I use a samsung galaxy mini with stock gingerbread 2.3.4 rom. I have link2sd installed on my phone and device is rooted. Recently i've been getting, "error while downloading because there is insufficient space" .. I have well above 120 mb in internal memory and the whole 4 gig memory card is free. I am not able to tick auto-link to sd on link2sd , because that option is unavailable. Also i tried to partition my sd card using minitool but i think im getting it wrong.
please help me.
1. Open "Root Explorer"
2. Mount as r/w
3. Go to cache/download/ and delete everything in that folder.
This should fix your problem.
Ok i mounted as r/w and in cache folder i only found two folders lost+found and some recovery related file and there was nothing related to download.

This looks like a bug with the new android market. The new market is so silly and idiotic. First of all there are always connectivity issues in it besides insufficient memory issue now. I downgraded my market and it work flawlessly. But sadly this is short lived as it updates itself.

Bump.
So any of you facing this issue with the new market? Im really frustrated with this. Ive tried everything but nothing really helps also i dont find an alternative app market for temporary use.

I am, on my Archos 101IT Gen8...
It's killing me! Market v 3.0.26 (or 3.0.16, can't remember)... Almost all my apps need to be updated, and when I do this BLAM! 'Unable to install on SD or external storage'!
But I tried Jelly defense off Thepiratebay.org and it's the same problem... I install it, the bar moves a little and then '!Didn't install' WHY is that happening?
Even with PES 2012, but why?

cant install sprinkle full (game) Help please

So sprinkle is a really cool game that came out on tegra 2 devices only.. and now its available on 2.3 gingerbread devices without the tegra 2 aswell... Now since I upgraded to official 2.3 gingerbread via kies mini yesterday I can download it...
downloading free version which is 20mb is no problem and the game works great!!
But I just purchased the full 30mb version and it wont let me download it.... as soon as i click install it gives me an error not sufficient enough space on your device... while i have plenty of space on my sd card( a few Gb) I also have 240mb on internal app storage... So this is so weird that it wont let me download the game.
Can someone help please!!

creative fix
rip out the market from stock froyo rom..
force stop it in your gingerbread wipe data then use titanium to unistall it
copy the one from froyo to your sd card then copy it to system/app reboot
once rebooted download teh game before google updates your market ( note if your in the market screen while downloading even if it downloads the update it will not cancel your download it will wait tell you actually exit the market hehee did that to download a few things that were over 40 mb
You can also use Titanium Backup to temporarily freeze Market Updater... I've had to do that a couple times.

[Q] no more apps will install say out of room plz help

hi guys..hope this is the right spot for this..i have the asus tf101 luv it.. have it rooted.. installed cwm and prime 2.1.1 after installing some apps.. it wont let me install anymore.. says not enough room. the internal sd still has 7.3 gig free
any help figuring this out would be great... also yesterday i did wipe and put prime 2.1.1 back on there.. and it found all my apps that i had previously installed.. this is great,, but what installed these? i want to edit what it installs after a wipe..is this google that syncs my apps? if so how i edit what is on there server? or was it a backup program i had installed.. it auto installed stuff that wasnt in the prime rom
also whats the best backup manager.. i used to like titanium backup.. but now it saves different types of files.. and not saving the *.apk which is what i need. so titanium is junk to me now.. thanks in advanced
btw special thanks to the DEV's and testers on this forum.. keep up the good work. patiently waiting for paul burtons ics to be released but will check out all roms..liking the prime right now..
Not sure about your tablet's internal space problem...but with TB it does save the apk deep inside its zip file backup of the particular app.
I don't remember if the old CWM has the option to format system and boot...but I think the new one does...That would be a good option to use when you wipe since you are having problems. If CWM doesn't have those options...you can download a script from the Revolution HD thread called superwipe lite. not the full version because it will wipe your internal sd...unless that's what you want...to start with a clean slate.
By the way...I have less than 2 gigs left on internal memory...so yeah...your tablet saying that it is out of memory with 7 gigs still left is unusual.
how to clear space plz
ok the problem im having.. is low space.. running out of room..i been using nvflash to recover my space.. heres whats going on..you download a game.. run it
then theres like 400 meg plus.. more additional files.. these go some darn where..
this is why i run out of room..these must be saved to another partition.. or something.. oh well ill just keep formatting it with nvflash everytime its gets full.. any help on how to find these downloaded gaming files would be wonderful thanks
The additional data normally goes into /sdcard/Gameloft/[game]/ (if gameloft), or /sdcard/Android/Data/ or /sdcard/[app dev]/[app name]/ etc etc.
There are apps around that allows you to move the data to your external storage though (/Removable/microSD/ for example.).

[Q] resurrection problem

i am using resurrection remix jb 3.0.9 BY WEST CRIP
android version 4.1.1 on my galaxy s2 gt-i9100
i am unable to install apps on my phone and a recurring error keeps coming that i do not have enough space on my phone even though i have 1.8GB internal memory and 11.6GB external FREE.
APPS like (all free)
reckless racing lite
temple run
jetpack joyride
sprinkle etc.
You have 1.8GB free on your /data partition. Probably some other partition is full, maybe /system.
